[Q] Phone loudspeaker and reboot problem - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all,
I'll describe the problem, as it has occured in two stages.
On saturday, my phone rebooted in my pocket without any button presses or prompting.
Later in the day, I found that the loudspeaker on the phone was not working. No ringtones, message tones, email tones, could not play music, would not show youtube videos.
The phone then rebooted again.
I backed up the phone on my PC, rebooted once more and it was working fine.
Then on Sunday the phone turned off and rebooted again, and the problem with both the loudspeaker and the rebooting as been occuring on and off since then.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a reason? Is there a solution?
Thanks
Richard

[Q] Weird sound issues on Vibrant

Hey,
I've had the Vibrant for a couple months now but its been having a weird sound issue as of late where the sound just dies.
The sound stops working randomly and its frustrating because I don't know what causes it. Whats odd is that he ringtones still work if I go to test them in the Sound settings (only the stock ringtones) but all other media doesn't work. Jukefox tells me the music file type is unsupported and the on-phone music player tries to play them then skips to the next over and over.
The only solution I have for this currently is to reboot the phone then the sound works for a random amount of time before it happens again. The only way I find out is when someone calls me and it vibrates instead of the ringtone.
Any ideas? This is quite frustrating. I've also done a factory reset and the problem persists. I'm under the impression it might be a 3rd party app.

[Q] Sound and Video suddenly stopped working

Hi guys,
Hi guys,
Sounds and ringtones have suddenly stopped working. Didnt do anything nor did the phone fell or something. :S
Another issue when i try to play any media file, it wont play, it just stops and never plays. I can move along the timeline of music/vdieo file but it wont play i.e. it remains paused but indicator stays along the timeline e.g. 3 minute song, i press play button, it stays on 00:00, then when i move slider to say 1:50, it goes there but nothing happens, just stays on 1:50. After few tries, app crashes.
Even system sound files are not playing, so i cannot receive any sound notifications from call or messages.
I've tried puting in microphones, same problem.
Did a full wipe reflash...still problem persists.
I do not think its necessarily a hardware problem because it just wont play media files. As I said, all music and video files are on auto-pause... no matter what i do, i can slide on timeline, but they just remain paused.
I have tried flashing different JB roms with full wipes etc, still same problem, tried different player apps, same issue. Phone is vibrant, which is old but this shouldn't be happening nonetheless. Tried Slimroms 2.8 and 3.0 and Paranoid android latest, no luck.
Another issue, when I get a call and i slide to accept call, phone gets stuck for 5-10 seconds and then accepts the call, really annoying.
I dont have the money to buy a new phone at this point in time, I just hope to get through with 2-3 more months and then replace *finally*. Your help will be really appreciated.
I tried asking this in Vibrant Q and A forums, no luck.
Thanks!
bump~!
edit: videos started working :S , but no sound

Microphone stopped working out of nowhere

Anybody else experienced this? today afternoon before i came home i got a call and accepted it on my W501Q. i heard the caller through watch speaker but he didnt hear a single sound from me. before i entered the tram it worked perfectly fine.
at home i checked google on the watch and not a single motion arround the mic icon while i was talking. wear audio recorder also recorded an empty file. several reboots didnt fix it.
a factory reset fixed it.
cant imagine anything that caused it during the 30 mins tram ride. watch is (yet) completely unmodded (root kernel etc) so that cant be the cause.

Weird problem in Android

Hi
I recently bought a Micromax Spark 2 Plus phone running Android marshmallow 6.0
There is a weird problem i am facing in that. The ringtone suddenly stops working. If i get a call, the phone vibrates and screen flashes but ringtone doesn't work. Speakers work fine and music also plays from external speakers but only ringtone stops working. Infact ringtones from third party applications like messenger or skype also stops working (But external speakers works as voice is audible if i receive the call). Also, if i go to settings and select the ringtone, it doesn't play. Playing a mp3 song works.
Rebooting the phone fixes the issue temporarily with everything working fine. Phone works fine for a day and then suddenly again the ringtone stops working. Again rebooting fixes the issue temporarily. I have done factory reset also but still the problem persists.
Please give me some idea as what the problem could be!! Is is a hardware related issue or a software related issue??
The vendor i purchased the phone from is not replacing the handset.
P.S. when ringtone stops working, the external speaker works for voice calls and mp3 songs, youtube videos etc. Only ringtones do not work that time.
Please help!!
Regards

losing sound from apps and phone calls

Three days ago, I suddenly could not hear anything from the speakerphone when I called, so I had to turn on the speaker to hear what the other said. In addition, all the sounds from apps like youtube, games, videos, music disappear even though I turned the whole volume on at the highest volume level. But the strange thing is that I still can video call with my friends, as well as hear the ringtone and other notification sounds. I have tried factory reset and installed another ROM but things have not changed. And I also can not login or create a new account on my device after installing a new ROM. Please help me (((
