I am having problems with syncing to outlook.
The account is up and running, the calendar and contacts are ok, and emails are received, however, it seems like the device decides on its own when it wants to sync email and when it doesn't. I have syncing on as "push" both on peak and off peak, and am connected at all times on 3G or WiFi (mostly 3G).
I do not see a pattern of when it does not sync but I made sure that my APN is in order and cannot see a reason why it does not push the emails.. Sometimes, I do not receive emails for hours and only when I open the email client, it says "Refreshing" and suddenly I get the emails that were not pushed.
I am currently on KE7 update and the problem persists. I came from HTC Desire and never had such problem on it..
Anyone experiencing the same problem or have any fixes?
Thanks.
Has anyone tried Moxier Mail as a corporate mailclient?
It looks really good, but I cant get it to sync.
I'm the exchangeadmin at work and have access to logs and I can see that it connects and tries to sync, it even gets a HTTPS 200-reply from our server, but the damn thing wont sync the mails...
Have mailed the support, hopeing for a reply.
i'm using moxier mail 2.8 with exchange server (activesync) on flyer 3g and it works fine.
Howevery I got one or two times it stoped sync, deleting the sync profile and recreate it fixed the problem.
I shut my wifi off when I'm at work or anywhere that does not have wifi or the wifi is password protected. The issue is at times I notice that my wifi comes back on and starts searching. Anyone else have this issue?
My second issue is I can not find a setting for my email to stop the notification sound for it and keep it on for my text messages. I was able to find it in yahoo but did not see it in gmail or the stock email from Samsung.
Hello,
I am using the HTC Amaze 4G and currently on ICS.
There seems to be a weird issue going on here. I have setup my office emails and the Push Mail feature never works. I have to manually sync up the mailbox always. The option for Push Mail is enabled for peak hours and non-peak hours, however it never works.
Any ideas to solve this?
I have the same issue. Neither push email nor scheduled sync doesn't work, only manually sync
I have three email accounts, all hotmail or msn accounts, setup in the email program that came with the phone. Two days ago, my texts started showing up in all three email accounts. Even if I access the email accounts from my computer and not the phone, the texts are there. So that means the phone is forwarding the texts to the email accounts. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?
Got it. I don't know how they SMS sync got turned on for the three accounts just the day before yesterday. I had never been that deep into the settings before and it wasn't like that since I got the phone the day they were released. Pretty weird that it turned itself on like that.
