I think the key statement that sticks out to me on that article is "may be coming"...

I don't believe we will have a plethora of apps until more 3d devices hit the market, but at the same time I believe we can take the apps/games listed as a sure thing. My reason for that is because it is listed in multiple articles. I also believe I read that the info came from rovio and com2us but don't quote me on that part.

Agreed. My wife would be envious if I was playing Angry Birds in 3D. She is stuck on that game. First on her EVO and now on her iPad2.
I emailed the developer of speedx 3D and asked if he would make use of the native 3D screen of the EVO. He replied and said that HTC hasn't released the api's yet but once theyre out he would.
That was difficult to read. How does someone get away with writing **** like that.

Totally agree. That hurt my brain.
After reading the part on the 3d weather app and the augmented reality possibility it makes me curious what other types of apps are being considered using the 3d technology.

This really isn't a big deal when they don't actually use the things they patent anyways.
If I had the money, I'm sure I would be buying patents all around the place too so I can later sue for infringement should they be violated. Insta-money.
But if they do it'll be the first of its kind ever on a smartphone. Atleast that's what Apple will claim and everyone will be awed...lol so sad.

Well, not to break up all the android love going on, but their patent is different. We've seen 3d before, but I guess this is a third sensor. It might be innovative and it might not be, who knows, but they better not say they were first with 3d.

Yes we can brag about being first with 3D, I just hope HTC will continue to support this feature and maybe enhanced it with future updates....
Well I'm on a strict diet and would like a widget that counts the days/weeks. A little motivation when I'm feeling down to give me a perk and realize how far I've came. Can't find on through the market and Google.
