I have decompiled everything, from what I can tell, the shared m10 dat files seem to determine what image is used. The problem is those images are in Rosie m10's.

Even the MusicLover apk navbar ? If its in rosie apk then y isn't the music lover skin pre installed. Why do u have to download it from HTC hub

I'll look at fusion m10 files tomorrow and see if i can find the MusicLover navbar. Maybe u are right. But that seems like a far stretch. If HTC makes new skins for the hub, how will they incorporate navbars without doing an ota for the fusion.apk ?

The images are pre installed in the Rosie m10 files, you would have to get an update from HTC to change them without root.

I just checked the rosie.apk. there are no music lover images in there. So that's not where they are.
Did you decompile all of the m10 files? I'll look at again when I get home.

I need the apk and m10 within decompiled to edit images within. I've decompiled with apktool and mode10 tool and cannot find the navbar image. It was in port-hdmi in sense 2.0, but not in 3.0 :-/

I wish one of us could locate this image. Like i said in sense 2.0 MusicLover.apk it was in there and I edited it.... If we can find it in the skin apk then we can make custom skins for EVO 3d and Sensation. Without root.

I too was starting to dig deep to locate the nav bar and was able to find the default bar broken into like 5 different images.....its a step in the right direction.....but I don't see us doing custom skins and being able to change the nav bar at this point...not without root. But maybe I am just not smart enough either....lol
Why not just edit the navbar in rosie.apk itself?

No way to push the modified rosie apk without some root access.

this idea was started by tommytomatoe. i read about it on a thread from pulse. i thought it was an awesome concept so i contacted him and started on the sense 3.0 version right away.
since we have only temporary root the concept was to be able to install rosie without flashing to system.
what i have so far is a transparent app and add to home screen and a five row app drawer. this is a work in progress and we hope to have remaped buttons coming.

ok i am seeing issues with htc widgets. non htc widgets load fine
once installed you will be prompted everytime you launch rosie which version you want to launch. the one you select by default can be reversed by going to manage applications and resetting the defaults. please post any issues.

To install place the apk on your card and use a file manager to install
rosie for non root 3.0 sense

Please consider adding a semi-transparent rosie. I would use it as a daily if you added that.

Ya, some stay and some don't but it wouldn't let me add any that I tried. A little of topic but I thought sense3.0 was suppose to have a semi transparent Rosie?

yeah those images are in com.htc.resources. we may make the rosie all inclusive but that will be difficult
Yes, that's exactly what I thought it would be. If u look at the skins, the HTC one looks like it's the semi trans one but when u choose it it's not.

To get a non root transparent rosie all u have to do is edit a skin. Ie... Music lover or any other from HTC hub. Problem is, in sense 3.0 the rosie image in skin files is in a m10, they are trying to fix mode10 tools so we can edit a skin from HTC hub, and accomplish a transparent non root rosie !

or we can have a default transparent launcher by adding images to rosie and making it independent of resources. the + here is having a seperate launcher to work with while the stock rosie is running. this is basicly a different app. or at least it is recognized as such
So where is transparent Rosie then ? And running two launchers at once is just gonna hurt the battery length on the phone. Skin using the original skin picker the phone came with. That's why its there.

I was running virus' stock theme first yes. But I flashed r157 then new blue and it worked but them I tried the overscroll and it boot looped so I reverted to my nandroid where it was r157, stock theme 3, and then new blue

as per request i threw together a radiant blue theme for the current eternity (deodexed) found here (I am testing on r192 but should work on r193,r218+) might work on other 2.17 Roms as well with leedroid tweaks already installed.

After you get it figured out, I recommend going into tweaks and find "zip align" then reboot and then.... Run supercharger script and choose option 7.
I've been running a combo of honey sense and this theme with eternity for a little while and I must say... Snapper then other roms and with little sacrifice of battery use. Virus is working on another ROM based on ota and with killer battery life but I personally love the responsiveness of r192 and with the colors of radiant blue theme.

Is the screen 960 x 540 ? If it it's not you might have to do allot of resizing

Bugs i know of are the 4x1 clock numbers and friendstream 4x4 widget hard to read text.
Also lock screen ring and shortcuts position cannot be acheived in skin. That's part if the Rom I'm using. (as well as the statusbar icons)
You need modded idlescreen_base.apk to get that lock screen and systemui.apk for the statusbar icons.
Features a new custom lockscreen backgrounds for Weather and Friendstream and much more!

Would be a complete rebuild and would not be able to achieve transparent flip clock without modding HTC flipclock widget as well

One Last Skin.…
This is the last skin I’ll ever create. I know that seems drastic but with the new HTC Sense 5 coming out soon there won’t be skins available to us like they are now.
Is This The End…?
Theming as we now know it will soon be over. Not to fear though full themes will be available. They just won’t be as easily changed on the fly as we have gotten familiarized with.
What Do I Do Now…?
Well actually it’s not the end of the world. I’m just moving on (back to full themes). You Too can learn to theme or, use some of the great work from other fellow themers here on xda.

I started with my Marbelous Blue skin, added transparent widget backgrounds including lock screen notification backgrounds, new lock ring and new wallpaper. I might add or change more later but for now I'm really digging this look
