Because some og evos had 5, some 3, and some had 4, I was just curious....
The more you have is better for emulators/games...but not needed I guess.

When did u get ur hw3 evo 3d
No wasn't questioning the reason for the post. Just saying 4 seems plenty. Pretty difficult to use more than two fingers if you hold it like a phone lol.

Some games have two player support on the same screen at both ends LOL. I'm wondering if some unlucky soul got like 3 maybe haha; and yes 4 is more than enough.

so what hardware version should i exspect to get because im getting the evo 3d on the 4th of july so im guessing hw003 maybe? i am hoping by then all the issues will be worked out
I have hardware version 0002 and 4 touch points.
Hw2 4points

Hw 002, 4 points
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA App
I'm sorry, I was mistaken earlier, it is 0002. Not sure where I seen the 003 at, my parents phones aren't with me now to check, but mine is 002.
Hardware Version 0002
Touch Points is 4
My HTC EVO 4G only had 2 touch points. Im surprised the 3D only has 4 when some versions of EVO 4G as you mentioned had up to 5. Having 5 touch points on a phone might not be needed for every day games but a few games out there wont be able to us as they need 5 or more touch points.
I've seen a video of a phone that had 10 touch points on youtube.
Is there even a hw003 yet an if so is that wat i should expect to get on the 4th of july

I also have an app called dualromX2 I think it was made for the dinc it uses emmc to dual boot was wondering if I post it if it could be ported to the 3d
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
yeah i second that. I figured people would be all over that dualromx for the 3dvo. I'm surprised that this is not talked about more. I'd imagine once we have AOSP it will be more in demand. But i want it now if anyone can give info on why it hasn't been talked about or if its not gonna be possible please share. thanks
Dual bout manager will work, as long as youre rooted.

Yea id much rather see dualromX work on the 3d
Sent from my PG86100 using XDA Premium App
It's being worked on. There are several issues with this at the moment. I started the dual boot project last year, but lost motivation. I am actively working on it when I get a chance and also looking into using the extra free space on the emmc that we currently don't have access to. Conap refuses to work with me for some unknown reason, even though a lot of what he uses came from me. Don't worry though, it'll happen. And when it dies there will be some other big things coming out for it, that we've only dreamed of.

Nice unCoRrUpTeD I have been following your project for a year or longer glad to see you haven't gave up I would love for you to get yours going

Yea that's the one I was talking about originally it just takes way too much space IMO like 3-4x the rim size and that's crazy with these 400 MB+ sense roms

The chips aren't aligned in the two phones. You have to put the nexus butt near the evo head.
After doing that it worked for me.

But to answer I probably won't. And not because I think it's useless but because I'm already so invested with Android. All my Applications have been bought on Google Play.

I was joking. The hardware for the new iPhone is pretty solid, but I feel hampered by the software. And a lot of the "revolutionary" new features have been done before... Some more than a year or 2 ago. Android has many phones comparable in hardware, maybe not the evo 3d, any the software is much more versatile.

Hopefully this thread isn't devolving into a flame war.
I have to agree with what has been said about the iPhone, though. It has very nice hardware, and a very nice screen. It's hard to argue against that, but I've never felt comfortable with the iOS. It's limiting and the rollout of its newest features seem like playing catch-up rather than innovating, at least recently.
I used WP7 for about an hour once. I have to say that I didn't dislike it. While I'm pretty invested in Android, like plenty of other people on this forum, I wouldn't be afraid to get a Lumia 920 or any WP8 phone, so long as it was within reach, but I feel like I would still feel limited.
Seriously HTC? Your new keyboard is fine but how many years are we going to have to deal with the suggestions completely ignoring that it's is a real word? Stock JB and probably lower versions are fine. What gives mofos?
Lol, I've noticed that too.

That's too hard! Jk, lol. It's not that hard, it's actually easy says cat in the hat!
Ahh. I thought that because it didn't add the word while typing that it already existed. It's in there now. Though I have to just type "it" for it to come up. Typing its still doesn't give me the option.
What bugs me is the word 'don't'. Whether sense or AOSP, if I type don't, it defaults to Dont. Ggrrrrr
