Any idea on when 3d movies from watch or blockbuster will be available? I'd like to see the workspace of the guys that designed these apps, probably looks like a landfill. Both are extremely redundant and unorganized.
If they are available, I sure can't find them.

I agree. It's not notated anywhere on what is and isn't 3D. Green Hornet doesn't even say it and it IS!

I have found myself looking for an app that will really make this phone show off its muscle, I'm sure you guys have too. Let's start a thread where apps and games are posted that use our hw to its full potential (cpu, qhd screen etc).
There was a thread on the gs2 forum which has a list of games that work with their phone. I have been trying some of the games and i will post a list when i get home from vacation

Try Dungeon Defenders. It was a stutter-fest on Evo 4G, but on 3D it's very nice, fast, smooth and higher res.

I found this.. its a live wallpaper, looks pretty good. Search the market for Evo3d live wallpaper new.

There's a particle storm live wallpaper that looks really good on our device. Max settings no problem.

I am more curious as to any 'real' 3D apps in the market yet. I wish there was a way to distinguish the 3D 'look' from the EVO 3D compatible. Is there anything yet?

Omg Apparatus is a beautiful looking game it. Is very fun also have all the settings set to high and it runs like butter! You will just have the urge to buy thus game

Real Fire for 3VO
Real Fire looks nice and sexy, i got the fps up to 60 and looks like my phone is engulfed in an inferno. It's also optimized for the new screen resolution of 540 x 960. Very nice!

I think the key statement that sticks out to me on that article is "may be coming"...

I don't believe we will have a plethora of apps until more 3d devices hit the market, but at the same time I believe we can take the apps/games listed as a sure thing. My reason for that is because it is listed in multiple articles. I also believe I read that the info came from rovio and com2us but don't quote me on that part.

Agreed. My wife would be envious if I was playing Angry Birds in 3D. She is stuck on that game. First on her EVO and now on her iPad2.
I emailed the developer of speedx 3D and asked if he would make use of the native 3D screen of the EVO. He replied and said that HTC hasn't released the api's yet but once theyre out he would.
That was difficult to read. How does someone get away with writing **** like that.

Totally agree. That hurt my brain.
After reading the part on the 3d weather app and the augmented reality possibility it makes me curious what other types of apps are being considered using the 3d technology.

I flipped through every movie available and didn't notice anything tagged as 3D...I thought there would at least be 1 or 2 additional 3D movies I could purchase...am I missing something? Or just expecting too much too soon?

HTC and Sprint Trolled us.
There is only one 3D movie for our phones, and a terrible one at that. We got owned.
Green hornet isnt terrible,,, isn't the gladiator or braveheart lol but its not dance flick either lol

Right now we're kind of on our own for "finding" 3D movies/videos. There are plenty of 3D movies available online, you just have to find them (legally, of course )
A little birdie said netflix should get a few 3D movies that can be watched on 3D tvs and glasses free devices....no time frame though.

So I just got my EVO 3d after getting my upgrade moved from.January to today and I'm joining the club I know a lot of people is been negative about the phone but just remind me how it was. When the EVO 4G came out lol, any cool tips for the 3d I'm a big Android user BTW and Love to play with the later gadgets , so maybe something the is different to the 3d compare to other devices in the market ?

What I want to know ? Mm I know there is 3d videos on youtube and such but like any apps the are good for the EVO 3D only or work better and any good apps or plug ins in HTC hub ?

TeamWin came out with an app called "TwinPic 3D" that's in the market that allows you to send 3D pics to other people with 3D Android phones in 3D format.
Also, check out this thread I started when the 3D was released for people to share their 3D pics and videos. Lots of good stuff on there from other XDA 3vo owners:
