Please find pictures of two SGS2. Left one is from "Meteor Ireland", right one is "Vodafone Ireland". As you can see screen of left one is much better ( more white ), right one is blueish. Touch keys lights are darker on the right one. Are there two versions of SGS2?

Most likely it's related to the country where they have been made. People from my country reported some of the devices made in China have a purple tint, while devices made in Korea are pretty much ok. Here's a photo showing both phones:
on my picture, right (bad) one has note "made by Samsung in Korea" and the left one "made by Samsung" only.

Then i guess it's just random and they let too many flawed devices get out of the factories

This rumor is quite old. No one's seen a tegra 2 yet and i seriously doubt they will in the future.

I'm with Meteor on PAYG i went to get the GS2 on a 12 month contract but they were looking for a €300 deposit so i told them where to go and bought it outright unbranded and unlocked, i didn't think there would be any difference to be honest if anything given Vodafone are more expensive you'd expect them to have the phone direct from Samsung.
Related
Does anyone know if the GS2 will be coming to Sprint and if so, when? I just got a NS4G and I'm considering returning it and saving the upgrade for the GS2
i don't think so
if it does come it will be in a very long time with a CDMA band
just like the Nexus 4G that came at the end of the cycle
Rumor is it will be called the Samsung Galaxy Within or Sprint Within and a late July release date seems to be the general consensus.

Well, we're two weeks away from the end of July. Hopefully, there will be some announcement on Monday!

Looks like everyone but the U.S. is getting the Samsung Galaxy S II one way or the other and it seems like future owners have been waiting an eternity to get one. Hopefully Sprint will launch its version of the phone in a matter of weeks as what is believed to be called the Galaxy Within has been allegedly pictured above.
As you can see in the comparison shot we've put together below, the basic lines and what appear to be specifications are quite the same. Give or take a couple of details, you still have your eight-megapixel at the back but this time above the flash --which also seems larger -- instead of its left.
The Sprint logo should clear any doubts of the destination for the Within and the side buttons/rockers seem to match. With its 1.2GHz Exynos CPU coupled with 1GB of RAM, 4.3-inch Super AMOLEDPlus screen and a two-megapixel front facing camera, the Galaxy Within would be the EVO 3D's strongest competitor on Sprint. For all of you out there waiting, it should be coming soon -- late July according to rumors -- and with Android 2.3.4 at that!

I think it has to show at least some type of template for the next galaxy, that is not a known device as of right now. The bezelless display is so damn sexy.
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Looks like that could be the SGIII but I think Samsung would modify any upgrade a bit more that just looks like an extended SGII sans the bezel.
Cant be bro.... think about it, the phone is definitely not coming out before march,
ics is coming to gs2 and the note by feb end (possiby)
Why would you create a phone with physical buttons for ics?
Id love to see a phone the size of the galaxy note but without bezels or buttons and maybe less than 8mm... id sell my month old galaxy note in a heartbeat and go for it... well wishful thinking

Doubt that picture will look anything like the Galaxy SIII. Firstly I don't get why there's a notification bar in camera mode. Secondly, don't get why there is (are) physical button(s), you would think it would get ICS.

Because you can.. Huawei did it. P1, P1 S. Sony did it as well. Soft buttons aren't a requirement.

Refer to my previous comment, sir.
physical buttons are better than software ones.
1) if you use software buttons then part of the screen is lost to these buttons and therefore you are actually using a smaller viewable area.
2) if you use a bigger screen to compensate for soft buttons then you end up consuming more battery.
looks nice, but i dont think so...
No way... Funny how wild some of the speculation about the SGS III are. I must admit I think it's amazing how well Samsung has been able to keep the device's specs a secret up to this point.
Looked more like the 5" screen of the galaxy note.

They don't visit bar with their prototype phones.
So Yesterday, one of my friends gave me his GALAXY S3 to change the software because the phone was very laggy
Then I was shocked with the specs of the phone
the phone says that it's a Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 but the specs is completely different
this phone's internal storage is only 2GB,
and I used CPU-Z to detect it's hardware
CPU-Z says it's has only 2 cores, 1GHZ each, 512MB of ram, PowerVR GPU ?!??!?
So, Iam not sure what to do with that phone, Iam afraid to install a GT-I9300 software, because this one is different
any suggestions ?!?!

It is a clone, lol
Installing S3 ROMs will brick it. You'll need to google the info to find a forum with ROMs that support the phone, although it's possible your friend doesn't know its an S3 clone so I would mention that to them first.

You know, I take my hat off to the one who made that clone, it's 100% similar, you can't know what's the real one if you put a real s3 behind it
now, what should i tell to my friend ,! ?! !?D< "D

i hope your friend doesnt payed for a real s3
My friend once brought an Galaxy S3 for less than $200, but another person spent over $400.
the cheap phone turned out to be a fake clone. The resolution of that screen is only 540*960.
Simple gullibility test: is this deal I'm being offered too good to be true? If yes, then it's probably isn't.
If you paid half the value of a retail S3 then you probably have a good idea something isn't quite right. If, however, you paid full price then you have every right to get even.
I can't find anywhere is there S-Off for .15?

New to th
I am appalled at the total lack of coverage given by the evening echo to our latest British world champion.
I deliberately bought the echo thinking they would give more coverage than one of the nationals but alas NOT one picture and as far as I can tell not one word written about him or how he achieved getting to be world champion.
I do not follow football in any way so I don’t suppose this will be printed in the paper, but considering that today Monday 19-10-09 when I expected to see something there were 6 ? pages covering football related matters.
What I do like and love are motor sports and have been too many places and countries to watch it.
What and who am I talking about, Formula One and the new British World Champion, Jenson Button.
Anyone care to comment??

Yes, I know that this is the AT&T HTC One page. I'm just curious though, I know that the 'Beatsaudio' branding can be rubbed off, however does anyone know if the carrier logo will be able to be rubbed off, or is it etched in? I know that nobody knows whether the "Verizon 4GLTE" is etched in or not, but one would think that if the AT&T logo is, the Verizon logo would be as well, right?
I had an AT&T One, but got rid of it and didn't think to check.
Thanks for any help!
The deathstar is etched in on my at&t phone. Hate it.

not sure how verizon's will look, but the ATT globe on the back of my one doens't bother me at all. it's incredibly minimal, almost not visible, and there's not a trace of ATT crap on the front, just the HTC near the buttons. hopefully the vzw logo won't be too intrusive for you. you get stock 4.2.2 on launch so dont complain too much.

It's not too bad, it's actually quite minimalist considering this is Verizon we're talking about, but I have seen a totally blank HTC One with no carrier logo and the 'beatsaudio' rubbed off and it looked damn sexy
This is the VZW One

Yeah that's not to bad, like you said, considering what vzw typically does. Would love to see a shot if the phone fully debranded, save for HTC badges. It's such a beautiful piece of hardware.

Ask and you shall receive... I think this is a Sprint HTC One, because Sprint decided not to put a "Sprint" logo on the One. Lucky Sprint One owners!
