USB and Subsonic issues. - HTC EVO 3D

I have noticed that if I have Subsonic open in the background and its not playing and then I plug in my phone to my pc and use it as a disk drive, if I unplug the phone Subsonic will start to play music all by itself...
If I do the same steps without subsonic running it wont play music. Or if I do the same steps and plug in my phone just to charge using the charge only option it also wont play music...
Is this a bug? Maybe with Subsonic?
Anyone else experience this?

Music Player Keeps Pausing or Skipping Tracks

My stock music player keeps pausing after a few seconds of play, and occasionally it will skip to the next track. I am not sure how to fix this and it is very annoying. I have had this issue both rooted and stock. Looking on the web it appears that others are having this issue as well, and that turning off the flip motion does not help, as well as using other players. Has anyone found a fix for this?
EDIT: I have a feeling this is a sensitivity issue with the screen. I notice if I pause, it automatically starts playing sometimes. Perhaps the heat of my touch is being retained on the screen and the app has too sensitive of a setting to tap the play button?
I haven't used the stock music player because of the lack of features available. Try player pro from the play store. It is one of the best music apps I have found, even better then winamp in my opionion.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using xda app-developers app
It will act up if you have it USB-connected to your computer and access the files on your storage card using your computer's explorer.
I'm not connected to anything. Does it while charging, not charging, bluetooth, headphones, phone speakers, stock app, other apps, ect.

VLC + Bluetooth

Wondering if it's just me who's noticed this. Was annoyed and confused at first, and the quite surprised, not sure if in a good or bad way.
I started playing an tv show episode on my nexus 10 using VLC beta. Bluetooth was enabled and it was synced with my win 7 computer. As it is, when it syncs upto my computer a windows media player pops up and i can play all my music that is stored on the nexus.
But with VLC, video would be playing, but the audio, in sync, would play through the main stereo connected to my computer without having to accept anything or change anything. Was confused as to why there was no sound on the nexu and then muted the video that was playing on the computer to find that there was the bobs burger audio playing in the background. Figure it could be pretty cool in one application or another.
(this is my first ever tablet so forgive me if this is old and boring news )

Setting up a Jukebox

I am looking to use a cheap android tablet as a Jukebox for a basement entertainment system.
The speaker would be connected to the 3.5mm headphone outlet. The tablet would be perpetually plugged into the AC outlet.
I'm thinking of putting a music player app such as PowerAmp and keeping the tablet constantly on the app. Guests can turn the tablet on and select a song to play at will
My question is: is there anyway I can have PowerAmp or any other music player scan and play music files directly from a Cloud storage, such as Dropbox, without having to download the files to local storage?
I know with PowerAmp, it can only scan your local media and since Dropbox for mobile doesn't sync automatically, you have to pull each song manually onto the tablet's local storage. I plan on having a lot of music so I don't want store any music locally.

Audio streaming issue with ES File Explorer

I routinely play MP3 files that are stored on my home computer by streaming them over the network using ES File Explorer. I connect directly using WiFi when I'm at home, and I use OpenVPN Connect when I'm away from home. This always worked great on my 1st Gen Moto E, but now I am having an issue where it plays a couple seconds of music and then pops, and this keeps repeating. It still makes the popping noise even with the volume turned all the way down. This happens when I'm using the built-in ES media player, and also with Google play music. It works fine when playing from the SD card. I can stream video stored on my computer without any problems; it only happens when playing music. The problem seems to go away for a while sometimes after I change settings in the Moto Assist app. Is anybody else experiencing this issue? I don't have logcats since I'm waiting to see if the camera issue with root can be fixed first.
Edit: Rhapsody and Google play music stream just fine; the problem only occurs when using ES File Explorer to play files from a network share.

Only with netflix and amazon prime? Not on stock video player, YouTube, etc.?
Then it could be a "feature" of these apps.
If you have a PC attached to the monitor, stream the videos from PC instead of from your tablet.

I have found an interesting quirk of these apps, If? I download the movie to then be able to play/pause without an issue, but if I stream and pause will disconnect the Samsung Model Number SR75 UHD 4k monitor attached to Samsung Model Number EE-MG950 HDMI Dex Station. Strange that it only disconnects while streaming?? YouTube streaming is fine and I will try others to see if same occurs? IDK? maybe is a Netflix & Amazon Prime video anomaly because of connected through monitor versus tablet screen? I just can't figure out why? I know only one other person with a Galaxy Tab S7 and we tried with his in same issue.

I rarely use my PC anymore since my first Galaxy Tab S4 used thru Dex station. The Dex allows me to use my tablet easier than my Windows PC laptop. I only use PC when Windows is required versus Android/Dex.
