OK, so I am rooted running BAMF RC3 and I recently seem to have lost my google account. I was installing/deleting various twitter apps deciding which I wanted to keep when I noticed that my calandar widget was blank. I went into Accounts and Sync and Google was gone. I clicked "Add Account" and Google wasn't even one of the choices. I then tried to reflash the rom without wiping thinking that might bring it back, but no such luck. Has anyone ever had this happen or have any suggestions?? Thanks in advance.
I had this happen to me when I was deleting some apps, turns out that if u start deleting before ALL of the apps load in your app manager it starts screwing everything up. Basically, you deleted your Google services apk. I wound up doing a complete wipe and flashed rc3 cuz I was on rc1 at the time but I would imagine a simple reflash would do the trick, maybe wipe the cache and dalvik cache for good measure

That happened to me twice on my stock dInc. Wipe and restore is the only fix I found too.

I got the app on my phone and on my computer... but it cant connect on my phone.... anyone having this issue?
mine doesnt work either. It says sent one browser. Instructions are too simple to screw up.
You opened and connected using your gmail acct via the app itself?
I forgot to do it for a few days after nand restoring and thought it wasn't working. I just needed to connect to my gmail acct again.
This was five minutes ago, lol.
you need to sign in to your gmail account on both browser and phone. works.

i'm on a rooted droid eris running tazz 6.0 froyo
lately chrome to phone stopped working for me too. I am logged in on my computer and the c to p app on my phone. it just does not work at all.
has worked flawlessly before. but for some reason now, my phone never receives the link.
I have a rooted Aria running CM6 chrome to phone has stopped working, I have linked and relinked the app to no avail, also I'm unable to uninstall the app from my phone.
**Just got a new update for the application, working fine again.
C2P is not working anymore. It used to work fine, but with wiping and flashing, something has gone wrong. I have two Gmail accounts. It works well with one of them, but my main Gmail account is not working. I use my main account to synch contacts etc.
I have tried everything from wiping phone, deleting history data, reinstalling both chrome and chrome to phone, changing my password, but no avail. So it's probably not the app itself, but something went wrong with the connection of a certain account, or smt.. anyone?
chrome to phone is not working on my phone either .... im not recieving any links ..i uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but its still not working
not working for me either. used to work, but stopped for some reason. Tried clearing c2p data, reinstalling, rolled back to version 2.0, nothing has worked so far...
rooted moto droid
I don't use Chrome To Phone, I use LinkPush which does exactly the same thing.
Simply type "LinkPush" on the market and install the plugin for chrome and it's done ^^
Running into this issue as well. I fixed it once before after doing a full wipe, but this time it still didn't work after a full wipe.
Anyone figure out what the deal is?
same issue. I have two google accounts on my phone. When I sign into chrome to phone using my secondary gmail acct, it works. If I delete the secondary and leave only one gmail acct, it does not work. If I use my secondary as my only gmail acct, it works.
Very annoying as I want to keep my primary gmail signed in on my browser;;
Same problem its nice not to be all alone..
im going to hard reset see if it fixes the problem
i just hard reset and still not working
not working here either. i only enabled 1 account on both laptop and phone. laptop extension says that the link was sent to phone, but nothing happens on the phone.
chrome to phone used to work before...

How do you cleared the dalvik cache??
I tried the whole cache clear thing and it did not work. Google really needs to have a place in Gmail to remove the phone association.
My question is pretty simple. I've searched and not found a good method. In the 2.2 CyanogenMod ROMS, the option is there to let google keep track of the apps you have installed. This is dang handy for rom-flippers like myself. However, I cannot find a good way to not have the market start re-downloading all these apps whenever I load a new ROM. I tried to keep the Let Google back up your apps unchecked on initial setup, but it does it anyway. I know I could probably wait to register my google account, but that doesn't help.
Ultimately, I'd like to have a real option that will let me decide whether I want the market to re-install all my apps. I'd also like to be able to clear that data somehow.
Does anyone know how I could do this?
Thanks!
If you start the ROM after a data wipe and do not sign in to Google at the initial setup, but then give Google credentials to Gmail or the Market after the launcher starts, it will not automatically reinstall the apps.

Thanks. I just wish it was a little more elegant.
I like that my apps get restored automatically but I would like it not to change settings. When I flash a new rom I would like to be able to check out the rom before any settings are changed, such as wallpaper, sounds, ect.
Is there a way to have google restore only the apps and not change any settings?
My son's Archos 70 arrived today and he's thrilled with it. Having used my HTC Desire he is aware of the Android Market and I said that I would put it on for him. I followed a video from YouTube by the Digital Digest which pointed me to Kenyu's apk and all went beautifully so thanks to all involved.
He had gone to bed by the time I had finished so when the Market showed up in the Apps I thought that I would sign in just to test that it worked. Wrong move! It immediately started syncing and has downloaded all my phone contacts, my calendar and goodness knows what else. Obviously he has no use for these. Is there a way to disassociate my Google account from his Market and also to wipe all that I accidentally downloaded?
Thanks for any help and I think I may be haunting these forums in future!
Hey pinmac, I'm not home to test this at the moment but I believe if you do a factory reset, it clears the Google account associated with the device. Should be in settings/ storage/ factory reset. After that, reboot.

Thanks, Zoidpilot. As he's only had it since yesterday he hasn't tweaked it much but has done some tweaking so I was hoping to avoid a complete reset if possible?
I still haven't had a chance to verify, but I believe thats the only way... Will double check when I get out of work tonight.
I'm not sure if this will work, but you might try..
Open and close market.
Settings | Accounts & sync settings | [your account] | Remove account
Then go to
Settings | Applications | Manage Applications .. click on the Running tab
Select Market and Clear cache, Clear Data, and Force stop and then the back button
Select Google Services Framework and Clear data, and Force stop and then the back button
Select Contacts Storage and Clear data then the home button and then reboot
You should be able to sign in with the correct account and then you'll have to redo the Market Fix (twice).
Hope that works,
Tesla
I've seen some threads about this in forums for other phones, but nothing has been able to fix the issue.
I installed Alien yesterday, and once I was sure the ROM was working fine I immediately flashed the old market as I was having crazy issues when I was using the new one on my last ROM.
I then restored all of apps using Titanium Backup, being sure that it was set to restore the market links for all of them to the proper account. However, not a single one of the apps appeared in the market after the restore.
I tried to use the Market Doctor feature, but TiBU thinks that all of the apps are already linked to the market anyway. I've also tried manually delinking and relinking apps to the market, but that doesn't fix the issue either. The only "fix" I've been able to figure out is reinstalling each and every app from the market, but that's certainly not a very convenient fix.
I've restarted my phone around 5 times since restoring and the apps still have not appeared. I've also tried wiping the cache and data of the market yet that still does not help.
Any ideas? D:
Might not fix your issue, but something similar happened to me a while back.
My fix was simply upgrading TiBu to the latest version, but I'm guessing that you did that already...
Yea, it was definitely already the latest version when I restored and still is now -.-
Revert back to the previous version of Market. And Force Quit it and clear market cache. Fixes the problem
Also, if you are on the main page of TiBu, press Menu, and the first options is to repair market links, try it!

As stated in the original post, I was on the old market in the first place, have tried clearing data, and have also tried the TiBU Market Doctor with no result -.-
I had same issue i just force closed market and cleared cache and data and when i restarted market the apps came up.
usually with the old market (2.3.6) after running market doctor, I install a random app and all of my apps show up in "my apps". It's in the TiBU wiki and worked for me.
I did briefly try the new market, but I could never get all of my apps to list properly in "my apps". Tried force closing, clearing data/cache, etc. Uninstalled and everything lists properly with the old market, no need to mess with cache, market doctor, etc.
I've got a myTouch3G 1.2 with GRP's CM7.1 port, and the last few Maps updates have been causing issues. I know the ROM isn't to blame because this happens on EVERY ROM I've used. Anyway, Navigation keeps acting stupid. It works for a few minutes, then the screen dims, and after a minute or two, it FCs, unless I turn the screen off and back on. Weird and annoying glitch. Anyone else having this problem? I don't know if Maps is to blame, or the radio/SPL. Who knows?
- Try to clear cache (Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications-->Maps
If that doesn't work then reinstall it. If Google Maps is bundled with the ROM and can't be uninstalled easily then:
- Install Root App Remover, remove Maps and install it from the market again.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, didn't work. First thing I did was clear the cache. No dice.
I can't seem to find an older version to go back to.
I had a similar issue... It fixed itself after i did a full wipe and partitioned my sdcard. Check your sd for a file that might be causing this interference. I know some stuff can be catched to the sd card.. I don't know though.. Just a guess.

I'll try that then.
Nope. No go.
