What launcher are you using? Some launchers have a full screen setting, where it will hide your status bar.

Well that's odd. I'm not sure,.I would probably do a factory reset. I've already had to do a couple of them, for various reasons. Had you installed any new apps prior to this happening? Maybe a weird setting in an app?

That sucks, I was just using a file manager to delete the spiderman demo and a window just popped up that says status bar must force close.

Mine has done it. It even animated upward like adw. So I think its part of an app malfunctioning.

Contact short cut icon missing from home screen, not the added one. Default 4 icons in the bottom of the screen

I may be wrong but if you are running the stock launcher, you dont. Its built into the bottom dock and remains there when you open the app drawer. But I may be mistaken about that.

I updated the ota and now the icon for the phone apk is gone. The dialer is there, just no icon in the app drawer or anywhere else. Can some one post the apk for me?

Try a factory reset. Others said it came back after they did one.
I'd prefer not to unless I have no other choice... But I found the apk in the systsm/app folder but it won't install. Anyone know how I can get it to install?

After looking at both mine and my wife's e3d it seems like that's the way its supposed to be. Neither of ours has the phone icon in the app drawer either. I guess htc just assumes everyone uses their launcher with the giant FN phone button.

You can't the personalize menu as far as I know is part of sense and that ROM is desensed. If you want that control use gingertheory.
The shortcuts are a mishap and not even supposed to be there. Everytime I get rid of them, they come back. Lol

I uninstalled Mail and now the 2nd shortcut from the left is empty. Was hoping I could fill it with Maps LOL at least that didn't break it.

I was curious if there is a way to change lock screens? The fascinate had a puzzle piece that I like I have seen ones that are the weather. Just curious if there are ways to port these if its worth it and so on. Thank you for your time

I wish I could find the puzzle lock one. The only thing I've found is an app called "Widget Locker" it allows you to customize your lockscreen and make it whatever you'd like. I got the HTC Sense lock screen( the cool looking one that you drag down)

it doesn't constantly run like you're thinking. there is little to no change in battery usage.
I'm running NeoMax right now. Is there a way to stop app icons from automatically being added to the homescreen when I download and install them?

Go to Play Store and go into your settings. Uncheck "Auto-add widgets".
