Not only will you get more internal memory to use, but you won't have a UI that sucks up 75% of the RAM either (although I like Sense, it annoys me how much memory it sucks up to run).

Better start bugging HTC about kernel source. Until we have kernel source, getting the EVO 3D to run CM will be an uphill battle. While you're asking about kernel source, be sure to ask them about that bootloader!

What else are you going to use the RAM for? Just keep 750Mb free for no use at all.
I agree with internal memory being bigger, but you will still need to run firerat on it to be able to use the extra space for data.

I was under the impression that the manufacturers were required to release the kernel source within 90 days of the device release if they use Android. I may be wrong, though.
