Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have been using an SNES emulator yet. N64oid is cool for N64 but I think SNES games are better suited to mobile gaming (less buttons, more simple graphics) Ideally, I'd like to have an emulator that I could set up the 4 circle buttons as A,B,X and Y and the camera shutter button as R and vol up as L. Any suggestions?
If you like N64oid, why not use SNESoid?
SNES9X is the only other option really other then SNESoid. But I like all of the "oid" emulators the best.
SNESoid seems to have disappeared from the market :-/

Yeah, they run fine on my HeroC
scummVM works perfectly as long as you have a good aim picking text
I'm running both 64oid & snesoid on my Uk flipout. 64oid has some sound issues but most roms run ok (using setcpu to boost gaming). Snesoid also has some sound issues but on the whole both run fairly well ...
Lets not forget that both of these emulators & others are still "work in progress" so we can expect some significant improvements in rom execution & hardware compatibilty in the future...

Peace...

Which games did you try on the N64oid? It will be great if you try Zelda OoT.
i tried psx4droid but the only game i can get to run smooth enuff to play
is yu-gi-oh forbidden memories
sound gets destroyed
animations get abit choppy
I use NESoid to play:
Mario
Krion Conquest
Felix the Cat
Kirby's Adventure
all of those work fine, with a less than occasional audio stutter.
as for the input settings:
im using up, down, left, right with the Dpad
the A-button is J and the B-button is H
return/enter is my start and delete/backspace is my select
I played fpse it's a psx emulator and it worked pretty well, I was playing final fantasy 8 on that emulator, the downpoint was that the screen is a little bit too small for that... gameboid works perfectly

snes9x play smoothly!
Hi,
I installed today the Multitouch mod and try to play mario on the GBA emulator
but thats not possible because the Delay is too High ~200-300ms
Can i fix that?
Buy a wiimote and download the wiimote bluetooth app from the market. That's your best bet.
Sent from my X10i using XDA app
FreeX10 2.2 Beta3
Is anyone using the Wiimote then? If so which emulators would you suggest? I've heard somewhere that the Wiimote works on X10.
I use volume up for Y button, and FOCUS for B button, and I just beat bowser, so its possible without a wiimote
is there no other way to speed up the device?
Thanks for the alternative still which game emulator do you think is preferable?
Wiimote works great with Nesoid, Snesoid, and Gensoid
At the moment I have Tiger NES and SNES emulators and it the wiimote didn't work properly.
FPse works great with the wiimote..it is by far the best playstation emulator! The wiimote app is called wiimote controller..
Go download Shrek Go Kart HD,same **** as mario kart lol
Hi guys - just wondering if any of you have tried any emulators on you Mini Pro?
And if you have.. what was your experience?
videogames consoles emulators?
(with the physichal keyboard you can press all the buttons at the same time and it works in all the emulators that i've installed. i'm currently using CM7.1.0 - FXP043)
I've tried/How works:
-fpse 0.10.58/ works fine, it is very quick and sound is great, i've don't see frames problems in games, but the graphics aren't so good.
-gameboid 2.4.7, gbcoid 1.8.6, nesoid 2.5, snesoid 2.2.4 & tiger arcade 2.2.0/ all these emulators are running perfectly. (sound video and physicals buttons works with no problem.)
-n64oid 2.4.1/ works fine, but it seems that the diagonals combo buttons don't work :B

I can confirm that. All emulators run smoother than they did on my optimus speed :O
i've just upgraded the fpse to 0.10.59, and the graphics and screen size are really good!
Has anyone tried to run emulators on the stock firmware?

Im running stock firmware. its an emulator related issue, they dont support all games.
So far i tried (working):
Mario kart
Mission impossible
goldeneye (impossible to play though, needs to many buttons xD)
international superstar soccer deluxe (some minor texture issues, works though)
crash bandicoot (60 fps!!!)
lylat wars <3
mario party 3
Ok, so I've taken a risk and purchased fpse (I know it's available via other sources, but meh).
However, I can't seem to get the hardware keyboard working propery - has anyone had similar problems?

Have you used FPse using the hardware buttons?
EDIT!
I've since worked out how to solve this - I disabled the harware buttons in the FPSE settings and then set them - and then enabled it once more.
That seems to do it.
gameboid 2.4.7 is the only emulator i using now =) running smooth and able to save the data anytime.

Hello guys,
Is there any emulators i can use on my G5 to play some classic games like the old Pokemon, Mario, Sonic, Golden Axe etc? If so where can i find them?
Thank you
Pretty sure it works for most android phones
> Market
> Search (Emulators) should show a bunch of systems people have made for our phones.
> Roms, either find Rom Gripper or search the net for roms.
Hope that helps.

Thank you so much!
Searching the name of the game then ROM should work like "Pokemon Emerald ROM" or the console then ROM like "GBA ROMs" that should work well or http://www.romfind.com/ to search for ROMs.
hey i download the roms from here http://www.emuparadise.me/ and i found all i was looking for

I got a few from slideme.org from a developer named yongzh. Here's his page:
https://slideme.org/user/yongzh
I've tested all of the emulators except for N64oid. They all run very smoothly. It's even better when you use the Wii classic controller or a Sixaxis.
I also tried the two Playstation emulators on the Android Market - FPse and PSX4Droid. Both run slow depending on the game, but FPse is better. The only game I tried was Tombi, which was playable, but is overall slow.

Depends on the device as well.
FPse runs about 50-61 fps on my droid incredible.
Any game and all I have played have caused no slowness.
It's hard to play since I only have a few HW buttons and multi-touch registers only two touchs. A third touch is canceled out.
N64oid runs.. decent... Around 10-20 fps. Depends on the games too, Zelda runs kinda smooth but the sound crackle kills it.
Mario party is merely unplayable and Mario64 is super smooth.

The emulators I use for Gameboy Advance are Gameboid or Tiger GBA emulator. For Gameboy Color check out GBCdroid or Tiger GBC emulator. I would also recommend checking out the other great Tiger Emulators that allow you to play anything SNES to PS1 games. If your a N64 fan I would recommend N64oid.

I think GBC.emu is a good emulator for android if you could spare some dollars to buy it from play store. It is a good Gameboy color emulator.
In case of Game boy advanced you could go with GBA.emu bot are availabale in playstore.

Thanks for this as well - checking them out now!
Guys, is there any GBC emulator just like MyBoy! for GBA?
I contacted Fast Emulator (MyBoy! producers) and they me that they weren't going to launch a GBC emulator because they are now working in aNDS emulator (too bad, I don't think my dual core Gnex is able to run a NDS emulator at 100%).
Well, do you know any emulator with the same features from another developer?
Specs:
No linear filtering (or option to disable it)
Key Map Button to enable speed
Supports at least x4 speed
Has Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection
We can change the touch keys location
Anything with those features would be perfect, is there anything alike?
Though a bit pricy, Drastic is a great DS emulator and has never failed me. Been playing pokemon white 2 on it without a hitch!
Hi guyz ! Is there any DS emulator anyway?
Thanks for help !
