Hi
Can I add Xperia arc setting's Pic ( blue ) to SGS2 setting?
I mean background pic
in SGS2 the background of Setting and contact is black. I like the one in Xperia arc it looks great.
Is there any rom like xperia arc?
Thank you

I would also like to know if it's possible to get this.
Yep, this is an easy one....buy a frigging xperia arc, and stop cluttering up the developers section with moronic requests.

Why do you call this moronic requests?
This is moronic reply.
We want to add something new for SGS2

Probably because this thread doesn't belong to development section.
To accomplis this, as a non-developer, I believe you would have to hack into the settings APK file to be able to skin it. There is no built-in way to add a background to the settings menu, or create transparency to an underlying layer.
you may write " Can i write this thread in this forum?"
It certainly looks much much better than the all black all boring standard settings menus. I wish there was a way to do this.
black menus is boring.
if any one can add this to any rom, I think it well looks much better.

I feel slow by asking if this was similar to the iphone rotation, you even showed what you meant by smooth progress. But would anyone know if there was a mod of some sort to make the rotation of the screen orientation solid and smooth rather than a snap to the landscape or vice versus

Sounds good that would be pretty cool or even change the image for folders as well? now that would be interesting, but prob a bit more difficult.

He he i saw that thread...
But is not about looks, its more about showing updates that developers hasn't put on their ROMs yet, I loved the way trebuchet launcher looks and feels, but was lacking customization...
And found updated versions for it and also for UI...
Hope to save someone the time I spent looking for this...
Looks fab. How did you do it?

The screenshots thread is exactly what this is for. Everyone posting there has customized ROM's in some way to personalize, and tell people what/how they did it there.

We must have different definitions of pimped out... looks a lot like stock CM9 to me.
Oh, BTW, there was no need for this thread.

Hey Jorgluis86. Feel free to post screenshots in the Screenshots thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24295316
If you know there are cool mods that haven't been shared (as you suggested) then please share them in their own threads in the General or Themes/Apps lounges. Thanks man!
Hi guys.
Don't know if someone is also interested on this, and if some else would attent this request. Anyway, I'm trying.
The idea is having a classic stock system UI skin.

If isn't possible to get this for the whole UI, at least the status bar would be cool. I've always loved it.
Thanks in advance!

take froyo sysUI, take desired sysUI to mod.
replace replace some png's and maybe edit some xml's...
I'd do it, but I'm gonna be busy the next few days :-/

U should know.. in froyo we don't have systemui.apk! U should decompile and edit framework-res.apk

This looks simple enough, the only real challenge would be getting the icons. As long as we have those, this statusbar can be made in a flash.

framework-res contains all the icons.
hey guys I just wanna share this marvelous app in our section. I've tried it in my X8 running GingerDX, and it works perfectly ! it has like <10MB RAM usage, I think that is pretty low for an app like this.
