I went into my local shop today, and they have them in, but they are only selling them on contract im afraid.
I bought Atrix 4g from ebay today i received it but its locked its under AT&T and I am in India.. I want to unlock it.. Can anyone please tell what method is trusted one..

I used cellunlock.net with the promotional code of android50 to get 50% off... Mine worked and got the code in a few days.

Hey guys I'm seriously considering purchasing it but I live in India but that can be taken care of as the US mail forwarding service I use also has a BuyForMe sub-service where they buy the product for me... but in this case since at&t requires a SSN for the compulsory cancel-anytime data plan with the no-contract offering of this tablet, I'm having a tough time getting my hands on this awesome-elegant HTC
tab. So my questions are-
1) Will the developer community at any point in time work on getting it SIM unlocked? Or is it better to wait for a version that will not be bound to AT&T?
2) If any of my dear fellow members will be so kind so as help me somehow (read: above) with getting my hands on this beauty? Can you use a friends' SSN to buy a thing for yourself?

The service at www.myusabox.com provides you with a US address to where you can send your shipments. Unfortunately since at&t requires a Social Security Number that only US residents have, they won't be able to buy it for me... which is another of their service where they will buy the product for you.. with a 10% commission of the product's cost...
I recently just visited a site that had the UNLOCKED jetstream for preorder... Just google it... You probably will be able to get the tablet from there.

Guys is there any plans available for Galaxy S II (1.5Ghz model) with pay as you go contract as opposed to minimum monthly billing contract anywhere across US? Plan to get it network unlocked and use it in India.

Google straight talk. Cheap pay as you go no contract.
You can network unlock your phone with software as long as your phone is rooted. Although I presume yours is not.

Well ASDA UK have them for £200... Expansys have it for £250 and will post to US I think.... if you have someone in UK who can get you one. Not sure about Network issues

Hyy pranam if u in mumbai den u can get for 21000 rs. U wont get cheaper then this and even if u r going with international shipping u will end up spending more coz of taxes over here. So my advice buy it from india itself.
