Not possible, if only some one could compile the gtalk jni lib withoup vfp and neon.

As 4silvertooth said, its not possible, but you can try installing VTOK from the market as an alternative... It works ok for audio calling to gtalk users, but videocall still buggy

Groove IP allows you to use your gtalk account to make voip calls.

Hello Today i rooted my device and i see over at modaco there was a apk for install video calls on talk with android 2.3.3 and i tried to indtall it and now i have video calling on talk with mini pro....

I'd love to try but the official update isn't far away and I think to root the sk17i you will need to unlock the bootloader which in turn disables DRM content (affects track ID which I use often).
I have installed it in my device and it works pefectly. Tq.

I think if the arc s has front camera, if should also work on that device

There's a new Google Talk (v1.3) floating around which supports Video and Voice calling. I tried the file in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056793&page=82 but it isn't flashing on our phone.
So does anyone know of any version which does work on our device?

Sonygenmod 1.2 Final
I installed skype from market on the stock rom and had Video calls. SO far so good.
The same skype backup in moded rom (King Cobra / Leeroid) and I only have voice calls.
I tried downloading and installing again from market buit no joy, no video calls.
It seems skype mabe can't access the front camera in moded roms.
KingCobra and Leeroid both have the Amaze Camera app instead of the standard camera, could this be the problem?
Does anybody have any clues?
If you go into the settings in the Skype app there is a checkbox to enable video calls

none, nothing of the sort because skype doesnt recognise the front camera...I#m sure its because the standard camera app has been replaced with Amaze

that's such a good rom.
I don't see any reason for a ROM to replace the Stock Camera app. It's so good.

No. Of all android phones, only samsung phone with its stock rom had the ability to do videocall not using internet data connection like those on old nokia or sony dumbphone.

It wont work... Android natively does not supports UMTS Video Calls...

mini pro and live walkman supports video call...
ATM mini pro supports video calls though skype..
by any chance can't the developers do some hacks to the stock rom/or make a customized rom/kernel (i doubt the current customized roms/kernels don't have that feature) to add native video calling capability?
