Hi,
Does anyone know if it is possible to tweak something to add an extra column and row of icons to the home screen without switching launchers. I'm on the stock jelly bean s3 firmware. CM10 has the option to do this in settings but stock is actually faster and ranks a lot higher on quadrant so don't want to change.

Here for the stock launcher: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1848582&highlight=mod
PS: since this is is a question you should have ask in the Q & A section.
Thanks, and will remember that in future, haven't asked a question before.

Hey Guyz.. i have L9 P765 i'd like to reduce the icon size on the Optimus UI on the home screen, I am using stock ICS rom no JB update yet.
I know that by using any launcher i can increase or decrease the icon size but i wanna know, Is there any way that i'll be able to reduce the icon size without using any launcher.
If you guyz know any way of doing this then please share it...
Thanks in advance.....
I tried messing around with Handcent, Go Sms Pro and Textra and pics come in at the most, 30kb. If anyone knows how to increase the sizes for the CM app for 4.3 (same as 4.2.2?) it would be greatly appreciated.
can anyone tell me if I can change the font size ONLY in the 'Messaging' app? I'm using CM10.0 on a Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate SGH-i577.
I'd like to keep the current LCD density, and 'Font Size' and all that, yet change (increase) the font size JUST for the Messaging app.
is this possible?
(I keep reading about "pinch to zoom" within messaging, but it appears that doesn't apply to Cyanogenmod 10.0, or 4.1.x...)
related: I only upgraded this phone a week ago to Cyanogenmod 10.0 - but I see that a variation of 10.2 is available now for the Galaxy Exhilarate- should I just upgrade to that?
if that would solve the Messaging font-size concern, and still allow choices of base LCD Density and still be completely and totally stable (the most important thing to me) then I'd go for it..

Actually Im using an optimus G pro, but i think it is the same for all android device
My rom probably screwed the MMI layout size, hence i cant see most of the option. Is there any editing software like SQLeditor or something similar to change the layout size?
