I thought i'd try out my bluetooth mouse with my flyer this morning ....
... There is NO cursor it just moves through the menus when I move the mouse... and since my mouse is 300dpi if i move it an inch it will scroll through 300 items... making a mouse with the flyer completly pointless!
Has anyone else had this issue or have a fix to actually get a cursor working on the screen?
Thanks
Kris

Hi all,
I don't think this is posted elsewhere but my apologies if I'm double posting.
I've got a cheap Speedlink bluetooth mouse from eBay and it works fine with a PC; it pairs up nicely with my Desire HD (running RCMix3d Runny v1.3 ROM) too.
Oddly however, the icon in the 'bluetooth settings' page is not of a mouse, it's an icon of a keyboard.
Pair it up and there's no mouse pointer; move the mouse to the right and the homescreen moves to the next screen - left and you go to the left screen.
Seems my mouse is recognised as a keyboard, oddly enough only emulating the arrow keys. When running Cyanogen 7, it was recognised as a mouse - so what's different here?
Is there anyway of jimmying Android to recognise my mouse as a mouse and not a keyboard?
Problem solved?
Problem solved?
I have some too ^(
Will Gyration's mouse work on a g-tablet running Vegan-Tab Gingerbread 7.0.0? When I plug it into the usb port a mouse pointer appears, but it only moves horizontally at the top of the screen. Scroll wheel highlights screen icons but clicking doesn't open them.
I'm getting ready to play streaming sports video (espn, fox soccer) on my tv using the dock's hdmi port so using my Gyration mouse from the couch would be great. Thanks for any help.
I searched the forums but only found thread on Gyration keyboard, not mouse.
Re: Gyration Air Mouse with Vegan Tab Gingerbread
Clarification: While the boot screen says my version of Vegan Tab is 7.0.0, it is in fact VEGAn-GE-7.1.0-smb_a1002-BL-1.1. Which may explain why my g-tablet detected the mouse in the first place. Sorry for any confusion.
1: if i used a usb hub and had a bluetooth keyboard (assuming i need an adapter that would come with it) and a bluetooth mouse (adapter again) Would they both work?
Im currently got my prime hooked up to my HDTV and i use the TV settings to do splite screen so i can play wii/xbox/ps3 at the same time. but i dont want to have to get get up just to type
2: depending on the answer to question 1. How do i get the onscreen keyboard to come up when the keyboard dock is plugged in. i know it doesnt make sense but as i explain in question 1 it's plugged into my TV so getting up type is looooooong

1: The tf201 has bluetooth built in, so shouldn't need a bluetooth adapter to use a bluetooth mouse and keyboard.
2: To pull up the onscreen keyboard with the keyboard dock... When typing in a text field, a little keyboard icon will show left of the clock in the notifications bar... Click this, and a settings popup will appear. At the top of the popup, it'll say "Use physical keyboard", click it to off and the onscreen keyboard will show whenever you select a text field.

The instructions on your particular bluetooth keyboard and mouse should include the pairing instructions. To get to the bluetooth settings on your prime, it's under wireless in settings. Turn on your prime's bluetooth and follow the directions for pairing given by your keyboard and mouse manuals.

Hi to everyone:
First of all sorry for my spelling, i'm from Argentina and my english isn't the best.
I have a kii pro tv-box, and i also use my old atrix as a tvbox.
Most of the android apps aren't made for TV so the navigation is optimized to touch-screens
In the 2 cases, i can't use the swipe function with me IR Remotes. My 2 remotes have a mouse function but you cannot move and press at the same time.
The only solution is to have a mouse connected and drag with the button pressed.
But, i think is too much to have a mouse and a IR controller connected just for achieve one gesture.
So, anyone knows if is there an app or script or some way to map the swipe gestures (up,down, left right) to some IR buttons
Thanks in advance
Regards
No clue about an app but a simple wireless keyboar with touchpad only costs a few bucks.
You can also use a normal keyboard and mouse, wired or wireless.

Thanks for your answer!
I know about that possibilites. But i use it my bedroom so i thinkthat's a lot of artifacts for a bed.
Also, my tv-box comes with an IR remote with an internal IR receiver, so putting another thing is like just disable that accessory because i cannot use it in any other thing
So, resuming, i know about the keyboard with a touchpad alternative, i just want to know if there is a possiblity to use just the IR remote for that gesture
