How'd you get boot loop? Try taking battery out and plugging in via AC power?

What did you do to get the boot loop? Did you flash a sbf, attempt root, attempt sideload enabling?..........................
<edit> Wait...........nevermind.............this was second thread you posted within 30 minutes of your first thread with the exact same question in this forum, but a different title.!

I have a photon with ALIEN ROM+rooted Using AIO method with CWM installed.
I tried to update my photon running using RSD lite with "1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-198_7-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf".
.After completing 75% it failed with the message "failed flashing process.Phone".
After wards I tried "1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf". Still the flashing process fails at nearly 75 %.
I am using RSDLite 5.5 version on windows XP.
What should be done next???How can I check the SBF I downloaded is not corrupt?
Is there any method I can recover my device from this soft brick state???
thanks in advance
I was able to flash 154 successfully
I had a problem last night it would stop at creating image... I later reallized its because I had no space left on my C:. Image file is pretty big when uncompressed.
were you able to flash stock 154???
The failed to boot RSD 2 is generally cause you messed up some place along the line, I've done it a couple times. And I was able to flash the 198 update afterwords and the 154 as well with no issues.
Try going to Yay's thread and download the 198_7 build and flash that. It worked on my phone, so the files shouldn't be corrupt.
I had this happen a couple times..
1) Make sure your phone is charged all the way up
2) Plug your phone into the back of the computer
3) If you used titanium backup to delete something and can't get it back, I'd factory reset/wipe and let the phone update itself,
4) or when you get to stock, flash the latest SBF through RSD again and it SHOULD work
Thank you All. The problem was USB port of my laptop.Changed to another port and it went smoothly
Good deal. Glad that helpes out.

well i was wondering if you guys can help me out... my phone reboot all of a sudden and now says "fail to boot 4 starting rsd mode battery to low to flash"... but i have it connect on power socket ... when i connect to usb only white led shows up... if any body can help me thanks!!!
Try plugging it in to the wall socket and leaving it to charge. I had my phone in moto logo loop and it powers on when you plug it in, but after a few hours it was able to flash, even though there is no sign it is charging

So I attemptted to unlock my bootloader for the Atrix, 2.3.4, and it was already rooted. I was using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1182871 and using the following video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6a0BWquqAc.
Now I was at the screen where it said that the Boot Failed and I took out my battery and put it back in. Now I am stuck on this screen.
SVF:105:1:2
Failed to boot 0x1000
PwrReason: PWT_KEY_PRESS
Starting Fastboot Protocol Support
It has been on this screen for a while now and I am very confused on what to do and how to do it. Any Answers? Did I brick my phone? How do I unbrick? I have tried to take out the battery and did a lot of combinations but nothing is working. I'm sorry, I am a noob at this. Thanks, any help would be appreciated
So instead now I am able to choose between the modes (Recovery, Fastboot etc.) but now when I try to go into fastboot mode it says my battery is too low. It also won't charge at all. Would using someone else's Atrix battery work?
yes another battery would work no prob and i used same method to unlock. mine froze rite after and couldnt run the fix. pulled battery for 30+ seconds and was able to run the fix. another option is to find an external charger
Backstory: In October, I ordered my LG Optimus T from T-Mobile refurbished. Shortly afterward, I rooted it, flashed CWM and then installed void. #forever. After Google announced ICS, I did some research but couldn't find any CM9/ICS ROMs for P50*. I kept searching and eventually found Lupohirp's, which I flashed and used for a while. This eventually morphed into Hephappy's CM9, which I have used until about 3 days ago. His ROM reached its final version recently. I tried flashing it, but ran into a bit of a problem.
My problem: From inside the CWM app, I initiated a backup, like I always do before flashing. The phone shut down and started booting but never made it past the LG logo. After about 10 minutes, I got impatient and pulled the battery. I was planning on trying the backup again. However, I have not been able to get it to boot past the LG logo. If I have it plugged in, it will just sit at the LG logo forever (I tried leaving it this way for over 36 hours, but nothing happened). If I don't plug it in, it will turn on to the LG logo but turn off a few seconds later. I can then start it again but it stays on for shorter. I can do it again for even shorter, and so forth until it won't turn on at all. I have tried booting, both plugged in and unplugged, with every imaginable combination of buttons, cards, and having the battery in or out that I can think of and it still won't work. I can get it to boot into emergency mode (under the same conditions as regular boots), but that's for the most part useless to me. I have a feeling I could restore it to stock using KDZ but it seems like it would be a lot of work rerooting, then reflashing, then trying to recreate all of my data. My hope is that someone out there in XDAland has an idea on how to fix this.
Thanks in advance!

explains that not quite understand. want to know how to enter into recovery?

I know how to put my phone into recovery but it won't get past the LG logo, no matter what I try. I've tried Vol Up or Down + any of the 4 buttons + Power and still nothing.
Thanks anyway
if the problem is on the phone boot you have to do the following en enters recovery after format boot and mount and format system. CM9 install the rom again. when you finish the installation of the rom does reboot and enjoy.

I don't mean to sound stupid (but I probably will anyway), but how would I format it? Also, will I lose everything?
Thanks

lol
lol the point is he cant enter recovery
i have a lg p509 but i have none of those problems...
try using kdz and reflashing original 2.2 then reflashing cwm on
remember to backup ur sd card
if you get to recovery
go to mounts then you will see format system 3rd to last
im using cwm touch recovery
do as I am saying that you will not miss anything. makes only format boot and system format. You can be assured that not lose anything you have on your phone.

I can't get into recovery to do that, pt
KDZ if you use you will erase all data you have on your phone

I guess that's all I can do then. Thanks for all your help, both of you
loads while in power key and volume down key home keeps the keys pressed until the menu.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
What was that supposed to do?
recovery
once if you get into recovery then you can mount usb to a computer copy ur sd card contents make a backup etc
then you can format anything without any risk'
one warning. once you format boot do not reboot until you flash another boot img or ur phone might be bricked forever
if we do not have root on your phone uses the superoneclick. you enter emergency mode that recognizes the pc.

But how do I get into recovery mode?
Power / vol. down and home. is always the pressure until you see the recovery menu.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda premium
60 seconds with all 3 pressed, still just the LG logo
do so press power and vol down for 10 seconds

Hi Guys,
So during an attempt to flash CM9, I flashed a kernel with CWM recovery onto an existing 4.0.4 rom with an unlocked bootloader, but no root. My phone was then stuck at CWM, and wouldn't go into the OS. So i went to download a new rom to re-flash it, and went to bed.
Overnight, I left my phone on the charger, but I don't believe it was actually charging, there was no indicator light, and when I woke up, it appears my phone is battery dead, as such it won't boot up, it won't charge, so I can't boot into flash mode to flash a new rom.
I have no idea what to do, is it possible to force this battery to charge via ADB or something? Do I have any options? I'd really appreciate any advice.
You need someone with same phone, swap the batteries, then flash your phone.

My droid X2 stuck at the M logo with "starting RSD protocol support" on top. I can get to recovery or boot up. I try couple of SBF and it still stuck there.
When I SBF, it goes through and say PASS but it still won't boot up and stuck and the M logo.
Any solutions?
Mine use to loop the droid eyeball sometimes after RSD but it was telling me to manually reboot the phone so I battery pull, put back, get into recovery, wipe data and cache, reboot and its fine. See of that does it?

Have you tried just pulling the battery and then Let it set for a few minutes.
I've had my SFB hang sometimes.
Also this is in. The wrong section

This is the wrong forum to be posting in. You should have had this in the General Section or in Q&A.
SBF'ing and then wiping data and cache is the only way to get out of that. If you can get into RSD, then you should have no problems resetting your phone.
your best bet to fix this is to pull battery, go into android recovery, wipe data/cache and reboot; and if that doesnt work then throw the phone out the window and get a better phone
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums, not Development forums.
Thread moved.
I can't even get to recovery, I pull the battery and wait for couple hours and try again. it still stuck on the logo.

Not our custom BSR, stock Android Recovery. Hold the Volume Down + Power Button until "Fastboot" shows up. Then use the Volume Down key to go to Android Recovery. Once the picture in the stock recovery shows up, press both Volume Buttons at the same time. Wipe Data and Cache there.
