I saw that a lot of people out there would like a stock,stable,fast and rooted ROM, so i decided to make one on my own, keeping it as much as stock as possible.This is my first SGS2 ROM (got the device for 3 days ago), coming from HTC Desire which i have always developed my own ROMs.Be patient and I do really want to help this community to grow and find the best for this incredible peace of engineering called Samsung Galaxy S II.Suggestions are always welcome.

Features:
-Base: XWKF3.
-Kernel: CF-Root-SGS2_XW_XEU_KE2-v4.0-CWM4.(Thanx ChainFire)
-Deodexed,Zipaligned and Signed.
-Some extra tweaks for speed and memory.
-Camera tweak.
-Everything from Samsung is still there.
-Gtalk 1.3 with video
-Native android SIP stack for Wifi AND 3G calls
-No themes (as I said, I want it stock).
-The only change is startup wallpaper.
-CRT animation. "Sorry for that guys,but u can disable it anyways"
-Desktop as Browsers UA as default. "Ops, sorry for that too, but i said i would do".

How you Install it:

-Download and copy the .ZIP file onto your SD or Phone.
-Restart device in CWM (Vol up + Home + power)
-Backup your old Rom
-Wipe data + cache (All your data will be gone)(V0.2 itself will wipe your data)
-Choose "Install Zip from SD card"
-Browse the .ZIP file and install it.
-Boot device and ENJOY.
-I'm not responsible for your mistakes you should know what you are doing.
**I do really recommend the use of Tegrak Overclock**Buy it from Market.
-I do play a lot and we know that some games like (Asphalt 6) are made to not use the whole GPUs power , it means lower FPS.But at the same time I want a longer battery life the screens to move smoothly and i don't want the device to overheat, so what I did is.
-Install Tegrak Overclock
-Load the modules
-Go to GPU optmization and change values to:
-267 - 975 and 200 - 950, if it works for me should work for you too.

You can actually use the Kernel you think fits better,at least for now when all the Roms out there are based on official samsung bases and so are the kernels.When I first excrated the Base, a KF1 kernel came together, but i decided that this one just works better.I'm gonna start doing a research about kernels, cause i don't think any of those out there matchs my expectations 100%.

Just the latest Nordic base.If u ask me if this Rom is better than the others ? I would answer that all the Roms out there are pretty much the same, have tried all of them.But this is stock and has no bugs that i have found.

So Far ive been running it since last nite and its running smooth. Everything is working good and i noticed browser lag is gone compared to other roms. Although Extended power options would be nice

Thanx man, good to hear that. I'm now working on a update with (crt,green status icons,extended power option and a few more tweaks).Hope to be ready with everything tonight.As i said before, gonna try to keep as closest as possible to stock.Could change collors and fonts and everything in this ROM, but i'm not gonna do that.

you spelt coming wrong; anyway nice rom, i like the idea though ill be sticking to a barebones ROM (cognition) and ill switch to CM7 when its done

nice job.. for now only thing is having little bit laggy when playing HD games..
but that's not a big deal..other than very stable..no any FCs,no WIFI issues
coming from the original Power_Rom...flashing right now will give my feed back after some testing.
Edit: working amazingly. No fcs, no reboots, no wifi issues, really fast, and seems rock solid. Keep up the great work. BTW just flashed over without a factory reset, just cleared stated datas..

just my opinion here..
I think it'll be better that you flash the stock olleh rom 1st, then you can just go ahead flash this rom without amss and dsp1...
that just make it more simple, clean & safe...

I was thinking 'bout this rom since I've found sod experiences in almost other custom roms there....
now you have this great idea & you have done this "near to stock" rom, so every streakers here (with bugs problem in customs) should be happy
I think it'll be more fun if you add more themes then split them to each parts... so streakers here can choose what theme they will use...

I think 3d games lag because kernel is no OC
and this Tom is focused on removing bugs and keep it close to stock
if you want some perf try flashing power_mod for more perf

I think the battery is bad
1 hour standby battery lost 10%
yeah i did it perf_power works fine..but its getting reducing my battery quickly..
so any chance of using batterycharger script to this??
and for the records Perf_battery has a some sort of WIFI issue..

did you add fm_hcitool to system/xbin?? great cz everytime i flashed a new rom i had to replace that file..

1. how about "themanii's warning"?
2. can i cook the framework & system base from the original olleh's framework & system? will the ics's taste & effect will loose? because I dont think it'll work if I cook from this rom's framework & system.
3. I dont see the "bootanimation" file in media as I've always found in other, give me some advise please... or does it mean this rom is without "bootanimation"?
btw, I can see the "tweak" in this rom, very nice my friend I just no doubt at all about your "tweaking value" must be great tweaking in this rom.

Gkernels is a project based on the 4.05 Dell source, is it fine to used in this base olleh rom?

I Mixed Rayonium ROM and JJ Doctor's ROM - Deleted something and added some others.
Solved Data problem
Phonebook changed ( performance and ( a bug removed ))
Gallery changed ( performance and more zoom ) ( Right upside changes gallery style )
Added spare parts ( some usefull settings ) ( Auto Brightnes , wifi sleeping etc. )

1--First Download the ROM and copy to your SD card Main directory
2--If you want to use the kernel i say Flash the kernel you download ( if you already have don't need to open fastboot screen)

Sorry, but this is not developing, it's not even modding. Everybody can do these changes in 3mins using any root explorer + Play Store.

I think OP is in learning phase... Everyone starts with those little mods and gradually gets better and makes new inventions... None is born developer...
Do you even realize that he might have spent hours of trial and error ?...
During this time he might have flashed the ROM atleast 10 times to make sure it looks good and attractive so that users can enjoy a new thing...
All washed by your unthankful comment more like a slap...
Anyway, mate it's a sharing community, share with others and be thankful for anything new you get...

My friend maybe you didn't flash a suitable Kernel ?
Did you use the Kernel i put there Aire Kernel ?
Aire has ICS and GB Kernels maybe you flashed wrong one ? Flash the one i gave link.. I tested many times.. There can't be problem about that..
YOu can flash Kernels by flash tools ..
In forum there is already a topic about flashing kernel. But i say fastly. Phone - settings - Applications - Developing - USB Debugging active then
Download flash tools - open it - connect your phone by usb - Click flash - fastboot mode - left upside have restart Fastboot mode and then see the phone light get blue and click flash kernel and choose the kernel you donwload and when you see flashed it s ok ...

First of all, welcome to XDA.
Now, i recommend to you give more presentation to your OP, i know that you have a link to the screenshots and downloads but it's better if you have all the information on the thread. Also, the details of how it's different from CM9 would be better if are included on the OP too.

Look man, I understand this is your first ROM. Now, as you already know, we have CM9, the only changes you made are de-bloating the rom. But, we can all already do that using Titanium Backup, I'd say you gotta add something to this ROM to attract users. Don't get me wrong, you've done a great job. I mean, I can't even do what you did. But all the same, these people won't try out the ROM unless they find something new or better in it.
Looking forward to something better from you. I know you got the potential.
If it was a suggestion you wanted, if you make a CM10 ROM, I'll definitely try it!

I mean, thank you have written. I was thinking is I think the only cm10 development is still very immature and 1-2 months you will have a usable condition.

This ROM is based on badadroid v0.2. Huge thanks to all who work on badadroid project (Rebellos, Volk204...).
Please take a look to original thread.
This my first attempt in making custom rom. It's very basic, and there are only few changes between original.
But maybe we could work together and you can teach me how to do a better one
-Added this tweak for better RAM management and performance.
-Removed tons of unnecessary apps, ringtones or wallpapers. Now rom is about 100MB zipped.
-Added market in native. Could be a solution for some people having trouble with it.
-Replaced stock Trebuchet launcher by Apex launcher which is lighter.
Quadrant Benchmark : about 2000
Free RAM : about 100MB
Few things I would like to do but I don't know how to do :
-Remove Camera and Video recording to save RAM.
-Put in native the 1.4Ghz overclock. (build.prop ?)
-Having a small GPU overclock.
-Change fonts. Have lighter fonts. (Does it free RAM?)
-Other things I will add later when it through my mind.

To install just flash it through recovery.You need to have flashed the badadroid bootfiles through Multiloader (they are called "BOOTFILES_xxxx" and "armlinux_boot_xxxx"). To download them have a look to badadroid thread.
I advice you to perform an android "hard reset" before installing it through recovery.
To perform android hard reset go in recovery (Volume up + end_call + call). Then select "wipe Data/factory reset". Select YES. It never happened to me that it hurts bada.
Tested on WAVE II. If you have tested it with Wave I and it worked please tell me. Obsiously it should work with both

-To shut down Wave II you can press power button, and just after Volume button. Then you have access to the shutdown menu...

Thanks for your work, every ROM is hours spent in making something for others, which is great in terms of helping people and putting a brick for a better community.

Touchwiz takes more RAM I think...

Don't manage to fix it yet... Still the same issue... I will do step by step port, it will take more time but I will learn more about how android works.
But I found interesting things.
So my news :
-Slim rom.
-About zipped rom is about 90MB.
-Added slim Google Play.
-Added an other RAM tweak which is, I think, more efficient.
-Lots other of improvements.
-Removed useless files.
No ETA...
I'm working on a Wave II device so it will work on Wave II. It should also work on Wave I but I can't test.

your the man Soxix, hope you increase the RAM of rom CM10 v0.2 cause so many wave II people are waiting for that..
and plz fix the lock screen problem(if u can).. thx :good: :good: :good:
No fix from me for screen. I don't have enough knowledge and time for that. Rebellos and Volk are doing great job. Trust them

in the list go to number 268 & 269 and change the value from 10 to 15 press save and exit.
remove brightness slider

DOWNGRADE to KITKAT
EASIEST WAY TO REVERT TO KK
: Enable USB debugging reboot into recovery (in lollipop)
: WIPE:-- SYSTEM, DATA, CACHE, INTERNAL SD, DALVIK (dont reboot)
: battery out 3 button reboot into DOWNLOAD MODE (safe bet)
: odin 3.09 and install the kk tar file
and you'll be back at kitkat
So, just checking as you didn't say, is this Kitkat or the new Lollipop rom?
If anyone has gone to Lollipop there's a chance, if the bootloader was flashed,that they can't go back to 4.4.4 kitkat. It'll just result in bootloops until they reflash Lollipop...

Good find
Wow ! Finally somone has begun providing a Custom debloated ROM for 915G.
Can the OP give a list of what has been done to the original ROM i.e. softwares removed, tweaks etc... I am use to REVOLUTION style custom roms, smooth, fast, stable and tweaked for performance without being unstable. Thanks for providing this rom.
Looking forward to the develpments here.

this was a test build which happen to work very smooth so i decided to share it, didnt keep any record of what i removed
next build will be a bit more professional.

Yes, fully understand. I guess you will start giving them version numbers as you develop your custom Lollipop ROM.
It takes time to add tweaks and test them out. But in the end, it should just get better.
I pop over to the Note 4 thread every now and then and see what tweaks they are coming up with, as there are a lot more Note 4 users than Note 4 Edge users.
I will defintely be keeping and eye out here and will install your next ROM and give it a go.

yeah i was getting sick of no development of G and a laggy phone, guess it was an incentive to put some effort in.
at least now we are open to some of the tweaks available on xda. i'm not a dev but i will try my best.
by the way anyone getting f.c with stock front facing camera.

If you need a hand testing or whatever send me a message, glad to see something for the 'g' around here. I used the zip you linked to earlier @panjaby and my phone is snappier now.
And yes, im getting fc on front camera, ive cleared the camera apps data and reset but still no good. I did dirty flash over stock lollipop so that may be the issue.

Yep, was gonna mention it if no-one else did... I did a clean install, wonder if those with no problems did a dirty flash?
Gotta scroll through all the repliesas theat was answered but just got home from work and gotta be back there in less than 8 hours...
Also found the 3 minit battery mod by micky387 doesn't work in this rom but does in stock lollipop rom...

Yep, I went back and tried again. Found I'd installed the KK mod instead.
I seriously need some sleep. What a stupid thing to do..

yes got fc with front cam so reverted back to stock rooted...flashed it with cwm and right not i flashed twrp 2.8.1.1... not able to find the recovery u mentioned..if u could give me the link of twrp ur rom works with i shall install it again n see !!
