I did a little searching but couldn't find anything official or anything so im sorry if this is being asked alot.
I love the roms having the miui things like widgets, and apps such as music player, ,soi was wondering where i can get more of these miui things?
I think a dev was attempting to port over a ROM for the Vibrant but I didn't follow the thread enough to know the results. I agree though, I love the music app.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the M Flagship project in the Dev section is the closest you'll be getting to MIUI for now.
Actually a dev over in the i9000 forums named webstar1 has a miui port in progress. You can follow it in his ultimate rom thread. It should be near the last few pages.
I keep seeing these awesome themes that say jt's vanilla GD 8/2 release only. Can anyone tell me where I can find this version at. I have looked in the development section and did not see it. I'm currently on the 7/2 build and would love to flash some of those cool themes. Thanks.

The theme looks absolutely brilliant. I just ordered my Note tonight and the warehouse is relatively close to my home (guessing it will come around Friday or Saturday) and I'd absolutely love to put this theme on my phone.
I'm guessing there will be compatibility issues because of the different internals but I wasn't sure, so I asked here. Thanks for all help.

It would be great if we could use that, but no way we can yet. From what I hear the TPC ROM has some ICS theme stuff in it.

Well that's a shame. I read somewhere here on the forums that though Exynos is better in stock form, our S4 will be better when the development comes in full swing because Snapdragon is better for overclocking. I'll look to the positive on this then
Besides that, completely off the original topic, do you (or anyone else) think this link below of the ICS update applies to us i717 Noters as well?

Well, no one can be 100% positive when it comes to ATT and upgrades but the general consensus is that ICS is coming to the un branded international Note in March and Our i717 Note will get it whenever ATT gets through with it. Whenever that is??? Most people are hoping by the end of the year.
On a brighter Note, if you read the Development threads, it appears they're working on an AOKP version of ICS for our phone. So expect that ROM or one like it to come out sooner than the official update to ICS. So if you don't already know, start learning what you can about flashing ROM's.

That is a great theme. As previously stated, dobt that it will work. Doesn't hurt to try it. That's what NAND is for, right.

End of the year? That's a shame. I'm semi-new to the Android experience. I got my Nook Color in December so I can flash and do the basics, but that's it. Asides from that, I really hope that "March to May" estimate on the International Note was close.

Anyone know one of the guys that help compile cm7? Lets get a non-junked up version of gb on this beast

cyanogenmod does not support Galaxy Note I717 or N7000
Cyanogenmod does not support our device yet and probly won't til CM9 is released I would love to see CM7.2 running on our devices but sadly it looks as though that will never happen for the I717 if you have a N7000 there is a slim chance you may be able to get 7.2
according to CM's new project plan, the chances of getting official CM support is very high if someone can unoffficially port any CM version.
So if anyone can compile it unofficially, we might get the official support
i hope the i717 is somewhere in cm9's roadmap

yeah if i had to bet i would think so too... im just one of those super cm lovers. i cant count how many friends devices i flashed cm7 for them because it was just plain better than any rom ive used... so maybe impatient is the wrong word, more like obsessed flashaholic haha

I saw that were getting a cm9 dev? or port or whatever, and I was wondering if after cm9 comes miui? cuz i remember on the e4gt dev section we got like miui and cm7 at the exact same time and was hoping that someone knew lol.

Miui and CM are developed completely independently. They have nothing to do with each other.
No need to be harsh towards the OP.
Yes, we will most likely get MIUI, just give it time.
A while back I asked the question to the guys at miui.us via twitter if any of the devs were switching to the EvoLTE. They mentioned a couple names of people who were gonna get this phone. Considering the device hasn't officially launched, give it a bit. We already have an all-star group of devs working on this phone, just wait till everyones on board.
MIUI cant come soon enough. It wont be long I am sure of that.
