Dolphin HD, since he said in the topic that's the one that works the best with Flash.

Miniclip doesn't work on miren either... But shouldn't apps that require flash work now?

Well, I got the little flash symbol on DHD but when I clicked on it and waited a bit the browser FCed.
I have yet to test Flash on the Miren (Miren ftw!)

Yeah my mine crashes too when trying to use flash stuff... But have you tried any apps?

Edit: Nvm

Hm..actualy..no!
Lemme try the Kongregate app.
I think that flash wont appear because it isn't ARMv6 modified.
And if you try to install it it'll give an error (I tried that before).

Yeah I don't think this works.. Hopefully someone can make it work though..

It works
I can play miniclip games[but they are very laggy]
Using dolphin hd and jokerdorid 4.2
On adobe test page it says adobe flash 10.1.something

Well that might lead me to believe it doesn't work on CM7 (and CM7 based roms).

Must be HTC's Flash Lite at work.

Doubt that, you can't play miniclip games with flash lite, atleast I couldn't..
The problem is probably with cm7

Thats why I keep talking: use jokerdorid, use jokerdroid, use jok...

flash light 4 n player
cud extract this 2 from the stock f/w .......now sum1 try to fix it for cm7......atlst it can have flash light 4 support ....

Weird. It worked for me today on a site where you have this music player and stream it, but when I tried it again browser just crashed and I'm on cm7. Can anyone confirm that this has worked for them?

[Q] Anyone been able to get March Madness on Demand app to work on the Note?

I have the app downloaded, paid for the video so I can watch it on my computer. But on my Note the video won't play. It just shows a little puzzle piece with a question mark, spins for a while, then dumps me back into the app. Anyone have luck getting this video going on our Notes yet? Might not be compatible

Thanks, a re-install of Flash fixed it. I did have Flash installed, but it was restored from TiBu, so perhaps that was it. Although all other flash in the browser worked just fine. Oh well.
Funny thing, I tried to play the game after I uninstalled Flash and it said "Flash is required to play MLB at Bat videos".

[Q] Java in browser

Hello,
I'm trying to surf on the following site : http://www.formula1.com/live_timing/live_timing_popup.html
However, it does not work. I think it is linked to Java.
Does anyone know how to solve this ?
Thx
Works OK for me on Boat browser. It says there's an Android app for the site.
thx for having checked.
do you mean that you registered and saw a table with the lap times for all drivers ?
I just installed Boat Browser and tried but it did not work bteter than Dolphin and stock browser.
It does not tell me that there is something to install.
Do you think that I should try to install and re-install something ?
Thx

Great. Thanks a lot.
I haven't been to the site, but have you tried the Chrome (beta) browser? It doesn't support flash, which is annoying, but it handles Java, and pretty much everything else better than the stock browser. Someone posted a website that test web browsers and the stock one performed horribly, while Chrome did quite well.

Umm...because Adobe removed it from the play store just recently.
Adobe carries the android flash player on it's website. There is no reason to go to a seperate site. Also, if you go to the playstore, look into your account, and look in your apps, it is usually there as well. If it is already installed on the phone. No flames here... But, there is already a thread about problems, and issues with ICS. If you posted there instead of starting so many threads, people may not be as inclined to flame you. Really, just trying to be helpful. Otherwise, your handle here might cause people to react like they would in real life. "Oh No, its THE COPS".LOL

Thats the thing, I didnt see the thread. I searched for about 2 hours both on google and through XDA specifically for Flash Player not working after ICS update. I added Rezound because some phones just cant get it to work in ICS, like the Droid Razr Maxx. So its a wonder I missed that. Yes I poked through a lot of threads on xda that came up in search, but that one didnt. Its not like I didnt search.
Thanks for the reply JeramyEggs. Appreciated
And to Ashton, I appreciate the help. Just next time someone makes a few threads about Android problems, dont be rude like that. Its a good way to lose members in here. I know you are a respected member and a dev possibly and I just noticed you have been helping people out a lot. I'm sure you just got annoyed because you see it from other people often. Try and put yourself in a super frustrated and irritated persobs shoes who suddenly ran into problem after problem. No ones trying to break any posting records here, heck thats what that sticky at the top is for. I missed your post...simple mistake. I'm not going to get into rules, but I dont believe I was breaking any. I did operate as a moderator at 2 different smartphone forums for a few years so I know how it works. As for the Adobe Flash package, Im going to check Adobes site. If I dont it or have any issues then I will let you know about sending that.

flash works fine in the stock browser, you just need to side load a flash APK. Anything 11.1 or higher will work fine. Enjoy your porn :silly:.
It works well with boat browser and boat lets you set the user agent to desktop

So, even though it's JB the stock browser works with Flash? That's a big plus since I'm not yet ready to give up in-browser Flash videos. Now, it just needs root, SixAxis and Wireless Tether and I'll be content.

All Adobe said was that Flash for Android would be discontinued and wouldn't be officially supported by them after ICS. That doesn't mean it won't continue to work on some devices running 4.1 on up, just that there's no promise of working. I think Flash is still working with most Jelly Bean devices.

Same here. I doesn't work properly on some youtube videos. Some videos show scrambled lines but no pictures, some others just won't play. I installed the same JB version of Flash that I've been using on my SG3 (worked perfectly on all dozens of custom ROMs that I had flashed) and on my ATT Note (also on dozens of ROMs from AOSP, AOKP, to CM10 etc...) Good idea! Apparently it is working according to the test pages. Maybe its just certain sites use a different player not suited for mobile...ill download dolphin beta and see if it works. Ive been out of the loop for a bit...why has adobe stopped supporting android? That was a major advantage of android in the early days.
Web site is probably borked and not handling browser user agent ID correctly. For example, videos on main page Yahoo don't work but Yahoo Movies do. Other tech news sites work too.

CNN videos work fine for me in Boat Browser. Been using that browser exclusively for about 6-months now and is about the best and fastest browser for Android with Dolphin coming in a close second.
You can get all of the Flash versions, and the latest (old) version of Dolphin that supported Flash from this link here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1774336
I'm using the latest version of Flash (11.1.115.27) and the latest version of Boat Browser.
Just letting you guys know...CNN is a strange website in that
If you ever enter CNN without the Desktop Mode enabled and try to watch a video, then they drop a cookie in your browser, so when you come back to the website with Desktop mode, flash videos will not work. So the solution is to clear your cache.
I am having the best luck with Beta Firefox, addon: Desktop by Default (makes sites think your phone is a normal computer so no mobile bull****) and Adblock Plus (gets rid of most annoying popups etc)
Also found that when you go full screen on flash videos, you should turn the phone to the correct side of landscape so the video doesn't have to flip 180 or 90 degrees and there be a chance for it to freeze; sounds odd but a really buggy old flash page kept freezing when I went full screen the wrong way but loaded normally when I used the correct method.
Coming from the GNex, seems like Samsung's software is a little less forgiving then Google's unfortunately so steps like this seem necessary for the moment.

I just tried Firefox Beta again. Still blows. There's no full-screen, no homepage, no way to keep "request desktop" permanent, no way to access tabs in the full-screen add-on without turning full-screen add-on off, accessing tabs, then turning full-screen add-on back on again.
Desktop by Default seemed buggy and not always on.
Although Firefox was blazing fast, they've got a long way to go options-wise before they can compete with other mobile browsers.
