I've just tested it on my X10-mini CM6-1.0.2, and AFTER a reboot, it work perfectly!
source:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1155071
It's working, but sometimes it fc (miniclip.com --> first game) on MiniCM7-2.0.3
impressive. it's really a good new.
it works on MiniCM7 (i'm using 2.3.4 Gingerbread Remix10 XL v3.3)
thank
Is it a stand alone player or just a browser plugin??
I'm on MiniCM 1.0.2 installed your posted adobe flash player and a swf player apk, but cannot run a swf file.. so what did I do wrong??
you should try Gingerbread because it won't work on Froyo
Just installed on MiniCM 6 v1.0.1 (Froyo) and it's working
Just install the apk and reboot phone, no need to install anything else
The only problem: not working with opera mini
Worked for me, but weighs a lot and lock the navigation! Uninstalled!
Using MiniCM7 2.0.3.
Works fine as a basic browser plug in (stock or skyfire). Nice to see.
Games (mini-clip) and video crash. Skyfire handles video fine on its own anyway.
Doesn't work by me on stock, Skyfire and Dolphin Mini browsers - sites with flash videos on them either only load and get stuck on loading, or the Dolphin browser even restarts itself when I try to play video on it.
I'm running it on Xperia X10 Mini with CM6-1.0.2 on it.
Nice attempt, but it seems there is a lot of work to make it working on ArmV6!
Can't get it to works on my phone..
But these files are work: http://www.4shared.com/folder/KzLl7sQT/Flash_keur_x10_mini.html
It's pumakkiotto's methode:
- put the lib files in system/lib, all chmod 644
- install the apk
- restart, and now you have stand-alone flash player

Hi moedjs,
Do we need to copy everything?
- system/lib/libflashlite_jni.so (644)
- system/lib/libflashlitepackage.so (644)
- system/lib/libflashliteplugin.so (644)
- system/app/FlashPlugin.apk (644)
- system/app/FlashSVGPlayer.apk (644)
Thanks
Sry for the stupid question, guys, but what's that 644? Number of permissions or what? And when it is permissions, how do we give them in Root Explorer?
Thanks for the info and for sharing the files!
PS: DanielFran, nope, u need to copy only the lib files, the .apk files are installation files, that should be opened in the installation manager.
Half works, it runs on my Mini (MiniCM7 2.0.3) but it tends to cause reboots.

644 permissions is the most basic ones you'll ever come across. It means RW, R, R ( Read-Write, Read, Read), like this:
XXO
XOO
XOO
Where the X is a marked/ticked box.
I've tested with CineX (Streaming for TV-Shows, based on FlowPlayer). And sometimes a stream starts. But i'ts very unstable and slow.
But a great progress so far!
moedjs, that player also doesn't work by me on X10 Mini CM6! Sites with flash video content say I need flash player to view the movie.
Nice to hear that
Working on minicm 6! yeay!

Yeah, definitely! If the lack of the warning message in sites with video content "U need flash player to play video" can be called "working", the constantly crushing browser while loading the video says NOT WORKING AT ALL!!!

Somehow I messed up my stock browser. I upgraded the stock browser with GSG tools and now its FC’ing on me. It aint working on bionix v 1.3.1 anymore…. Is there a way I can reinstall a fresh copy of stock browser.
While searching, I found system dump for vibrant posted by wesgarner
HERE
I pulled the browser.apk file and installed the stock browser. It installed correctly but Now I cant find it on my phone. There is also a browser.odex file. Im wondering If I need to install that too in order for stock browser to work. Im a noob and not so technicaly
Can someone help me on this.. thanks...
p.s
Just flashed bionix V 1.3.1 and I don’t wanna flash it one more time. Because I just spent a lot of time restoring my home screens and other settings manually.
Would appreciate it much.
use root explorer to push the apk to /system/app then use it to set permissions to whatever the permissions are on the other apps there

Pushed browser.apk to system> app using root explorer, then used rom manager to fix permissions, rebooted.......it still isn't working! :-(
Sent from my Samsung Vibrant (Bionix-V 1.2.1) using XDA Premium app
Open root expolrer long press browser.apk and then click permissions and check all under boxes under read (the collum to the left) and the very top box under write. uncheck all the other boxes it should look like a knight's move in chess. Then reboot
If that doesn't work work extract the browser.apk from the bionix zip it should be under /system/app and do the same thing
If that doesn't work then the only thing I can think of is to install a 3rd party browser or reflash

Hello, this is my first post on XDA
in the "Development" section I've read about a camera mod: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1104051.
It add some good feature to the camera stock app like:
Records Audio in 192kbps/44.1Khz quality (CD Quality) rather than stock (64kbps/16khz quality)
Increased Video Bitrate in 1080 and 720p modes* (See 2nd post for info and download link for this version)
I would to try this hack, but I am confused on witch APK to download and use, the Potatoman and the hyperX-'s release are identical or not?
i believe there is only one mod as of right now. The mod you posted above is based off of the original and does nothing but improve the camera. Safe to say this is THE mod to use my friend!

Thank you!
So I can download the modded APK from here without problems? Is it THE mod?
You can dl it from here or glash one of the fantastic roms that have it included.
Now I am trying to install the camera hack on my phone, I renamed the original Camera.apk in Campera.apk.bak and copied the hacked Camera.apk in /system/app, but when I try to execute it to install, the installation starts but it ends with message "Application not installed", why?
What'is my error?
I use Root Explorer...
You don't have to install it after copying to system/app, just copy, then set permissions correct and reboot..

Thank you, now I try, but witch are the correct permissions?!?
EDIT: I set permissions to rx-r--r-- like the original app, now it seems work!
I recorded a video at 720p with the hacked Camera.apk, I controlled media info with VLC and with Windows Explorer "Property->Details" tab, the value they show are 11880 kbps for the video bitrate and 16 kHz, 60 kbps, mono for audio. I think that there are the value for a video recorded with default app, or not?
Help pleaseee!!!
hey, i am trying to hack my camera too, how do you move the camera.apk to system/app if i have it in my file/download, thanks

You must have rooted your phone and you must use a file manager like Root Explorer!
i know, my phone is rooted and have root explorer installed. But i can't paste anything on system/app from my file/download, i could just move files around in my file

Mount the filesystem in R/W mode (read and write), default setting is RO (read only), use the button in the upper side of the screen.
i know this step, i mean, how do you paste the .apk to system/app from the bluetooth folder in my file? because i use bluetooth to transfer the .apk into my phone, but i have no idea how to paste it into root explorer, seems like i can only move it around to those folders in my file. i know i am such a noob, sorry for asking so many silly questions.

You must navigate throught your phone's filesystem with Root Explorer, find the folder where the file Camera.apk is (I think it is /sdcard/bluetooth) copy the file and paste it in /system/app (all operation of copy/move/paste are possible with Root Explorer).
I hope I help you, I'm Italian and I'm not a native speaker of English...
i am not native english speaker either, haha
i am from Hong Kong
i am gonna try it, but i messed it up this afternoon and i had to reset everything on my phone lol because the camera didn't work

the apk doesn't stream videos it force closes
works for me, did you try clear cache to see if that helps?
edit: streaming from or to the device?
edit2: so i had a problem streaming to my device but not from it. I uninstalled the dlna.apk and moved it to /system/app and changed the permissions to match the rest and rebooted. No problems streaming to and from the device. I think the FC happens if you try to install the app instead of moving it to the /system/app

Thanks. This half works for me. The app is working great following the /system/app directions above. However, when trying to play video files (mainly divx and xvid) it says 'unsupported file format'. However, these same files work and play fine using All share on my Galaxy s2. I'm using serviio 3 as my server. Can anybody advise?

I tried about 10 different videos from my media server and had no issues with xvid or divx codec (most of mine are in xvid). When I stream I am using Windows Media Player as the dlna service. I will test out to see if I can use serviio, not sure if your able to test on a windows pc like I did in the mean time.
edit: I tested out serviio and it is an issue from them. I tried to play the same files that worked for me earlier and it gave me the same message as you. I then tried same file using windows media player and it worked.
Thanks. I'll give that a try.

You need to be rooted to install it properly so you don't get the FC
1) go into your file manager you have installed with root access.
2) move the dlna.apk to /system/app
3) Set permissions to rw-r-r (Read access for User, Group, Other; Write access for User; nothing set for execute) (See image for what it looks like)

FC = Force Close as in app crashes.
Check out the "Look here first" sticky in the dev thread on how to root, there is a video guide thread as well.
Download ES File manager from market after you root and go to settings to enable root and to mount system as rw (writable) then after moving the file long press on it and go to properties and click permission and follow previous instructions.

Found this link for it today in my searching:

I´ve read many post of people looking for a solution for the video-recording HD after install some FXP mod ROMS. With no reason, sometimes it works for some people and sometimes don´t. After reading many post, it seems that if you update from a FXP before than FXP_46, you got camera working well, but for the people that come from FXP_47 and above, the video-camera freezes constantly.
I have found a post talking about that here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1285977&page=17.
Well, you have to replace TWO files: "Camera.apk" from /system/app, and "libcameraservice.so" from /system/lib , after put the right permissions on these files: Owner:read and write, group:read, others: read. Do it with Rootexplorer app for example, look like this: http://compixels.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Vending-Android-Root-Permissions.png . Reboot and voila, HD video recording perfect!!!!.
Where are the files? here: http://www.mediafire.com/?7v32a2j1nph3zvz .Thanks to "seaton" XDA-user for the update files.
Perfect Xperia Mini ST15i FXP_50 until...radio FM worked...
(Delete the other post in ray development, dont know how).
Good find. Wrong section.
I noticed that the audio recording is low, is this normal?
Thnxz ...
Hey do u kno any way to hav stock camera on CM?? .. I mean I tried checking in the .ftf file but I cant open .sin files
So any ideas?
Use SIN2IMG then use unyaffs on the img.
All in a pack here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=547843&d=1300707835 .
Read: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=952732
hey i tried copying it with root explorer but it stops me from doing it as its only readable file .so I tried with es explorer .. but the video is still the same no hd
And the sin converter how does it work I tried giving it commands to locate my .sin files but it stops working(I am using win7 32bt)
1.- Use rootexplorer, and MOUNT the files in read and Write mode, R/W!!!, not only read. Change the files and change permissions, reboot and check the camera.
2.- Search posts in xda, there are many about extracting "sin" files. Got no more info.

Hey!! maybe you already solved this but AFAIK the only solution is reinstalling android... nevertheless you can download Dolphin which is better than android stock browser... and if you are having trouble with other applications like voice recognition that needs browser.apk you can do the following:
1. Download Dolphin but do not install.
2. Go to your /sdcard/downloads folder and rename the Dolphin aplication you downloaded as "Browser.apk"
3. Copy it and paste at /system/app
4. Reboot and enjoy!
PS: you must get root in order to do this.

It's not the only solution
He's doing something wrong, OP did you do this:
1. Copy browser.apk to /system and set permission to 655 and move to /system/app
2. reboot
Or do the following commands in ADB:
1. adb remount
2. adb push browser.apk system/app
3. adb shell chmod 655 system/app/browser.apk
And if you get FC's try to fix permissions in CWM
