Trade EVO 3d for view. - HTC Flyer, EVO View 4G

You do realize that the view is $200 more right?
Also that since the device hasn't been out for 30 days, anybody who just bought it with Sprint could go trade it in under their 30 day policy?

Evo 3d price?

Was curious if anyone has any price information on evo 3d with the 150$ discount. If no official info best guesses would be appreciated.

What's the point? Your guess is as good as anyone elses.
So what's your guess and we can play hot and cold......
the price should be $200
logically just look at the price of the new nexus on sprint. evo 3d should be somewhere between that price and $100 more. But a guess is just a guess. Wait a few weeks for an official announcement
I predict 249.
Tapa tapa tapa
It's going to be at LEAST $250 with new contract. Could be more.
New contract - $199.
2 year upgrade - $249.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA Premium App
Yeah 250$ was my guess as well.

The Epic was $250 when it came out. And it was not that advanced of a phone when it came out when you compare how groundbreaking and revolutionary the EVO 3D is.
Guessing (and hoping) $249 with new 2 yr contract or after $150 upgrade and rebate.

But the Evo 4g was gorundbreaking upon its release and was $199. I see your logic but if you are trying to imply the E3D will be more than $250 based on its specs compared to what is currently on the market because of the epic.... well apples and oranges
$200, $250, or $300 (see droid charge). Doesn't really matter what we guess though, since we don't have any say in the pricing. If you just want to know how much money to save up, then prepare for the worst case scenario.

save up $500. Then you can get the phone plus some accessories. Don't forget the extra battery!!

Samsung is proud of their devices and feel they need to charge more for them. Case in point? See Droid Charge. One of the many reasons why I'll not own another one.

If you are eligible for a 2 year upgrade then you should be paying the same price as a new customer.
The Sensation is $199 with a new contract at Target mobile. Would not surprise me one bit if the 3D follows suit.

^^^^ This.
Might be 249 like the Epic with 2 year, but more likely will be 299ish because of the 3D.
I'm going to have to buy it full price, so i'm hoping its not more than 600.
199$ new contract I heard but I'm adding second line with two year contract

EVO 3d how to get a upgrade in contract

Ok, so I have been on Sprint now for about 3 months now, I want a EVO 3d bad since sense 3.0 isn't very smooth on my EVO 4G. How would I go about with talking Sprint to let me upgrade for $200? Since I have not been with them for that long.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
well since u have been with them for more than 30 days you have nothing to leverage with. u have to wait or open a new line
I guess I will have to look around on amazon. Soon I will be rocking that wonder of a phone.

why on earth would you deserve another discount you just got one 3 months ago.
sell your phone on ebay and put it towards a new phone.

To even attempt to get an early upgrade, you need to be at least 6 months into your contract.
Lol ok, I'm 9 mo in, my wife has been w Sprint for 10 years...what do I do? Complain? Haha. That E3D is nice! Anyone that hates their locked E3D i'll gladly trade my unlocked EVO 4G to ya hahaha

I was planning on trading in my Evo 4G anyways and holding onto my Evo 3D as a backup. Too bad the extra $50 is with a new line of service.
I pre-ordered through Wirefly, any chance I could take advantage of this? The phone will be on a brand new line on a family plan. Sprint lists my Samsung Captivate buy-pack at $62 and with an extra $50 the Evo 4G LTE will have cost me nearly nothing out of pocket.
They're offering $90 for a 3D. I told the rep "Didn't you guys offer up to $150 for the OG EVO on the 3D release? Hell, ima classifields this one..."

it changes every day .. the other day it was 70 for the evo and that was the highest price over all other phones even the view.
edit: https://secure.sprintbuyback.com/cns/select its still 70 for the recycle of the evo
Gracias! Hopefully I get my Evo 1337 in time so I can get the extra cash.
Other than the hassle of ebay or CL, is there a reason to use the trade in instead?
www.swappa.com is a good site for selling too.
Sent from my Nexus S 4G using Tapatalk 2
^^Have you actually used swappa.com? Sounds promising; only $10 commission fee + paypal fees... Also looks like the buyer picks up the commission fee instead of it being deducted from the sale price.
I sold my g2 on swappa. It was easy and great. Much easier than eBay.

Sprint early upgrades

Any one heard of corporate stores doing early upgrades this year for premier members like they did last year in December
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
Usually they want a early upgrade fee...it is based on how many months are left on our contract... its resonable ....usually
Sent from a lens flare powered EVO LTE
Last year it was a special promotion. Early upgrades,no strings attached. Got two iPhones without any extra buy out charge. Both lines had 6 months left.
Sent from my EVO using xda app-developers app
I just did an early (3-1-2013) for one of my lines. Had to pay $50 bucks, plus give them my Google Nexus Phone (which they gave me $28 for it) and I bought the S3, out the door $264. I was going to buy a new/used one on CL for $400, so that was a killer deal to me....btw I just did it yesterday adn I do have a biz account
The giving them your phone part is the real kick in the nuts. To Hell with that.
You pay the early upgrade fee to make up for the remainder of the subsidy and still have to give the phone up, they are smoking some good crack.

thats how i got this phone.. i had the evo 3d.. i had 1 year left on my 2 year contract.. it cost me 150$ for the early upgrade and 200$ plus tx for the phone... then i sold my evo 3d on craislist for 130$.. so it cost me 150$ to upgrade 1 year early.. i didnt have to give them my other phone at all.. i sold that **it!!:good: ima do another early upgrade if i can when the next evo comes out in the summer i need a new phone every year.. i get bored fast plus i need that newest toy
That was a special offer for a month or two . Now you have to give up your old phone. And like I said earlier, F that

Evo LTE on back order

Went to BB to swap out my phone due to problems with power button, etc. Geek Squad said phone was on back order for an indeterminate time. But, they were more than willing to give me a pos loaner phone for $150 till they received them.

I'm reading through all of these responses, and nothing besides the last response seems relevant to my original post. Best Buy offered me no upgrades or swaps or anything. They sent me over to Geek Squad whom is no in-charge of black tie protection plans. They offered me the Epic as a "loaner" phone while I waited for a replacement off back order. Everyone is talking about Sprint, etc. Sprint told me flat-out, they are not touching my phone, either Best Buy or HTC I talk to.

Had to take mine in to BB in august they were OOS and offered a GS3 or Optimus G. I chose to wait though the GS4 was out and i knew the G2 was coming soon, no sense in getting a new old phone. Upgrade in Feb so i can wait on next years crop of phones especially if we really get the update to 4.3 and sense 5 I can hold off till all the phones are announced.

I get my phones from bb and have their black tie insurance. Ive had my lte replaced 3 times for damage already at no extra charge from bb and i received them all within 3 days. I used to have the 3d which i also got replaced 3 times by them at no extra charge within 3 days each time. I got my lte because the last time i broke my 3d they were oos so instead of giving me a g2 they upgraded me at no cost and without using my upgrade. I had to get a loaner about 5 months ago from them when i needed a replacement and it was only $50, which i got back when i returned it. Dont know why the op is having so much trouble but ive had nothing but great experiences every time and have nothing but good things to say about black tie insurance.
