I have used uot (ultimate online themes) before and its an amazing site but ever since the theme chooser was implented into the froyobread roms i havent been able to make a theme properly with it. can anyone help me?

What seems to be the problem? Are you ticking this in the summary tab?

i think i understand what theyre on about, its not about how it was compiled or anything, but the themes arent complete, like the power menu is still the same as the theme you used to make it, if you get my meaning, ive also found that it cant install fonts sometimes, it either gives me an error code in xrecovery, or sometimes it just gives me bootloops :S
@mcpaddington yes i did. i uploaded the androidian.apk and downloaded the zip and it didnt work nothing changed on it

there is something else i wanna know though............what files do i need to change to edit the glow colour when something is clicked? i can find it. for example with the androidian theme when something is clicked it glows green....i want to change it to blue anybody know?

It's one of these four, but I think it's the first one I list:
menuitem_background_pressed.9.png (I think it's this one)
grid_selector_background_pressed.9.png
highlight_pressed.9.png
list_selector_background_pressed.9.png
Framework-res/res/drawable-mdpi
Change each of these with a different colour and you'll know then
u have to upload SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk if u are using FroyoBread v013 and above.

When I apply this theme (http://forum.android.com.pl/f200/theme-gingerbread-37763/) the clock in the statusbar stays black.
The big problem is that always when I apply any theme, the clock stays black, so I can't see the time.
How can I solve this. I'm not polish so I can't ask it on the polish forum...

W/o deodex you can't get the white clock. Theme is for CyanogenMod.

how do I deodex my phone? Do I need to be deodexed to use the MetaMorph theme?
Another problem: I flashed Quarx black rom but when I try to apply this theme with metamorph, it stays endless on 'appling framework-res.apk 1 from ' (something like that). I waited 30 minutes but it never stops... What do I have to do?

I applied this theme in CM and it worked, but my wifi meter iisn't green. I tried to delete the white wifi meter in drawable mdi (like that)and applied the theme again. But still the white wifi thing...
Or is it supposed to be white?

I still have not found any theme that works.
I have the standard theme and it is ok for now but new themes would be perfect
I have 3 themes on KalimGinger 10.12 and they are all nice...

may be we could took framework-res.apk from our tattoo system, then modifie it, then replace. But this solution is so simple that I'm 100% sure that it won't work.
Or maybe if we modifie framework-res.apk directly in the rom zip, then flash it as new rom!
Solved
Good news ^^ : My second theory was good .
1)Get framework-res.apk in the rom zip (kalim for exemple)
2)unzip it somewhere in your camputer
3)modifie the look screen curseur png
4)copy them directly in the apk where are the originals one
5)copy the modified framework-res.apk directly in the zip where is the original one
6)Don't sign anything (or it will do a bootloop)
7)Maybe you need at least one pixel not translucide in the .png (I did a dot in each png, but I don't know it was that, that made it work.
Now you can change everything, and made it looks the way you like.
Edit: May be you can directly put the modified framework-res.apk in the phone using adb command, then it reboot automaticly.

the theme don't modify your launcher theme, modifies only the notifications bar, look the screen, and a few more items.
can we get it to modify only the lock screen, excluding everything else as you have mentioned? []look the screen, and a few more items] what other items?

you can open framework-res with a WinZIP, and modify the files in (res / drawable-mdpi)

Flashed your theme on a freshly installed CM 6 3.03. I've got the icons but no modded notifications bar nor reboot menu. Any ideas, suggestions ? And also in CyanogenMod settings there are no other themes than stock ones. Should I unzip the archive into CMtheme folder on SD card ?

I did a little browsing and found that Xeno CyanoGen theme has an extra zip that if I understood corectly should be placed inside CMtheme folder. It contains a .xml file. Just sayin.
I put the theme xml attach, just extract and copy to the sdcard CMthemer.
but not needed here
It seems I can't get it to work, status bar icons won't change. That's a shame coz out of all the themes this was the most beautiful.

The battery icon doesn't show upto how much it's charged while charging (by this I don't mean the number %). No movement either.

Is it ass easy ass just copy "defaultthemes.apk" into system/app witht the permisions of the original file and reboot? Ill answer my own question: Yes it is..I didnt even have to reboot.

I managed to add themes to the package instead of overwriting them. Just decompile and add your files using unique names. Then make sure the uid's are sequential (+1, use a hex-dec generator). Or you can use the file from my Black and White theme as a base for 10 additional wallpapers.
