[TOOL] IMGFS replace from Mango ROM [09/07] - HD2 Windows Phone 7 Development

imgfs2part
htcRIE replace function is not work for Mango ROM.
so I made this tool for it.
this tool is for just put modified IMGFS.bin to part04.bin from Mango ROM.
there is no other use or doesn't compatible for other ROM(only for Mango!)
Usage:
imgfs2part.exe part04.bin imgfs.bin

part04-new.bin file will be created
rename it to part04.bin and put it into Data.zip
and enjoy flashing...
P.S : if you know any information about part04.bin(D000FF) file structure please share with us, you can make things better ^^;;

Does it change the image size info just after the header if imgfs has not the same size?
Edit: where do you live? for me it's still 08/07 ^^

yes, but there is imgfs.bin file size limit...maximum 318898176 bytes
if lower than that it will work...i think

Yes it works well, it's because I've increazed the size of imgfs.
From where and how have you done for sqlceer35pl.dll?

not all files are swapped, I had only taken a few MUI

ok. for the mui's in module you can use RecMod.exe to transform them to dll so you'll not have the problem of relocating. mui's and most of resources files are not encrypted like other dll.

how to run this .exe file? because once i launch this .exe on my windows 7 - 64bit laptop, a black windows flashes for a second and then just disappears. Can somebody guide me please.

Its a cmd program. You have to give it cmds like a input file etc. You use it via a batch script or RUN/CMD window.
