sadly i can't check which version it is so please confirm whether it is gingerbread.
link below
http://www.lg.com/in/support/mc-support/mobile-phone-support.jsp
I just checked. The latest version is V10E
LOL, its not the right way to check the update. Check the tool Lg software update posted here, and once you add your device information it will start downloading v10e.
For the link above, it will always reflect "update is available". Welcome to the world of **** LG.
FAIL! Someone better close this thread.
Just met someone who has a advanced tutorial attached to his signature but has never been to his mobile brands website before
EPIC FAIL..
yeah i don't have a computer. so the tool is not an option for me.

Seems you have a huge mess in your files buddy.
Why not download the newest XWLP7 firmware from this thread and just put the 1 file in PDA and click Start?
Looks like you are using files from source A but asking forum B what to do .
Use the thread posted and read and follow the instructions .

I'm a new user so I can't post in the Development section of the forums where the post I'm refering to is.... so here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192467
It's Matt's Utility. I have A RAZR XT912, all the up to date drivers, and I'm still having a problem. AnoraxAudio is having the same issue as me but didn't get a reply (his post is at the bottom of that page, so that could be a reason) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192467&page=11
Here's the problem coming up:

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
It's giving me operation not permitted and such around steps 4-5. Also saying it can't find some of the directories. Does anyone have any insight?
Or could someone repost this in that development thread for me? The New User limitations are really frustrating...
G2 is getting updated with android 4.4 kitkat in korea... will be rolling out gradually to other countries(hope so)

Old news, also do a search next time. There were other threads about this that mods have already locked and redirected to the 4.4 talk thread.
What do you think this thread is for? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2582889
Try and determine that it is already covered, or not, before you post yet another piece of stale news.
Thanks OP for the update....
my s5 would take forever to download pictures when my 4g lte is on.
any ideas?
Big picture?
J/k, check and see which modem/baseband is installed on your phone.
#1. Goto "Settings"
#2. Click "About Device"
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
#3. Baseband version should end with "ANE6"
If it reads otherwise, then you need to install the latest modem/firmware, found here sammobile.com , or by looking in the android development section of these forums.
Let me know what your device says to better diagnose the issue.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
if I click "yes" I get this message :
then I click OK and this shows up (same if I click "no") :
I want to flash my Xperia 1 (rooted) and last time I did it worked perfectly fine (XperiFirm version was 5.3.8 I believe but no other version worked this time)...
Looked up for a solution on Google but nothing worked
This thread has the latest version. it may work: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-v5-6-5.2834142/
