Fonts for CM7 rooted NC - Nook Color Themes and Apps

I am not sure if this is the right area or not, but I am trying to figure how to change the font on my nook. Mostly, I really do not like the font when surfing with Opera. It is my understanding that Opera uses whatever font is the default of the NC. So, is there a way to download more fonts so I can find one I like better? I frequent a lot of forums, so I read a lot of text on the web.

Just look online for fonts, .ttf files.
4shared, etc.

I've been using Root System Font Installer (https://market.android.com/details?id=com.canvs2321.font_installer&feature=search_result). There are close to 300 fonts, with a really easy to use UI.

Once I have a ttf file, how do I install it? I have one saved on my SD card, but when I try to open it I am asked what application I want to use to complete the action.

[Q] Themes and icons

Having just moved from an iPhone im still learning here so bear with me. It seems as installing custom themes and/or customizing app icons is not as easy as installing winterboard and throwing a theme up. I'm a big buuf/mattahan fan and I've had that theme on my iphone since my 2G. After doing some research it seems that there are a couple of ways to change an app icon. First I could open up the .apk and insert the new icon, then resign the package and put it back on the phone. Second there seems to be an app called metamorph which is similar to winterbord but only works on certain phones.
Am I missing some easier way? I'm willing to spend some time on a package that I could share with others if I knew how.
Thanks

Metamorph does work on the vibrant if you were wondering
Some theme makers also make update.zip's that you can flash from recovery, but most prefer metamorph because its more universal.
also if you use a replacement launcher like ADW launcher which is on the market, then you can download themes from the market and simply choose them from the launchers menu.
In fact I beleive ADW launcher has a buuf theme.
theres also a keyboard app on the market called better keyboard that has a buuf theme (better keyboard is a paid app though)

[Q] How to change default folder icons?

Is there a way to change the default folder icons? I DON'T want to use an app because I like how the default one works. It's fast and simple.
I'm using Launcher Pro (free) on a rooted g2x (Eaglesblood cm7 rom).
You can on ADW, at least ADW Ex anyway. I'm not sure if the free ADW allows for this, but you can try it out.
If you're looking for customization, I'd suggest ADW over LauncherPro. If you want to stick with LauncherPro, I don't think there's a way to do it.
Any solutions?
I'm also interested in this topic, and I agree with you, fast and simple, it does what it should
Moreover having a rooted phone I suppose that there is way to make a flashable zip or some other tweak to have this done
thanks guy!testing
I'm using Folder Organizer, but would love to ditch the overhead. Also, adding items is a bit convoluted; not nearly as easy as the drag & drop of the default folders. There must be an image file buried in there somewhere, that's accessible on a rooted phone. I just have no idea where!

[Q] Locate all fonts installed

Is there a way to locate all the fonts installed on Android?
I have several fonts through an app 'Go Launcher Fonts'. It is no problem setting those fonts for Go SMS or Go Launcher, or for other apps that can scan the system for fonts.
I want to put the fonts for another app to use, that apparently cannot scan for fonts.
I can't find them. The ones installed through 'Go Launcher Fonts' is not in /system/fonts, and I can't find any of the fonts names via Astro.
Is there a font collector app of some sort that can scan through all the fonts and tell you where they are?
My phone is not rooted, running a standard HTC Desire HD / Android 2.3.

The Go Apps probably come with fonts bundled in the apk. Such fonts won't be available to the Android OS or other apps. Only the Go apps can access them.
Ooh, that's a shame. Thanks anyway.

[Q] Custom Themes Creation

Hello,
So I have been wondering is there a way to create themes using the computer and then exporting them to applications like Themer and Buzz Launcher. I know this part of the forum is MyColorScreen, however, I believe this question is going towards all the launchers. I personally feel that it is difficult to create themes using your phone (I don't have access to a tablet). I have tried MyColorScreen and it is a wonderful app but it just doesn't have the features I want. So, do you guys have any programs that you use?
I am trying to use GIMP to make my own icons for now but the application UCCW is what I am mostly interested in. That app is powerful, but as you already know it is quite tedious. Any way to use it on the computer?
Thanks!

Buddy software and how to get normal icons?

Does anyone experience a very buddy ui? Apps close all the time etc, didn't think was that bad until I used it..
I am using Google now launcher, but do I get normal icons?
Thanks
People not used to Honor 7 don't know it has added benefit of saving battery by closing down apps in background unless protected. Go into Settings, Protected Apps, and protect the ones you don't want closing, or Protect All if you like.

Download icons herel; https://mega.nz/#!Fsx31RxD!z-curpHUhFxOOZTCHaw4YbzJQpiRhgeuu_Axg_RNgQs
put them in the HWThemes folder on your device.
Then in setting you can change the icons set.
If you want to delete the boxed background from the app icons, then follow these steps:
Download any Root Explorer from Play Store.
Navigate to /system/themes.
Delete file named icons.hwt.
You'll get rid of your icon backgrounds.
Or you can head over to Honor themes & apps subforum to see if you like any custom themes there.
