Hey guys,
I installed the updated Skype app today and was able to make a video call, but my camera wouldn't come on. I could see the other person and we could hear each other, but no video of me.
Anyone have any ideas?
That would be a great advancement, if we had video calls via Skype on Archos 70. Any improvement here is appreciated.

It's can install and work fine on my Archos 101 but not test video call because my friend in contact list not have video.
Thanks jakkrith for the link.
I've installed that Skype app version on my Archos 70IT (UrukDroid 1.0) but it shows "No FFC detected".
The Camera app on the Archos uses FFC without any problem.
I've sent the information (log, camera app) to droidrx.
Maybe he can fix it.

Hi everyone,
Just picked up a brand new Plum/Purple S5830 Ace for the wife and for some strange and bizarre reason it hasn't got a stock video player... is this right?!
I've tried loads of different FW's (up to 2.3.5) and it's still not there, even after a format/wipe etc..
Does anyone have the stock apk from/for the Ace please? Would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.
(I know there are others in the market, but I like the simplicity of the stock player)
Thanks again,
Thanks for looking, but guess this phone doesn't ship with a stock video player. Shame
We get only gallary not any specific video player app
so use gallary or any good from market
I just upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S2 from Android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 (SlimRom). The new video recording interface does not have pause and resume functions anymore
How could I get them back (without downgrading)?
Thank you for any help.

Use a modded camera app like the one having photosphere.
Edit :Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092330
My bad the above link is useless for video recording but you just need to search for a mod camera app
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Thanks for your answer mate.
I managed to get Photosphere running on my SG2 but still no luck with any Camera Mod that would allow to pause video recording :'-(
Must keep searching I guess unless someone can pass me a link?
Does anyone know if an aplication exists that shows only video on camera and no soft keys nor menus just plain video , I wanna use Android Phone as a live TV broadcast camera !
Thanks in advance
Hi,
I'm not sure if I'm just using bad search terms or what, but I haven't been able to come up with anything.
I know something similar must be out there! Apologies if it's easy to find and I've just overlooked it...
What I'm looking for is a Video Recording/Camcorder App that streams live to YouTube, G-Drive or even my own Server.
Just want to be able to shoot video and have it safely stored offsite immediately...
(Not like the stock camcorder app that let's you share and upload the video post shooting)
I mean if someone grabbed the phone out of your hand whilst recording, it would still be there.
Does anybody have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate any help!
Thanks,
Bren
