Yup. Even the most recent attachment.... It must be something on netflix's end on how the video is encoded.

So i just checked for the hell of it. Downloaded Netflix from Android market.
let me log in.
Went to my queue.
Resumed watching Firefly.
Oh i onlyuse it with wifi.
BUT IT WORKS!
I can't see HTC supporting Netflix on the Flyer as it would render their Watch app useless.
I'm sure the view has watch too. It works on view

Works on my View, no problem.
Netflix does not show in the market for my flyer. It must be just the view. Hopefully soon.

This sounds too good to be true, but maybe u could give us some more info. Specifically, what version is ur flyer on, did u get the update. Is yours s-off? Did u root it? Are u using a market enabler? Cuz I have no update or root and dnt see the netflix app in my market at all... Just a bunch of crap. If its works can u plz post which netflix app ur using here so we can see if it works on our WiFi only flyers?
In the thread below, someone posted the APK intended for the View in their Dropbox. A Flyer owner apparently tried it, and it doesn't work. So apparently, Netflix is differentiating between the Flyer and the View. The Dropbox link gave me a 404 error, so I couldn't try it myself.

I think you are right about that. I recall on the Evo netfilx worked then there was the update and it didn't work until the 2.3.4 was released.
hmm..oh well. I'm just hoping that HTC decides to give us freedom with s-off on the fourth of july ha...

here are some apps i pulled from the optimus 3d rom dump. there are a couple 3d games and the awesome 3d gallery. I dont know if any of these work, since im not getting mine till Friday but it would be nice if someone can test them for me so I can get started on porting them over. hopefully I can get it done over the weekend

None of these apps are currently working and won't work till we have root and the games probably never will work as they are compiled for the powervr chipset of the optimus

Hey guys.. just got my EVO 3D today... does anyone know how to get to the 3D youtube?.. is it working yet?.. i dont even have the option to switch youtube to 3D... atleast not that i know of... thanks in advance for the help.

I tried but none seen to want to install onto my phone.
The 3d YouTube comes preloaded.. search yt3d to get a bunch of 3d formatted videos

The version on the EVO 3D is YouTube 2.1.7 which enables 3D support on mobile and is newer than the YouTube 2.1.6 that is in the market.
I could watch 3d on YouTube before, but now all I see is split screen movies in 2d....ideas??

I'll have to try it. I must say the Netflix implementation on Android as a whole has been extremely disappointing.

I Downloaded Netflix from 4Shared and it works great. I really did not think it would work, but it works just fine.
Having Netflix makes Hulu pretty moot for me. In truth the main reason I rooted my 4G was to be able to watch Hulu, but when Netflix was released I stopped watching Hulu completely.

Google Talk on Viper ROM has video chat included. I tried it earlier today...

gchat video is included in the CleanRom 2.0 - works great!
its pretty much in every rom now. i haven't had a rom without it i don't think.
I'm running stock 2.3.4 and video chat is running fine

I'm not sure! I haven't downloaded or tweaked anything. It is just there. Wonder if it is a CDMA vs GSM thing, cause I'm in Canada, not the US. Are you guys Sprint?

Is there anyway someone can titanium backup the apk or something and upload it so that we fellow cdma brethren can have it too? Lol or compile it into a flashable zip?

I would! But I'm not rooted, nor do I plan to root until there is a guaranteed way for me to safely do it.
That's one advantage that you CDMA folks have over those of us with GSM.

Revolutionary 0.4pre4 worked fine for me. I've been happily running Titanium Backup on my rooted Roger EVO 3D for the past week or so.

Oddly enough, I can't seem to get HTCDriver3.0.0.007.exe to install on my PC, so I'm kind of stuck at the moment!
Sorry to go off topic, but I don't want you CDMA folk to think I'm being greedy and not sharing the love of my video chat!
If I ever get it working, I'll do what I can to get you the .apk
And @VenpaCasa, I haven't used either of the video chats you mention, so I can't really comment on quality differences!

sorry lee my pc blew up and am only just getting back online. i am on stock rom/kernel.
will happily attach whatever you need but no idea what those files are. if you can give me a walkthrough i will do as you ask.
