Since I got it, I have been afraid of loosing the $80 stylus. So instead of learning how to use it, I've just been leaving it at home. I finally found a reasonably secure way to take it with me.
The cap from a PaperMate Flair pen is a perfectly snug fit on either end of the stylus that does not cover or intefere with the buttons. The only fault i can find is if I am not careful, twisting it off can loosen the threads on the battery cover.
I had to pay 6 bucks (at Staples) for a 4 pack of pens that I will never use just to get one cap. But it was $6 well spent.
I actually found the Expo Vis-a-Vis wet erase cap to work pretty well, also. Doesn't look so bad...doesn't look "good" either, though.
Pics please?

Sorry, didn't see your request until just now.
With the pics I see what you mean now, not a bad idea. That would clip onto just about any case. Think I'll give this a shot.
This actually is a big issue and a flaw. Anyone else got any creative ideas.
I just took a few pictures of the EVO View's pen with the Flair pen cap.
They are sitting on a M-Edge pouch for a Nook Color. I picked-up a $6 tool pouch from Home Depot. A shoe repair shop sewed it's belt clip on the M-Edge pouch. Note the pen fits nicely in the zippered pocket that hides the pouch's carrying strap.

I pulled the clip off a 99 cent air pressure gauge. Slips on tight and it was dirt cheap.

My solution came from a free Gas Co pen that never worked but never got trashed. had to destroy the pen and file the inside of the ring so as to not damage the battery cap threads.

That does look like a pretty sweet case. I especially noticed how, considering it's a cheap ebay case, the camera holes seem perfectly centered. On my $50 Defender the camera holes are slightly off center, makes me wonder what Otterbox's profit margin is (think Monster Cable). It does look nice and has some nice extras. One thing that concerns me is that it seems (through my past experience) that 2 piece hard plastic cases tend to come off the phone as soon as it hits the ground. I know the back is metal but the metal is attached to a hard plastic shell correct? Does it seem like it might come off easy? Just concerned because I had a hard plastic case on my OG EVO and the one time I dropped it the case popped right off and my EVO went skidding across the ground. Just hate to spend the money on a product that fails at the exact time you need it to do it's job.

The aluminum is adhered to what I believe is acrylic so that It's one piece. Its a snap on case. It fits tight. I'm not sure how easy its going to be to take on and off to swap batteries.

So I was searching for a replacement case because I'm really unhappy with my poetic slim case. I was searching on Overstock and came across this swivel case, and im in love. I've seen one similar for the ipad, but did not know one existed for the transformer. It leaves access for all ports, has a hard plastic back covered with that fake leather type feeling material. The transformer can rotate 360 degrees in the case as well as stand. The case does not add much bulk, but protects all sides, screen, and back. It closes with an elastic strap. I'm really happy with this new case!

Yep, I have about the same case, I purchased mine off Amazon. It's superb. My only complaint is that it's somewhat easy for the TF to fall out of the grooves when you have it propped up. Still, works great for what I wanted.

Yes, very good case. Most case has cut opening on the corner and the tablet will dent if drop. This case covers all corner and it is very solidly build. There is the two and three groove version, get the two groove one. Mine holds the tablet very well and doesnt came off easily.
We just received ours and I could not be happier. It's exactly what I wanted out of the case.

It is pretty easy to remove the case. It holds the tablet very securely, but is easy to take out. And the lids folks back 2 ways. Either close to the swivel point, our in the muddle if the case. either way, it lays very flat.
Is it dockable? I only ask because the picture on overstock has a dock showing. If not its still a nice case for the price.

Not to bump an old thread, but is this case available with 3 angles instead of just two? How well does the plastic housing protect the tablet? I'm assuming is not removable like the RooCase as well.
Actually this case was the second one I bought..
I love this case... the TF is easy to put in it and remove it (while still being secure) and I dont own a dock so I cant say as to that, but other than it slipping out of the grooves sometimes its the best case I have seen... this is my new go to..
Are any of the cameras obstructed by the case? My original case I replaced (rooCase) had camera holes as small as those and the back camera looked like it had a circular vignette. The front camera only became affected when the case shifted a bit. Looks like this case would have similar issues, even though I love the rotatable aspect.

Some have reported the sleeve (for the pen) on their case fits a little loose.
If so, stop by the nearest auto parts store and pick up a 2 dollar inline air blower or a pencil type tire pressure gage … snap off the clip it’s a perfect fit on the pen. That will hold it in the sleeve.

No dust covers and silly Transformers reliefs on the back that will interfere with an Aidock (and even with putting a magnetic sticker there for the airdock to adhere).
Nope : I'll pass.

The airdock is a wireless charging dock (essentially, for cars) : you lay your phone on a micro suction foam (below which is the QI coil), and it adheres to it. If your phone case is a bit rugous, the foam will not work as well, but you can just use a smooth magnetic adhesive (supplied with the dock) which'll work fine....
... provided you can lay it flat on the rear face of your case. And with such shapes on Urban Armor Gears cases, it will be a problem...

Yeah, but we don't know yet wether there'll be enough metal in the right place inside the Nexus 6, so to do without a magnetic sticker ; and said sticker won't do with the back of such a case as the Urban Armor Gear one.
The Airdock also has a suction foam which makes magnets redundant (or at least, adhere better, which is always good in the car), but it requires glossy and (rather) flat plastic at the back of the case, which is another problem with this one...
Well... we'll see what comes out as accessories. I now hope Otterbox indeed really is considering a case, as neither Trident nor Ballistic seem interested, and as Spigen won't do a case with dust covers. So a Commuter is among my last hopes, so I can buy the Nexus 6... If I can't have a somewhat rugged case (without going to the last extremities), I'll have to pass on this phone, even though I'd really like to get it.
Was always interested in UAG cases. Will probably cop one for times when I'm doing an activity that may require a heavier duty case for extra safety measures.

Thanks for linking it. I never had a UAG case before so I couldn't tell you. 40 bucks is quite steep for what amounts to a piece of plastic in my opinion. I'm thinking more of a flipcase or something with a kickstand since the phone is so large. The fact that the volume and power buttons are on the same side would suggest that they intend for it to be more of a media consumption device as well.

My Seidio CONVERT Case for the Nexus 4 was $50 when it was released and to this day I never had any damage happen to my phone (hell even the glass back has not been damaged at all if you can believe it!).
Fact is that when you are paying up a premium, you are paying for top notch protection. My Nexus 4 never was graced with the attention of Otterbox or UAG (hell I wish it was) but considering the attention and love the Nexus 6 is getting from Case Manufactures it is good luck for all of us on the options out there for us now!
I personally cannot wait for this case. I just hope they get it out there soon!
I'd like to see one in that olive green color they make.

My problem with the UAG for my S4 was that the high lip on the front, even with a tempered glass screen protector, interfered with swiping from the side gesture for opening the navigation drawer. The N6 is supposed to have a nice edge on the side, and I am afraid of ruining it.
For those of you wanting other colors: I just e-mailed their support and asked if they had any plans for different styles/colors. The response was a negative
Shame really, the Scout style looks really nice.
Anyone seen one? Want something relatively thin just to protect the edges. All the cases you seem to find are folio style or OTT protection.
There isn't much available for this tablet. Unfortunately, It's mostly cheap folio cases. The only others I've seen were the Poetic cases.

I'll take one if they're good! I would love for there to be more options like hybrid phone cases. I have a poetic and hate it. I cut the rubber off the button area because the power button just wasn't registering when I pushed it. And the usb port cover kept popping out so I cut that off too lol.. And the screen protector is so wavy and distracting that I took that out. I've got a tempered glass protector, which is so much better. I tried a cheap flip case but when it's folded behind its so annoying. Why don't they make them with magnets to hold them in place?
