How I go back to v18 without restore?
Thanks!

Kernel
I think you can just flash v18 over v18.1 though I haven't tried it or you can just reflash your ROM & kernel again.
I did a clean flash by the way

So, anyone have certain about just flash v18 over v18.1?
Tks!

You're mistaken actually, it is a Gingerbread feature.
If you got to Settings> About Phone > Battery Use and tap the graph at the top you'll end up seeing the very same details page.

Yes u can simply flash the kernel to revert..

Is 18 better than 18.1?

Franco kernel v18
My experience with Franco kernel v18 is that for the first day it has bad battery drain (lasted about 12 hours) because something was preventing the phone from sleeping. After the initial run though, the phone starts sleeping again and lasts about 40-48 hours (some wifi, SMS, short calls). Didn't try 18.1.

what is you rom, antifaust?

all these links are locked lol they are locked to your acc.

Can someone post working links to v17 and v18 BFS kernels? I've seen links to these before here and there, but can't find them again.

Awesome post (until the dl links work lol), I was looking for these. I get better battery on v18 than 18.1.

I have flashed hundreds of ROMS.. I know where people can go wrong while flashing ROMS
And I don't think I did something silly because I got soft brick twice.

If you're into 2.2 try AtiFroyo. It's pretty decent but there's plenty of GB roms that are pretty much flawless.
I tried it using both XRecovery and CWM.
Anyways ,I am back to GDX

Weird.
It could be that you have a corrupted file(s). Have you tried downloading the files again?
Also, from where are you downloading the files? If you're downloading using your phone, you might want to try downloading using a PC.
As you might have noticed, this thread had 7 posts only in over a year.. That alone should let you know the quality of the rom.
Try FroyoPro. It's bug-free.

I have been moving from rage to mesa to panic with no problem until today... so i went back to rage (from panic) and it still dont work.. i am using the jellysandwich rom..
UPDATE: Now i went to mesa again and it works now.... would love to have panic though...
If you back to stock rom, its better to flash the stock kernel.
Other kernel may make problems.
Sent from my WT19i using Tapatalk 2
ok.. this is really wierd...
as I said, I have been experimenting with kernel and rom combinations and now, something is wrong with my phone..
It seems that only MESA can access my wifi now.. i have tried Rage and Panic and they cant seem to scan my network properly...
my device is Satsuma and my Rom right now is the jellysandwich..
Any ideas what is wrong?
As I said, i reflashed Rage (not working wifi), reflashed Panic (not working wifi) then reflashed both again (no good) but when I went to Mesa (i did not even delete the wlanfixed) i can connect to wifi... what is going on???
flash the stock kernel and then flash rage or panic. It should work.
hit thanks if I've helped!

battery charge bug

I need help. While my phone is turned off and i charge it, we all get thebattery icon with a circle loading at first and then showing us the percentage of battery. Right? Well in my case the loading circle stucks and then the screen goes black so i cant check the battery percentage with hone off. But the phone charges correctly. Currently i am on simplicity v4 with stock kernel. Any ideas? (i used odin to go to stock rom and kernel and the same problem happens in stock too)

Same bug here (i'm using Simplicity v4).
Flashing twice via odin helps to solve this problem.(flash twice or it wont work)
I'm also using simplicity rom (v3), and in my case there is no problem.
