HSPL - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys
I was expermenting with some stock roms.
I then rommed back to stock (latest) on HTC website.
Did n loose my HSPL 2.08?
Where can i see if it has been lost?
Thanks!

Turn off your device, then turn it back on pushing 2 buttons at the same time, vol. down plus power on. This will bring you into the multicolor bootloader screen.
If you want to get rid of HSPL, you must use either HSPL4.exe or flash your stock ROM via SD card method.

I can't get into bootloader mode!!! Did I just get a brick?! Help me please!!

After update successfully the bootloader and radio (hard spl 2.47 and 3.42.50) from the stock USCC bootloader and radio I couldn't get past HTC screen logo. I noticed I could get into bootloader mode but I read something about take the battery out for a few minutes and after that I couln't get past HTC screen neither get into bootloader mode. I was reading about something called "download mode" brick!!! Am I one...
any help it would be greatly appreciated

Marcelo
Are you holding power, camera, and reset to enter bootloader?
You said you upgraded the SPL and the Radio...but what ROM are you using? Are you still on a stock ROM?
I tried to get into bootloader with camera + power + reset button with no success. I still have the stock rom in it!!!
Did you hold then all in at the same time for 5 seconds?
Yes I did!
You could try to install a new rom when you get to the htc screen. But I doubt it installs.

NOTE: Always flash from bootloader mode!!!

What does this mean? I have flashed roms while just being connected to the conputer, the rom flash utility. Is this saying that I should save it to a sd card and flash that way while in the bootloader mode (never have been in bootloader mode but read a little about how to get into it.) Thanks for any help.
Just a Noob looking for help.

naw it means put the phone in bootloader, hold volume down + power + put the stylus in at the same time..hold till you see the tri colour screen. then plug the phone into the usb (the word 'serial' will change to 'usb) and then run the RUU like normal
hope that helps mate
taking advantage of this thread, If I want to flash to latest sprint ROM can I just flash this rom if my phone is already unlocked? Flashing to latest sprint rom relock my device and change radio?
I always flash a dump version but I want to try the new from sprint.
Thanks for your answers.

help! stuck on startup!

just cooked a rom, installed it, and now it is stuck on the touch pro startup screen and will not boot. I tried hitting the buttons to go to boitloader and install a rom but the computer can't find the phone since activesync isn't being used on the phone, and I tried hard resetting using buttons on phone and it works but it still hangs on starup screen no matter how many hard resets. help someone!
Flash back
When this occurs it was a bad flash (from my experience). What you need to do is:
1. Flash back to the stock rom, once there,
2. Hard reset your phone (always wise). Once this is done,
3. Flash away my friend, flash away.
If you dont know how to get your phone to bootloader mode, softreset and press the power key, vol down, and center button and you will be in bootloader, connect your usb and you know the rest.
Hope this helps.
Go here to learn how to flash from your SD card. This will get you past the cycle you are dealing with.

Make sure you are using the proper ROM for your phone:
CDMA for CDMA phones
GSM for GSM phones.

I flashed hardspl and ran an android rom for about 2 hours. then the phone freaked out, and now it will not boot past the pink tmobile splash screen. so i try reflashing hspl as well as normal 2.08 spl and nothing, now the phone wont leave the 3 color screen saying rom error. what gives and how can i get back to stock? thanks for the help
Try installing an original rom from sd card.
Try this
Take batt out reinsert
Hold vol down and keep pressing it now press and release power button
In rgb screen bootloader connect usb to pc ( should change from serial to usb as u connect the cable)
Flash hspl again
Download task 29 and run it progress bar at 99% hold vol down button as phone reboots to rgb bootloader screen
Flash stock HTC Rom 3.14
This should get ur winmo back

Take a pic, your description is a bit confusing.
Take a pic of whatever screen(s) u get and maybe we can help.

[Q] Stuck in Bootloop with no accessible Backup

So the closest other thread I've found for this was http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1214668 in the wildfire threads. I attempted to flash Cyanogen 7RC1 on my HTC Aria but ended up stuck in a bootloop. Also my backups are not working and I simply wish to know if i can flash back to the stock rom as this is the only custom rom I've attempted to use. Any help and advice is appreciated :3
Did you use Unrevoked or Revolutionary?
i used UnRevoked when i rooted and have ClockWork Recovery installed
You can use either of these applications:
http://www.mediafire.com/?cj56c2gfk86k8oe - This is the original Android 2.1 (Eclair) installer for the Aria. It will put your phone just like it was before you rooted.
http://www.mediafire.com/?mch2657rdy8aqct - This is the latest official release, Android 2.2.2 (Froyo), for the Aria. It will be very similar but you can take advantage of having a somewhat updated software version. HOWEVER, please be aware that if you install this one, you cannot downgrade back to the 2.1 (which is what you had before).
The installation process is the same for both of these. Since you can't boot the phone properly, what you should do is turn the phone completely off (pull the battery out if necessary, then put it back in). Then hold down the volume down button and press power, then release volume down after a second or two. You should be at the HBOOT screen. Wait about 15 seconds and press the power button again to go to the FASTBOOT screen. Then leave your phone in this state, run the application on your computer, and connect the USB cable when the application tells you to.
