Hey all, I meant to post in here but I can't due to the 10 post limit,

After installing the arabic fix through VRTweaks my phone reboots and stays on the samsung screen, doesn't go anywhere from there... I am running VR 2.0 with the K1G modem and kernel.
I think the problem is in the 4th part because it never says that it actually installed, when I click on it it says downloading but never actually installs.
Any ideas how to fix this? I really need arabic support on my phone!

Hay guys,
in the german board pocketpc.ch someone started a thread saying he was successfull running a 2.2 custom ROM on his X10.
He also posted a screenshot showing that. What do you think, is anyone able to say if this is a fake or not? Does anyone know this guy? Of course he didn't post any tutorial so far so perhaps it is our friend LordPhoenixSalvation who also came up with his cool ROOT-method ^^

I still don't believe it.. could be a 5 minutes work editing build.prop but it can be true too..
If they made a customer Froyo Rom...
Why would they keep the S E background and colours?!
Yeah, it doesn't get much hoaxier than that. Easy mod to make. Not to mention the theme and one would think that a custom rom would be using a custom kernel rather than the stock SE one. And the url "customfroyo.com" featured in the screenshot isn't even owned by anyone.

the phone app crashes whilst making/receiving calls from known contacts. for unknown contacts, no problems. how can i fix it?
also the application/home button does not work or that the icons altogether disapppear, how do i remedy?

There's another thread crying about the same issue. The KP8 leak is not ready for daily use, so whining about the bugs is pretty useless. If you are a noob, and do it anyways, at least do it in the same thread, so we don't have to scroll past 10 similar and useless topics while browsing the forums. Thanks.

In simple words .
There are no BUGS in KP8 its a test build not for use by the public not released by Samsung and should never be used by Noobs especially if they do not understand the very basics . I should point out that as its not a Samsung released firmware your warranty in simple terms is now void .
You need to return to stock or your nandroid backup .

Hi guys. I have posted my problem in the CM 10 forum, but no one has replied to me. I'm not sure if I'm the only one with this problem or what.
After installing the CM 10 (problem was also available with ICS) I found out that the magnetic sensor and proxemity sensor are not working. I'm not sure what is the problem or how to correct it. With ICS someone suggested to remove the battery for about 5 min and put it back. That worked for ICS but not for CM10. Also I have noticed now the red led that lights in the dark is not working (I think it is the light detector)

have u tried changing ur kernel and seen for the issue

Hello there. I think I'm having the same problem as the OP I searched the who;e forum until I reached this post. My question is. How do I know which kernel is compatible with CM10 and I assume changing the kerenl would be the same as installing it the first time.
P.S. I also think bumping your post is not a good practice and should wait till an expert sees your post and replies to you accordingly:laugh:

So i was wondering if anybody could find a fix for the quote above me in the rom of EclipzeRemix's "Speed Rom 7.8" ?
I would of posted this question in his thread but i didn't have 10 post yet so i'm posting here.
and if there is a fix, please post ASAP ! it's just that this bug is so annoying .

As far as I've read there is no current "fix" for that particular "problem". And, if Eclipze himself has acknowledge it and hasn't changed it I don't think it can be changed.
Hello guys,
i recently flashed this ROM (S.K.R.T. SVN 1.7) in my device and i'm having some issues. Overall it's good, working smoothly, faster than the stock ROM but:
- Video Call it's not working
- Cannot access the "Data Network Settings", i get the message "unfortunately, settings has stopped.
- The notifications for incoming SMS are in Chinese, although the language is set in English.
- When lowering the notification panel, if i hold my finger pushed anywhere in the right part of the screen the Power Menu appears.
The "R explorer" that comes with the ROM is in Chinese so i had to find another explorer and installed the "Root Browser" app from playstore but it restarted and several processes didn't start, where stopping continuously. Now i'm using "ES explorer" and it's working well.
Is there anyone that can help me on these issues?

As i can see in that link of SVN rom thread.
1)Video calling is not wrk'ng as some people are facing issues and reported the same to the devloper for now
I will try to post ur issue there and see if any one can reply for the same with some wrk around

thanks a lot for your help, but the thread that you posted it in is for SGS2 E120L only, my device is E120S.
the link that i have added above is the one that i got the ROM from so i think i can get help from there. if you could post it there would be very thankful, sorry for the inconvenience.
