Sprint
It's $49.99 I'll have mine by tomorrow.
Hate to tell you this man. But it looks like you'll still need the MHL adaptor to use it with HDMI. And thats RIDICULOUS on HTC/Sprint to charge $50 for a USB dock, and then still not include an additional charger or any MHL hardware.
MHL adapter compatible for video-out functionality (connects to rear 5-pin microUSB - sold separately)

Sounds like false advertisement. States video dock but then says mhl compatible. Hmmmm. Should be charging dock, mhl compatible.

Thanks for letting us know. A little pricey, I'll wait and see what other aftermarket ones become available in the coming weeks.
I'll wait till they integrate with a hdmi out...no point of buying a dock and a mhl adaptor...
iGrip has a desktop dock, hard to find
ebay have cheap generic dock, not as pretty looking but should be functional and MAY fit TPU cases, I have one on the way from HK and will report if TPU fit or not when i get it

I have now managed to break 2 of the cheap headphone adaptors, and I'm starting to get a bit hacked off - not only with the cheap, fragile chinese rubbish available, but also with HTC for not bothering to stick a standard 3.5mm headphone socket in.
Can anyone recommend a decent alternative to this:

+1 for this adapter. I was lucky and my HTC Fuze came with one of these and I can use it with either phone.
What sort of size is this unit? It looks pretty bulky... wanted to try and keep the size down if possible.
it is not too large. It might be a bit larger than others but I've had mine since last year and it is still working great. My friend had one he bought from ebay and it only lasted for like 3 months and it crapped out.
the plug is about the length of your index finger and about 1.5-2" across.
mine came with the sprint diamond, back when I was with sprint. Works like a charm though.
you could try some thing like this

Thanks for the advice guys!
Has anyone got any suggestions for the above?
Thanks.
I'm using an LG plug for a non-7 LG Optimus phone (3D/C900/7Q), which seems to work ok. It's 5.1V compared to 4.8V on my european charger, but I checked and the device doesn't get too hot and it charges fine AFAICS.
Mine came from Handtec with a 2 pin Euro type charger, they just sent me a travel plug to go with it. Will any micro USB charger not work? I use whatever's lying around (HTC and Nokia) and they seem to do the job fine.
The original charger is called "LG STA-U14UD" and/or "LG STA-U13UD"
Looks like this:

And is available apparently from ebay sellers like this and this.
Here and here are examples. No affiliation.
Also for completeness, there's one on Amazon but it doesn't have a USB cable plug, it's wired:
Mine arrived from Germany to the UK with the LG STA--U13ER European 2 pin charger. The seller had included a two pin to UK adapter. Works OK and saves me taking an adapter when I work in Europe.
Does anyone know where I can buy one of these? It's a Motorola car dock cable. It allows a single connection to the phone on one end with a USB (for power) as well as an AUX input on the other. I can't seem to find just the cable. I don't want to have to purchase the entire dock!

The cable itself won't work with charging. I get my gf the Droid 3 and got the car dock for free and that's the cable it comes with. found out that without the dock itself the cable is pretty much useless. It won't really charge anything and aux won't work either. Tried it on my Rezound while driving her car and also with her phone too

So I found this while on my favorite crappy Chinese website DealExtreme.
WIRELESS CHARGER
Its a wireless charger and the receiver that you can add to the back cover of any phone. At $25, I can't pass that up.

I was just browsing Amazon, and ran across a 3.0 otg cable. Has anyone got this? Just wondering if it is any faster than a regular cable?
I think I might get it, since my ferret decided to use mine as a chew toy.

It'll only be faster if you're using a USB 3.0 peripheral (e.g. flash drive). Given that USB 3.0 external hard drives are more common than USB 3.0 flash drives, this won't be a benefit for most people. 99% of flash drives in people's pockets are USB 2.0, which means whether they use this cable or the normal microUSB (USB 2.0) version, they're still going to be reading and writing at USB 2.0 speeds.
thanks, may pic one of these up.
I have it and it works great.
Ordered one.
