I'd also love to know of a way to get some music I've uploaded to Google Music off to burn to a CD. Should have thought of that before I deleted what I uploaded...

Hi all.
Now that some WM6 roms are coming with HTC Audio Manager I have been having a play with the software.
Does anyone know how to get it to sort your music via track number when you access it by album? By default it sorts by alphabet which seems pretty dumb to me.
I'd love any help as it seems like quite a decent audio player app.
Cheers.
My gues would be to include the track number when you rip your albums
yeah all the info is in the mp3 tags. they work fine under media player.
thanks anyway... any other suggestions?
Has anyone figured out how to get this to not put all the tracks alphabetically?
good work
thanx alot
I'm using Listen by Google right now for my podcasts but there are a few I can't seem to find that I want to listen to. They seem to be only available through itunes. I hate itunes and do not want to install that crap on my computer. Is there another app that will stream podcasts that is better than Listen?
Can't you just manually add the stream in Google Reader and add the 'Listen' label?
Well the one I really want to listen to is Tiesto's Club Life, its a weekly trance podcast. I've only seen it through iTunes and I can seem to find a way to add it to Google reader.

just manually add that url to listen.
Manually adding is only way to fly.
I just checked Stitcher and they have Tiesto's Club Life on there. Great program, I've used it for a few months with no real issues.
Cool thanks guys I'll see what I can figure out.
Edit: that link worked, thanks a lot. Now I can stream it while at work.

Player Pro does this.
Agreed +1 on player pro (current player with sense skin)
Also use the folder option as well...so that option won me over entirely
I think there is like one more player that offers a folder option (trust me I went through them ALL) but cant think of it to save my life...might of been miui player??? idk?? dont hold me to it...
I think Mixing had folder option as well. I started using Player Pro a couple years ago and never looked back.
It's good but i prefer poweramp

It has a nice interface, but messing with the EQ too much causes it to hang. And if music is playing, you can't control it in any way, the only solution is to force close the app.
I usually just use Amazon MP3 to play music. The stock Blur player leaves a lot to be desired, and Google Music doesn't (seem to?) differentiate between cloud and local playback. With Amazon MP3 it's real easy. Plus, I buy music from them and I've ripped and uploaded my CDs to their cloud (and to Google's, it's nice to have options, heh). It isn't a great player, but it's reliable. And while I enjoy music, I don't play it on my phone often enough to need a fancy player.
But, thanks for the link, it was fun to try out.
I switched to a Galaxy S III from iPhone about two weeks ago. I love everything about it, except the music management. I want to sync my phone with my iTunes library, while still using my stock music app. This is the reason I don't want to use doubleTwist because when you change a playlist on the phone, it doesn't sync between doubleTwist and the stock music app. I thought about using Google Music and have it all uploaded. How can I get my offline Google Music to sync with the stock app - playlists and all?
I could also use Amazon Cloud Player if it syncs better.
iSyncr from Google play. Works Perfect for me.
Isyncr works great.

Another vote for iSyncr. Great app.
I also use iSyncr together with their Rocket Player app. Works great with iTunes.

so I have never heard of isyncer but is it better then easy tune sync?
I'm a big fan of the iSyncer - keeps everything synced up wirelessly and can be set to sync at intervals. Quick question for the others using it... have you noticed any problems with the stock music player?? When I go to the list of playlists the phone freezes up and I cannot scroll up and down and finally just have to wait until the phone ask me to shut down or wait. If i'm on artist, album, songs it will scroll up and down, no problem... not sure if it is the playlist files that is freezing things up?? Anybody else seeing this? J
You can use DoubleTwist too. It'll sync to your iTunes and you can select which playlist you want to sync, and bam... done
Sucks that doubleteist runs so slow though... I've tried it a few times in my Mac and SLOW is an understatement

Never had that problem and I use the stock music player.
Howmany playlists do you have? I think I'm sitting around 45... maybe that's why? But then i would think the artist, albums would freeze too since there are more of those... any 3rd party app works just fine though... except rocket player, the album covers blink/flash when looking at an artist's albums....

Doubletwist runs slow and can't upload files bigger then 10mb (320 quality mp3s)
I looked around and saw some topics on this but didn't find a solution. It seems as though the music that I put on my internal storage isn't able to play on google play music. Any ideas on why this is? The simple fix is to take the songs out of the internal storage, which I haven't tried yet, but I am currently using those songs for either a notification sound or ringtone. I don't understand why it would still have a trouble requesting the song, even though the song is still on my Itunes. Thanks guys
Weird. Some do and some don't on mine. Never noticed cuz I use Poweramp as my player. My solution would be pay a couple bucks for Poweramp and move on with life, although I know I won't be able to let it go. Other solution would be to upload songs to Google Play Music.

The HTC One doesn't support some music formats. Here is the HTC Sync Manager FAQ: http://www.htc.com/www/software/htc-sync-manager/?section=FAQ
A solution would be to convert the files into one of the music format the One does support
