I just noticed that I have some surface scratches on my 3D! I can't believe it. I keep it in my pocket all by itself. I did the same thing with my EVO 4G and never had anything happen to the screen in over a year.
Has anybody else had this happen?

I happen to disagree, it does have gorilla glass , but gorilla glass is not unbreakable or so hard you can't scratch it. It's just a little tougher but its still GLASS!!

I'll have to take some when I get home as I don't have any way to get them while at work.
I may try to exchange it today anyways, the capacitive button light bleeding and the rotated screen bother the hell out of me, and the scratches are so light it really takes a lot to see them.

not scratches, but i see few dust particles inside though. i got it monday evening, and tuesday morning there was dust inside. i dont know how? thinking to take it back to replace.
A pocket is a pretty harsh place.. still not sure why people wont use a belt pouch.

Heh, I bought the same ones, before I got the phone, just to have a screen protector from day 1, since Boxwave doesn't have theirs yet. I gotta say, I was expecting cheapos but I was pleasantly surprised by those. They were pretty good quality.
If screen scratches are that big of a concern people, why WOULDN'T you put a screen protector on? A quality screen protector takes nothing away from the screen quality and saves you the dread of seeing scratches.

They need to make it as a backside cover replacement rather than a wrapper case. You'd think thicker battery replacement would include a kickstand with back cover replacement.

Yea, let's not give them more ram, more memory, dual cores, latest version of android, latest (unreleased) version of sense, 3d cameras, bigger battery (both are why there is no kickstand), better screen, better resolution, or anything else new. Let's just give them a kickstand instead.
The quality of the people on this site has dropped dramatically over the past few months.

I've ordered this case for my Amaze, but haven't got it yet. I've had the same case for previous phones. As for the lock snap, bend the tab a little so that it locks better.

I heat bulky cases...
Aluminum with a thin layer of anti scratch stuff, so what absorbs the shock when you drop it? Looks like the aluminum would dent and break your phone. Dosent look like a lot of protection to me. D3O all the way. No im not so girly that the buttons are to hard to push. Dont be weak people its made like that on purpose so if its dropped on a button........ U finish that.

Heh, no worries. I was really entertaining myself there. I rock the D30 too. Is yours black or were there any other colors that came out after I got mine. There were a bunch of girly colors and black when I went into the store.

It does the trick, but the raised screen bezel isn't fully protected, the damn thing weighs as much as the phone, and its almost impossible to push the power button on top.

I agree, except well, I've gotten used to it and like it now, lol, except for the unprotected bezel, which I'm hoping it never falls on.

I got my TPU case for under $3. But I wouldn't pay more than $7. Personally, I would wait until the phone is officially out before purchasing.

That's my theory right now. The only thing I have bought so far are NFC tags but they should work on any NFC enabled phone.
I'm also curious if there is a truly clear tpu case (or otherwise).
Not translucent white, smoke, etc. A truly colorless clear case.
So far all I have is a skinomi shield which protects against scratches but not impact.

I'm guessing that the one I bought on Ebay is as clear as they can get, for TPU. I can read through it,so it's fairly clear.

Yeah, I'm looking for one that is colorless and clear. So if I were to put it over a black phone, it would still appear to be black.
I would consider the one in your link to be translucent white. To me, a clear case allows whatever color is below it to show through transparently.
I guess they can't make TPU transparently clear.
I have a clear case for the 3vo and after a while of use it turns brownish clear and looks awful but with the fact that they are cheap I guess $5 for a few months of coolness wouldn't be to bad. just don't expect it to stay clear clear forever

I ordered that same case... Not impressed. The inside is frosted causing it to not be clear. I'm also waiting on a perfectly clear tpu, which they CAN make....I had one for the the EVO 4G...
I want one soooo bad, I need to show this work off....

Yes the surface case works very well with pretty much all TPU cases. That is the setup i have been using on my last couple of phones.
Received mine from Amazon earlier today. Just got around to installing it. As always, Diztronic comes through again! I wouldn't use any other case! Fit and finish is superb, the camera protrusion is protected from getting scuffed up on the desk, and the kickstand is still very easily to get to.
I have used your cases on my Epic Touch 4G, my Moto RAZR Maxx work phone, and now of course on my EVO LTE! Great job guys and THANK YOU for another excellent product!

I have the Zagg full body but it doesn't cover the two edges on the back. I can't tell from the picture but I'm guessing the Realook one doesn't either. Can you confirm?

Realook covers the front and back only.

I have this as well and I'm very happy with it. After a couple of days the screen feels as nice as a naked one, and the only bubbles I have are some small ones at the very edge that keep getting smaller. Don't even notice them unless I look for them. The rear one is completly bubble free and you wouldn't even know there's one just by looking at it.
I should mention that I'm usually terrible at putting these things on, but felt it was worth it since there's glass on both sides. I'm jealous of how bubble free yours is. Nicest protector I've used, but I've never tried the Zaggs.

I want to buy a front screen protector at least because somehow I got 2 scratches on it today somehow :/, but I feel like I would completely mess it up

I work in cellular construction and I have yet to scratch mine. Zagg is junk fyi

Well mine looks like straight poo. Front and back. Just throwing my two cents in considering I've had it for two months. You can also replace your zagg anytime at best buy. Good luck finding a real look retailer.

Zagg also feels like crap, makes the phone look and feel cheap. Not to mention over priced.

Over priced yes but with life time replacements... How do you say no? If my OG wasn't my camera I'd show you how awful it looks. It scratches SUPER easy. You'll see after about a week of use that it sucks

Did you buy it from Amazon or Ebay? Try to contact them and see if they can do anything for you. I had an issue and they took really good care of me.
I got this because I did not like how the Zagg looked and felt (the orange peel, rubber feeling of the non-HD ones). And I did not want to spend $25 for just a front protector.

I got it off amazon..
I'm pretty sure the only zagg for the OG is the HD one with the non rubbery Orange peel look..

I think there is a HD and a non-HD version.
The one from the zagg site is $15 for the front. The one from Best buy is $25 and says HD which leads me to believe the $15 is non-HD. The cut-out is even different.

Do you keep your keys in the same pocket as your phone? I've had my Realook front and back screens on for about 2 1/2 weeks now and have zero scratches in either side. Of course I treat this thing like a newborn baby. I'm guessing you don't. Anything is going to scratch up if you don't make at least some attempt to keep sharp/rough objects away from it.

Its a phone. I treat it as a phone. I wear my keys around my neck and I only have a pack of cigarettes and a lighter in my pocket. Its a poor quality screen protector that scratches and gets extremely dirty easily. That's my review

Well I'm not selling the damn product but I don't know how you manage to get so many scratches on your phone. Been about a month for me. I use it in the field and home. Not a single scratch. But I paid for mine cash so maybe I just have the motivation to take better care of it.
