Google Voice... - Vibrant Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Since yesterday, my google voice keeps logging out and I have to set up my account every time I click on the icon....anyone else having this issue and is there a fix?
Thanks

Just the other day, I had that problem. If you have ROM Manager and a recent backup, you can restore to that backup and reinstall the app. I did that and problem solved.

Google C2DM & CHECKIN SERVICES

Hi, i have this problem all the time. When ever i flash a new rom GOOGLE C2DM and CHECKIN SERVICES GOOGLE will cause wakelock and the only way i found to disable this is to go into titanium and freeze google calendar sync and google contact sync. All this is on top of me already disabling google backup service in settings. Anyone know why i have this problem?
P.s when i say wakelock i mean serious battery drain, like 10% in 20mins

Just a guess:
Have you wiped cache partition in recovery mode (Volume UP + Home + Power)?
If have CWM recovery mode, try to clear Dalvik cache (for the Java VM) too.
This helped me sometime ago with a Google Talk issue.
Good luck !
Hi,
I also have the same issue, Checkin Service wakelock every ~4 seconds,
Could you tell me how to fix it?
My issue occurred right after I updated to XWLP7 via Samsung Kies, I had wiped cache partition once via recovery, but didn't help..
Thanks,
Best Regards,
Widita

[fixed] "error processing purchase df-bpa-09" on market after NAND restore

hi there
i use the omega 9.1 rom for about a week or so now and it's working great.
today i've done a nand backup and flashed paranoid android, and restored my backup after data+cache+dalvik wipe.
my only problem is that i get "error processing purchase df-bpa-09" whenever i try to DL an app from the market(free\paid).
i've cleared market cache and even uninstalled updates, disable and enable my google sync , fixed permissions, changed locale to english and rebooted sevral times.
*i have also tried via WIFI\3G, and to DL from the web with my acount.
but the exact same problem persists.
is there anything i can do before flashing the rom again ?
Have you heard of google?

how do one remove the google account? there is always a need for a google account in the system.
thanks!
There is always need but doesn't mean you can't remove it.
Settings| Accounts and Sync
Hit your Google account and hit remove account.
You can add it back. And problem solved.
For me clearing the data of Google service doesn't work.
Even with reboot.
Remove account works.

[Q] 3rd Party Google Apps Not Syncing

Hey guys,
I'm currently running the most recent cm10.1 nightly for the N4 conversion. Recently all of my 3rd party google apps (voice, calendar, tasks) stopped syncing and I have no idea why. My apps that are specific to the phone (gmail, contacts, play music) all sync without a problem, but I just cant get any of the apps I downloaded from the app store to sync to my google account.
Has anyone dealt with this before and know how I can fix it? I'm guessing it is some sort of a com.android file that went missing when flashing the rom. I've tried factory resetting and flashing clean, and wiping app data and uninstalling each app, but no luck.

Have you tried launching the app first then go into settings>accounts and making sure the desired option is checkmarked.

Yes I have done that. The only thing I can even think of doing now is wiping my titanium backup data and reinstalling all my apps fresh. Ive wiped all data for the apps that aren't working, but maybe wiping all apps would help?

[SOLVED] CM10.2 and Google Calendar not synchronizing

Starting from Aug.30th I noticed my Google Calendar was not synchronizing anymore.
I reinstalled, deleted the dalvik cache and even performed a factory rest. None solved.
The application was asking to enter a missing Google account that in fact was already setup and working for services like GMail.
Everything seemed to be useless.
Until I wen to Settings-->App-->Calendar and un-tick the privacy guard setting. I also disabled it for all new application.
Starting from that I got it working again.
I understand that disabling PG completely can be a problem, but if my phone is unusable it's a bigger problem, to me at least.
Try this if you are experiencing any other strange behavior in application.
Say thanks if this helped
did the same thing last week & now working perfectly, also gosms /handcent were not working with privacy guard uncheck these and now it ll start working

I keep getting 'Unfortunately xxx-app has stopped' errors

Yesterday I rebooted my phone to recovery mode to perform a new nandroid backup. Everything was fine but after having booted my phone again, I get a lot of "Unfortunately xxx-app has stopped" errors. Most of the time the apps are Gmail and Google Play Services but sometimes also Google Play Store and the app just named Google. For now it has never been Calendar, Hangouts, Drive or other Google apps.
Apart from the never-ending errors I have to click away, everything seems to be fine. I get e-mail notifications, I can update my apps etc. The errors seems to appear when the phone is syncing. For example when a new e-mail is received or when I'm writing and sending an e-mail. Also when I'm updating my apps, the errors are appearing. If I put the phone into flight mode there are no errors.
Of course I've tried to reboot my phone. I've also deleted cache and data from different Google apps like Gmail, Google Play Store, Google Play Services and the Google app. I've tried to uninstall the updates from the same Google apps and update again. I've booted to recovery mode and deleted cache and dalvik cache.
On Monday evening just before I went to bed, I rebooted my phone and there were no problems, and from the reboot on Monday evening to the reboot and nandroid backup yesterday I didn't install or update any apps so I haven't changed anything on my phone. Even though I've removed all my newest apps just to be sure it isn't related to a new app or an updated app.
Now I din't have more ideas... Please help me!
