Does anyone know how to replace the Galaxy S2 screen?
I recently dropped my Galaxy S2 and cracked its screen.
I went ahead and bought this part: http://www.sino4n.com/brand-new-ori...-screen-for-samsung-galaxy-s2-i9100_p489.html
But it appears that there's no guide to install it available yet. The two disassembly guides I saw on youtube don't show the screen disassembly.
Can anyone guide me on this?
Proceeded up to here but can't figure out how to get the screen off. Anyone?
The new part has some glue at the back so I'm assuming it's one of those glue things but I don't know where to begin to pry. (New part in photo is lying on battery).

Found out how to do this!

Hi all,
I've got a strange thing in my screen.
I already had those "ink marks", but this morning I got a new fault on the screen.
A vertical line what has a different color than the rest of the screen.
Picture 1 and 2 show the ink marks, picture 3 and 4 show this new thingy I got.

Hi guys!
So yesterday I dropped my 4 week old HOX+. It only fell about 40cm but it landed face down on a solid floor. The result:

}
To get it professionally replaced is gonna cost me more than I can afford, so I'm looking to do it myself. Trouble is, I can't find anywhere that stocks replacement digitizers for the HOX+.
Does anyone know where I can get hold of one? Alternatively, could I use one from a standard HOX? I know I wouldn't have the red buttons, but to be honest I'm not a fan of them anyway, they are difficult to see when not lit.
Thanks.
Hello All, ok I get right to it, I cracked my screen few months back and I just now got around to fitting my brand new screen with frame, I re-fit it perfectly but now when I boot my phone up the screen looks off centre and the android logo seams to be off screen a little and I can not get any service on my phone, has anyone else had this issue? I made sure I did everything correctly and was very careful with the parts.
Thanks

Hi! I recently purchased a used (barely) Tab S3. I've had no problems with it, but I'm a little worried about the screen. There's a portion in the center that's a bit lighter than the rest of it. It's not burn in or anything, but I wanted to know if I should be concerned at all. Thanks!

There's a picture.
I just recently bought a second-hand Galaxy S II after my old iPhone broke down.
I followed some Youtube tutorials and the iFixit guide to take it apart so that I could clean out all the dust and apply some thermal paste.
iFixit Samsung Galaxy S II Teardown Guide
But I'm stuck at the part where I have to pry off the back panel since there is a part of the circuitboard beneath the audio jack that bends when I do.
I didn't want to risk damaging my new phone and none of the guides I found seem to cover it so there might be something wrong with this particular
phone.
Here is a photo of the problem I'm having.

Any help with this would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
