INTRODUCING THE ALL IN ONE ONE-CLICK PERMA-TEMP ROOT+HULU FIX+OVERCLOCK MOD!!!
Building off of previous changes I've made (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1169495), which themselves rely almost totally on other people's great work (Teamwin, etc ) I've added in the proper overclock for EVO 3D. See the previous post for more detailed information. The previous .bat I altered still had commands to install the wrong .ko file (I think it was meant for the sensation.)
OVERCLOCKING IS INHERANTLY RISKY, SO USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR PHONE. I'VE APPLIED THE "STANDARD" OVERCLOCK OF 1.8 GHZ and 1375 Voltage RECOMMENDED BY OTHERS.
INSTRUCTIONS:
This is one-click! After you install the .zip, simply extract all, plug in your phone with charge only and usb debugging ON, then run "Run_ME_Fr3vo_ROOT + HULU FIX + OVERCLOCK. If you just want the root plus HULU FIX, run that file instead. Also, there should be no problem running these .bats on an already-rooted phone AFTER you've run the .bat (and followed the directions regarding overclock that must be followed DURING the .bat process), go into SetCPU and refresh the device, restart the program, etc--you'll see you can slide the Max tab all the way to the right for 1782 MHz! (~1.8 GHz). It's a powerhouse baby!
KEY POINT: FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE .BAT, ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE OVERCLOCK PART! MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO SETCPU AND CHANGE THE SETTINGS LIKE THE .BAT SAYS, THEN MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN THE HOME SCREEN, THEN THAT THE SCREEN IS OFF FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS. IF AFTER THE OVERCLOCK GOES THRU THE PHONE REBOOTS, EITHER YOU DIDN'T WAIT LONG ENOUGH OR ELSE A BACKGROUND PROGRAM WAS STILL RUNNING THAT INTERFERED....MAYBE TRY DISABLING SOME PROGRAMS LIKE JUICE DEFENDER, ETC? (NOT SURE IF IT MATTERS). IT REBOOTED ON ME THE FIRST TIME I DID IT. SECOND TIME I DISABLED A FEW PROGRAMS, WAITED LONGER, AND HAD NO PROBLEM
NOTE: The .Bat is a little sloppy, but I wanted to provide good directions. I might clean it up sometime
That's funny I added overclock to your org. Bat file . Thanks

Nice! Well I hope this helps some people.
Question: have you had any problem with the phone rebooting during the overclock? Are you using the same settings (33 and 1375 volts)? How long are you waiting, and are you shutting down any programs before you proceed?
Last question--have you found it necessary to go into SetCPU 1/2-way thru overclock and set min=384 and max=432 (or whatever it is)? I included that step but not sure if its necessary.
I love all in one's. Thank u.

Does this work on macs?
No issues. My settings are 34 and 1390 volts . No shutdowns just turn phone off while OVERCLOCK is being installed. Have not needed to go back into setcpu. My quad are 3160+ and linpack are 90 - 100

So you POWER OFF the device? Do you mean restart? or just turn off the screen?
If you'r simply turning off the screen, and not having to wait very long, I'm guessing I'm getting the reboot problem from either (a) changing the SetCPU settings and not waiting long enough or (b) some background process like from Juice Defender etc. Any thoughts on what the culprit might be?
So you've gotten it to 34, nice! Where do you notice the most difference in performance? I've yet to find an app/scenario where I can really "feel" the difference. Does having a certain governor/scaling work best (like performance)? My main annoyance has been that with the home screen full of apps (plus 3 widgets, pandora, mspot and smooth calendar) + one more screen full of apps, I always get lagginess when i scroll between them--VERY ANNOYING since I'm running at 1.8 GHz!!
Thanks again for your help mate

Edit: tried Zelda again (N64oid), one of the only apps that EVO seems unable to handle--video has been but music would skip constantly. NO SKIPPING NOW SWEEEEEET.
This worked perfect open let it run and done. Nice job. How about putting a extra stop at 1.5 over clocked so don't always have to go balls to the wall.

Yep, worked good! Thanks, Hulu still said device not supported, maybe I wasnt in desktop but I thought I switched it..oh well, was never a hulu user.
Yeah, maybe an intermediate clock setting...like 1.5 or 1.6 ish. Played about 5 minutes of Asphalt 6 and my battery got a little warm, its all good thanks!
I had the same issueplatform.not.supported. you must update flash before flashing. If.you did it after you will need to reinstall.the.script. works great now

I'm Just curious about the Hulu fix. Does it just allow us to watch Hulu on the web or ts there an apk we can install that will work?
Ok, I made it this far
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE .BAT, ESPECIALLY REGARDING THE OVERCLOCK PART! MAKE SURE YOU GO INTO SETCPU AND CHANGE THE SETTINGS LIKE THE .BAT SAYS, THEN MAKE SURE YOU'RE IN THE HOME SCREEN, THEN THAT THE SCREEN IS OFF FOR AT LEAST 30 SECONDS.
and I get this

a/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko scpll_l_val=33 vdd_uv=1375000
insmod: can't insert '/data/local/tmp/8x60_oc.ko': invalid module format
Any ideas?
My phone doesn't handle the 1.8 ghz well. It does much better at 1.6 or 1.5. When I would use the camera at 1.8 my phone would reboot.

Did you open the .bat file in edit format? aka Notepad or something because if no one else is having problems it probably has an error in the code. Pull your battery and try it again with a fresh download...Prolly work

This is an app I've been working on for a couple days now. I know its not a original idea but its something I wanted and therefore I had to make this app
Reboot on button press
Reboot to recovery
Reboot to bootloader
Hot reboot
Power off
Schedule reboot
Works on Sense
REMINDER! This is a BETA release which means there may be bugs in the app. Use at your own risk.
There may be a problem with the app that makes it bootloop after a couple of days. I think I've fixed this issue but just in case, use the widget! If you phone starts to bootloop, hit the disable button and it will stop. If this does happen (bootloop), please let me know in the comments.
Keep in mind:
The icon is generic (only colored blue) and will be changed.
All menu options *should* work.
Disable/Enable schedule works.
Menu - Settings - Backup and Restore works (for me).
Menu - About - works lol.
Menu - Setup - setup the schedule (same for button).
Menu - Quit - does what it says eh?
Only functional (enable/disable) widget works.
Press the "hot reboot" button before scheduling (requires its own SU permission).
Anyhow.. with that said, I would like testers for what does *work* so far thanks!
Reboot Scheduler 10/15/2011
Changelog:
10/01/2011 - Initial release.
10/05/2011 - Enable/disable widget works perfectly now, fixed the bootloop issue (hopefully).
10/11/2011 - Works on HTC Sense now. In fact, should work on any ROM (so long as you're rooted of course). Fixed issue with setup button on HTC Sense. New landscape button layout. Changed enable/disable widget background to transparent black.
10/13/2011 - Added ability to change the background color (in settings). Added checkbox option to disable/enable confirmation screen when hitting reboot buttons (in settings). Added power off as an option and button on main layout and ability to schedule shutdowns. Fixed landscape layout for our phones (no more scrolling).
10/15/2011 - Had issues reported with bootlooping after 4 or 5 days. Re-wrote the alarm manager code to have hopefully fixed this issue for good. (I wasn't setting my Calendar event with the current system time in milliseconds, my bad! lol). Make sure to uninstall old version before installing new one!

Found a bug! If you set the repeat daily and it reboots, on second reboot (I believe) it will boot loop (at least it did on my phone). Must have made a mistake in my calculations when setting the time for next reboot (that's what I get for programming so drunk lol). So uninstall the app to be safe or disable schedule then reboot normally to be safe. I will re-post on here once I fix it.

Got the problem resolved, added hot reboot option. Uploading and will post new app here soon. Oh, and a reminder: if you're going to set hot reboot as the scheduled reboot; you must first hit the hot reboot button and accept the SU permission. In other words, hot reboot first before scheduling so it gains the SU permission.
Haven't run into any issues so far with the updated version. I'll let you know if I run into any problems

So far all functions work perfectly. I will keep u posted about the possible bootloop in a few days or so. Good job on this app, its clean and smooth.
Edit: used several times without a hitch. Will keep u posted as to whether any boot loops occur over the next few days.
Edit: day two: worked flawlessly no bootloops.

Just intalled this today. All the reboots work properly as far as i can tell. I think this is a great idea. I find my phone needs a reboot once in a while and why not let it do that while I'm sleeping.
Here are 2 observations that i had.
When i go to set the time for the schedule the number wheel is very unresponsive. I running the latest miui(10.7). It was very difficult switching the time. Shouldn't be a huge deal now that i got the time right and shouldn't have to switch it again.
The other is i use no frills and when it goes to set the values upon booting up it states, "values not set, unclean shut down". And again probably not a huge deal either as i set the max a 806mhz so its probably not any different running without it. Its just I've been having really good battery life lately and don't want to change anything.
Once again great job on this and thankyou.

That's very strange. On the set time dialog, the TimePicker is standard (un-modified android widget). I'll be flashing MIUI later today and see what I can find. As for the unclean shutdown, it really is lol and unfortunately is the only way I can for now.

Ok. Yeah its the standard time picker that i have for any other app. When i try to spin in slowly i have to do it 3 times to get it to move 1 number. Sometimes i can flick it and it'll spin but who knows where it's gonna land. I understand on the unclean shutdown. Thanks.

Maybe that's something with MIUI. The TimePicker allows you to press the + and - buttons to add and subtract hours/minutes or enter the values with keyboard. I don't know what you mean by spin.. I can press and hold a button on sense and it will keep going up or down in value but there's no spinning that I'm aware of.

Okay, I have a few tips that are likely helpful, or you could help me explore.. If anyone wants to post some useful features that may be overlooked or are hidden, I can update the OP.
First- Ram Utilization - Make that phone even more snappy!
Note- this settings resets after reboot! You would have to change each time you reboot!
Something I have been testing and seems to make a TREMENDOUS and immediate difference, at least in performance(and maybe battery, I guess it would depend on the background process cpu consumption)- the background process limit in developer options..
If you go to settings>developer settings>and change the background process limit to 4 or less(background processes-things that sync, this is NOT the same as activities which has its own setting, you can still multitask). If you want to test it out yourself, either pull down the status bar and click total memory, or get an app that gives you a much better breakdown of uses- I like system tuner, it does a good job. The third tip in this post will give you a shortcut to make it quicker to test.
Here are some screenshots of the ram break down-
This is with STANDARD limit:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Pay attention to all the numbers under memory usage-- now compare to when the limit is set to 4--
It goes from 289mb free to over 400mb free- the user space allocated ram goes from 58 to 83(this is the ram given to what you are actually DOING), and as you will see the rest of the allocated ram for included and excluded system and kernel all went DOWN. This is under FULL load. For these screenshots I went from limit for 4 to standard limit.. but as soon as I limited it to 4 it immediately jumped from 290mb of free ram to over 400 again.
I've been playing with this because I keep seeing people commenting on Keyboard lag- I experience it myself- and when it happens I noticed that there were too many background processes going on.. then again I have over 100 3rd party apps to hog my memory.
AGAIN, there IS a setting for "Don't keep activities- destroy activities as user leaves it"-- that is what would kill multitasking- I still had 8+ activities I could switch too and all were noticably snappier with background process limit of 4(or less). The difference between a limit of 4 and a limit of 1 seemed negligable, so for me I will stick to limit of 4..
Moving on..
Settings Usage- more useful than you might think.. - it may help tame data hungry apps and even reduce wakelocks(saving battery)
If you set a data usage limit you can actually restrict apps from using background data altogether- this is up to you, but may be useful if you ONLY want it to have access to data when it is in the foreground(you are USING it). Like I hate facebook, or I should say I hate that even if I tell it not to sync, it still uses data, still consumes CPU(in betterbatterystats it was number 3).. but if you go to- System Settings>Usage>set data usage limit(must be turned on to work)> click the name of the app>then check the box you'll see below..
..it'll show you a little pie chart of the foreground data(you using it) that is allowed versus what would be blocked. Before I enabled this it was causing wakelocks(wasted CPU), but since I enabled this there are no more wakelocks.. which is explained in the NEXT picture, the warning you get when you choose to enable it..
Which is why it wasn't creating wakelocks, it simply wasn't WORKING when I wasn't using it-- so be aware of that. ALSO be aware that if you enable something like dropbox like I did originally for my example, which I then used to upload these images -- some processes in an app ARE background, so when I shared from gallery dropbox was only a background process.. until I went into dropbox(making it a foreground app) or removed the restriction, or connected to WIFI, the pictures I was trying to share(hint, careful on disabling apps that share things) would never go thru.
As a last note on this feature, when you are in the usage settings you can click the menu button, click usage settings, and enable "restrict background data"(which I believe is a global feature, not sure though) or "show wifi usage".. Clicking show wifi usage enables the two tabs you see at the top of the pictures above, and I am pretty sure that if you click that tab, then an app and disable it THERE, it will restrict background data on the WIFI side(which is how I got facebook to stop wakelock altogether).
If I am wrong about any of this above, feel free to correct me
And I know this is supposed to be JUST ICS features, but this launcher is supposed to be like aosp launcher and has some extra usefulness..
Activities shortcuts with Apex Launcher - Hey, I think it is cool.. maybe someone else will too?
If you have apex launcher(available free in market) and you want to do some testing yourself to see which option for the last tip is better(as an example), the quickest way to the development settings- Longpress or menu button then add>shortcut>Activities>scroll all the way to settings, click expand arrow, scroll all the way down to "Developer options(.Settings$DevelopmentSettingsActivity)" and select it..
If you look through that list of activities, you will see this can be a VERY useful feature that hasn't been around much since Launcher Pro.
Anyways, that is all I can share now..
Very nice! At least I learned a few things! If you know where Face Unlock is and how to hide apps from the app drawer, please post it! I can't find both lol.

Yea, when I was doing research on what it was, there were plenty of guys with the nexus saying the same thing- apparently it got fixed in 4.0.4. Still a worthwhile trick.. I'd like to see if there is a way to set it on boot.

Quadrant isn't a good app, give up on it. Try antutu benchmark, or just don't base any opinions on any benchmark apps- they don't tell you anything.
Gonna give this a shot. Thanks OP!

Hi everybody from tapatalk. Recently I have installed the last Nightly Builds from cyanogenmod9, and when i unlock the screen, automaticaly the screen turn on aigan! I have testet all of options on settings, and I found nothing about it.
Someone know the solution?

same here, and when i dial a no. the phone restarts....this was my first try...n m highly disappointed...i think cynagon is just an over hyped mod n nothing more than tha....
without codeworkx and his team's work you wont have ANY aosp roms
did you undervolt or chagned cpu settings?
or maybe its a app u installed thats overloading the phone
one more thing
cm9 is in nightly phase you cant complain on that
edit: looks like a recent patched messed the build
it is due a fix in time
I tried custom roms for the 1st time yesterday and have to add I am a bit disapointed in CM9. Utmost respect to the creators and the effort they are putting into this.
Here is my list of Issues.
1. No task manager
2. No file explorer (IO on the Play store is ok but not close to the original with works best)
3. Contacts look a bit meh
4. No sliding on contacts
5. No Samsung Dive support
6. The kb is way to small and with my big hands i keep on pressing the wrong keys
7. When I phoned myself from a other number there was no voice coming through on either end
8. .... Uninstalled
There are still a lot of work needed on CM9 from what I could tell and using the latest Nightly build was probably not the right thing to do. Nightly build was from yesterday.
This is in no way to reflect negatively on anyone but just my person opinion and what I experienced
Your personal opinion is bit flawed....
Forget about Samsung stuff and way things work In aosp.
So slide to call that's touch wiz.
Keyboard is Android, not cm9 scad works pretty well you have to get use to it.
If it was your first time flashing than I say please do a full wipe, including formatting system.
Cm9 is very capable of daily driver without any major issues.
Don't get me wrong. It looks awesome. And its very quick and stable from what i could see.
Thats just my personal preference. No point in being rooted if you cant get to the files. CM9 with the default File Explorer would have made it a very different story for me. Task manager is also somewhat a very nice to have cause I install and uninstall a lot of apps on a daily basis and without it is just meh.
It all boils down to personal preference.
left touchwiz for months and dont miss it at all

Contacts look just fine and work just fine.
You have ics task manager
File explorer is not bulletin in aosp, just put one that you use.
Calling and receiving works just fine too.
You certainly have issues with the flash, reflash after full wipe
Full wipe = format cache, data, system, internal storage, dalvik
Try another ROM
There are tons of different ROMs out there. I've tried all sorts but never a CM9 nightly because they warn you it might be broken and tell you not to complain about it.
Try something else and download a decent task manager. A lot of ROMs have one built in but I always revert to ES File Explorer.
It's all about testing and finding out what's right for you. You can always go back to TouchWiz if you want.

Has anyone found a way to enable boot animation sounds on cyanogenmod9? I have read everything I can and have tried everything I have read but still cannot get this to work.
cm9 wallpapers
hi guys!
i'm using cm9 stable and i think is very smooth and fast and looks good too.
i have a question.
i want to remove the static wallpaper, not the live w. or cm9 wallpaper, but the stock wallpapers in 4.0.4 firmware.
but i can't find them using RootExplorer or TB.
can someone help me to find out?
thanks a lot
I've flashed CM9 on my S2 & its very stable & I seem to like almost everything EXCEPT Battery.
It discharges very fast. I end up charging daily.
I browse internet on wifi like for about an hour in a day & the rest of the time I explore the phone settings/features for a couple of minutes.
Voice calls - about 30-45min a day.

How to use the CPU voltage settings ?
How do I know which one is best for my phone ?
The Governers seem to be self explanatory & also when choosing a governer from the menu the CPU Max/min changes accordingly.
But I would like to know the technical details.

Pro Tips
Fix Bluetooth Range
Disable Wifi! This is a known HTC bug, and this is the current workaround.
How to enable "Press and hold back for menu"
Open settings > Display, gestures & buttons > Back button
How to enable Fast Charge (off by default)
Turn on:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
Turn off:
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
How to fix data throttling (not related to rom)
1-Make a backup of your current build in cwm
2-Open root explorer and change r/o to r/w
3-Navigate to Data/System
4-Inside Data/System you will find a folder labeled Throttle
5-Long press Throttle folder and select permessions
6-Change permissions to Owner: read and execute only, everything els should be unchecked, when finished press ok and go back
7-Open Throttle folder and there should be two items in it if your on stock and three if your on Shevron Rom
8-Make copies of all items in throttle folder wether it be two or three and save them on your pc or a new folder on your sd..That way if something were to go wrong youd have your backup and copies of the files
9-Once you have made copies of the throttle folders contents delete them (wether it be two or three) from throttle folder
10-Back out of Data/System and change r/w back to r/o, exit root explorer and reboot

Good morning
Great to see more ROM options coming to the AT&T One.
I have been following the CleanRom development and have a couple of suggestions for Cognition that scott had worked on.
Adding the long press back button for menu is a must have
The tether hack is a must (media Link HD won't work without it)
The Percent Battery Mod is very handy
The Ad Blocking HOST file is another must have
An advanced Power Menu is nice but not a problem if its not in their.
I would like to to see the tbalden sweep to wake and logo menu button built in @ some point
Looking forward to your progress with this project, and thanks for offering it here.

my thoughts after 2 hours of use
Overall it's pretty smooth but it did seem like the screen is a little less sensitive in some apps ( Amazon - Google music - Play store )
9 apps out of date on first play store run ...including play store it's self
Sign up for dropbox on install only nets you a 2 gb account not 25 like the international version
No file manager installed
the home and back buttons seem less sensitive than normal/stock AT&T
Car Icon in app tray - Good, it's not in the AT&T rom's
Hotspot works
LTE Works but the 4G icons are missing
Bluetooth works ... used two different devices no problem
GPS / Maps work fine.
I'll continue testing and keep you posted

I loved that phone man, it was freaking indestructible, me and my room mate would toss our around the house with no worries. And since it was competing against the iPhone 4 for some of its life that was a great feature to win people over.
Also the battery clasp on the back was the most satisfying of any phone I've ever used.
But when it comes to performance I do love my new One!

I didn't do app update yet because I may be ripping out anything available on the market, probably add some options in aroma for them.
I'll look into the dropbox thing, but I am pretty sure that is due to build.prop stuff
filemanagers galore on the market, again, probably something I will add to aroma
sensitivity should be up a bit in the next build, let know
the 4G/4G LTE icons are an AT&T thing, I prefer the ones in there now, much cleaner, again, maybe an aroma option later

Same Here Glad I have the same phone as designgears
I have change my mind on logo2menu, I thought the htc logo was the button, but its a small space above it on the screen.
The reason I like a file manager pre installed is I keep a set of apps on the phone/sd and no way to install them without adding a google account and downloading one. Updating the stock apps is no big deal just kind of a courtesy I suppose. The 3 dot menu takes screen space is why i prefer the long press back.
+1 on the 4G/4G LTE icons are an AT&T thing, I prefer the ones in there now, much cleaner. Agree was just making the observation.
The screen and button sensitivity is high on my wish list. Seems I'm hitting the home and back buttons 3 and 4 times before they respond, never had that on the AT&T Roms.
Took some photos the camera seems normal ...not sure what the fix for it was suppose to do.
Play Music forced closed on the first start but worked fine after that.
4G LTE Speeds seem the same as they were on CleanRom/Stock
Wifi may actually be a little faster now.
It took several hours for the lock screen clock to show my actual city name and not just "My Location"
Couple of benchmarks the Stock One is the higher of the 2
LOL benchmarks

Not sure whats with the "my location", I only saw it on first boot.

Here is my quick guide to installing both FX and XHiFi. You don't have to install both, but I recommend you do for maximum customization:
1) Obviously, download the files and extract both 4.x .apks (the bottom ones.) Make sure your BusyBox is the most current version.
2) Uninstall any other sound mod or DSPs (you can leave HDSoundEngine2 if you have it installed. They are compatible). This includes DSPManager, Noozoxoide, and Nexus Louder. DO NOT delete MusicFX if that is installed on your ROM. You'll need it later. To delete DSPManager, use a file manager with root privileges and go to system\app and delete the .apk.
3) Use this same file manager to put the .apk's in system\app. Do NOT open them. Just put them there and reboot into recovery. Wipe dalvik cache and cache and fix permissions.
4) Open each Viper app. Give them root permission and then wait for it to say it needs to update. For FX, install the CortexA8 with NEON driver. For XHiFi, choose the Ax with NEON. DO NOT do anything else in the mod except install the driver. Reboot into recovery and dc\c wipe, fix permissions (I know you just did it. Do it again. Boot into Android.)
5) Once back in Android, go immediately into Settings\Sound. If you have a section called Music Effects, click it and choose FX and select ALWAYS if you have the option.
6) Plug in your headphones and start a music app. Fire up FX. This time, if FX says it needs to update, you've done the installation wrong. Review the steps above and try again. Hit the top box to enable the mod and then use menu to check your driver status.. Everything should say YES. Don't mess with it just yet...
7) Go into XHiFi and enable the mod. Again, check the driver status and make sure everything says YES again.
8) Now tweak them as much as you want. Set them to however your ears like them. Don't forget to extract IRS samples into sdcard\Viper4Android\Kernel folder (if they don't exist, create the folders), turn on the Convolver in FX, and choose your favorite (http://www.mediafire.com/download/9am1sogfq9lm31d/en_IRSamples_331+IR.zip).
9) If you've followed all the above to the letter and it still doesn't work, try switching to compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, try switching to safe mode (no dc/c wipe and permissions fix needed.)
10) If none of this works...go into system\build.prop and ensure that the line reads:
Code:
lpa.decode=false
If it says true, use a text editor and change it. Most of the time it will say false, but your ROM creator or a mod/app may have changed it.
A couple people here have reported that if you check your driver status and it says it's disabled, you can use the menu button and select 'Switch to Safe Mode', immediately switch it back to Normal Mode and then reboot.
11) If you've done all the above, either you've installed it wrong or it simply won't work with your ROM.
*** Special media player tip: If you use PowerAmp, you have to turn off Direct Volume Control in PowerAmp setttings\Audio\Advanced Tweaks in order for it to sound correct.***
The most common error in installation is people just clicking the .apk to install. This installs the app to data\app instead of system\app. You'll get the warning message that the driver needs to update every time you start the app and when you check the driver status it will say NO for Enabled and Processing (it's not modifying your sound at all.)
I hope this helps some of you, because this is a pure eargasm once you install it right.
Enjoy!!!
