Sorry pple,
I cant post there, in develop area, somebody could tell this newbb how to do that?
Thanks a lot
They realy work great...thanks slaid480 if you hearme
Delete the old lagfree from init.d folder, then just copy v3 there and reboot.
(Use root explorer or ES with root settings for example)
From my Galaxy (ICS RC4.1)
Incase in last post wasn't clear, make sure you have root access, then use a root file browser. Go to /system/ect/init.d and delete the file that says 95lagfree or similar. Then flash the new version using CWM.

delete S95Lagfree in /system/etc/init.d then flash Lagfree V3

it won't. you need to delete it.
should delete the other files in the init.d folder? (00banner, 01sysctl 20userinit ..
Thank you all.
From another forum I got to delete 97lagfree, and observe that there is a S95lagfree. Then i flash LagfreeV3. Now for your indications check again to see i had: S95LagFree (11,67KB) and S95lagfree (37,72KB). I dont noted differences, it works fine...Should i do something else.
Regards
difference is in script same name of it
but its updated and it rly is a bit better
I have some bloatware i wanna remove, like 'Lets golf hd, 'fun&downloads' and a couple of more.
But it seems like i Titanium backup cant find the apk's. I run ICS 4.0.4 rooted and unlocked bootloader, and use explorer to system dir, looking through 'system/app' No apk's
But if i look on 'vendor/app' i see the apk's there. So i copied the apk's to 'system/app', but no luck
What is wrong here?
use this -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26758586#post26758586

Thanks, helped a little bit. But not totally. Some progs are back after reboot. And if i wanna restore them and place them on SD they stop working.
But Still i wonder what is wrong here? Why is it like this? Some screw up from Android Dev? Or Sony?
And i did search, for 2 whole days before i made this post, google, xda, sony forum.
Still your suggestion did not show up in my searches.
But do u suggest we shall not post if our searches does not reach what other ppl find?
XDA is kinda big, there is a lot answers, ..and questions
So for your information, i will still post questions in the Neo section if i do not find it in the Neo section But i promise i will not post it in the ARC section
And to the case: The thread u suggested worked, to a limit. not 100% for my needs.
But for other with a Neo like me, that wanna go through this, please try the link codephus suggested: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26758586#post26758586
Also the App can be found in google play:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...leanup.Inteks.org&feature=search_result&hl=en
Sony Neo and ICS 4..4 are easy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=26980804&postcount=3
well i was trying to encourage others towards doing a through search before they post
anyway, this might sound stupid and you might tried it before but: have you tried flashing 4.0.4 ftf without the "vendor.sin"?

Remove bloatware
Hi @all!
I'm running Android 4.0.4 rooted on locked bootloader Xperia Neo.
Don't know what's the matter but it seems that bloatware in /system/vendor/app/ (such as 'Fun & Downloads', 'Let's Golf', etc) cannot be deleted.
I tried to remove those packages from SManager, Es Explorer and Root Uninstaller with root permission but they just refuse (it gives an error).
Any idea?? How did you remove them and why I cannot?
Tnx a lot!

So, use Root Explorer and navigate to folder and press Mount R-W button, than you ll be able to delete it.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I mounted the partition with R/W permissions.
So, everybody can remove .apk's from /system/vendor/app/?

Ok guys. It might be just my phone.
I'm root and the partition is mounted with R/W permissions and yet it doesn't permit the files to be deleted. It just says that they cannot be deleted.
I tried with several file managers, such as SManager or ES File Explorer.

just give me the updater script. file
here it is thanks
There is no mount and unmout cmd's in the script..
Well iam on phone now...
Simple solution for u is to use any any existing mod's meta-inf folder in ur mod.
Sent from my SK17i using XDA Premium HD app
Have a look at a working updater-script and you will see a huge difference
For example you need a command like
Code:
extract_dir
More set perms and mounting/unmounting system. Please check out a "real" updater-script :good:

Try download some flashable zips and view updater scripts with notepad++
This is the best way to understand how it works.
If I have some time I write a little guide

First make sure that the apk is deodexed. If it is not then first deodex it[check my signature for easily deodexing APKs]
Then place the app in /system/app and set permissions like this -
XX-
X--
X--
HOPEFULLY the apk will appear on your system. Then try opening it and if it force closes then take a log cat of the problem and try to fix the fc. Also copy any necessary libs required by the apk to /system/lib and set permissions.
Also, if the apk shows up without an icon and says null then I don't think that anything can be done. If you take an apk from jb and try to use it in ICS then it mostly will not work since the API Level of jb is higher and ICS is lower.
Good luck

Enable USB debugging in your phone and connect it with your pc. Then run this command - adb logcat
You will see a bunch of many lines and warnings etc. Then open the app and allow it to force close. Then press Ctrl+C on your keyboard to stop the logcat. Then in the logcat check for some lines which talk about some Java coding like NullPointerException in main at line 153 etc. or missing lib etc. It is obviously better if you know java but you can try to fix the fc's by searching and using google in case you don't know what the problem is.

A:At first i thought it was small app related so i remove all small app stuff. Then it was ok for a day. Then FC again. I push back all small app stuff(i backed it up) with correct permissions (see screenshot if not sure how to set) and reboot. No more FC (at least up till now when i am writing.). Hope this helps.
