is chevronwp7 works on mozart? which rom must I load?

To install ChevronWP7 on your HTC 7 mozart, your phone must be in version 7.7008 or lower. With any higher version, you'll not be able to install chevron.
If your phone has an higher version, you'll have to downgrade it. There's some tutorials on internet about this.

You need to unlock the phone with Hard SPL. I am writing a tutorial ATM that should be of help. Should have it up tonight.
hi guys i just got a new hero as old one died, i was going to downgrade it and install instant root the problem is every time i connect it to my pc it comes up as a HTC Dream..
anyway here is info you will need
im running windows 7 x64 ultimate
its a stock orange uk htc hero running the 2.73.61.66 ROM
so what i wanted to do was downgrade to version 2.73.61.5 and use instantroot.apk then install new recovery image and flash back to villainrom coz i forgot how bad 1.5 is
please help guys its doing my head in

Install HTC Sync and the plug the phone in with USB debugging on. It should recognise it as My HTC and allow you to run the downgrade exe. Details are in my guide if you are unsure as a part of the "test downgrade procedure" - just do section i as you won't need a goldcard itself just the driver changes.

my mozart nodo has already ... I have to take the first version o.s. and then use the tool chevronWP7.
i must downgrade from nodo to pre-nodo

yes but zune restore the most of them (all apps u install with zune desktop )
Hi all,
When I debrand a HTC Mozart (in my case a TMO-DE), can I use Zune to update all parts of the device (os+firmware+radio+bootloader/spl) ?
After my (extensive) research here in the forum i understand, that:
Only the os will be updated by zune on a debranded mozart. the radio and the bootloader will not be changed and stay at the version of the htc rom from debrand process.
Also this can lead to problems with the camera and color banding.
The only way to update the radio and bootloader of a debranded mozart is via RUU.
To completely debrand a phone, so u can use zune to update everything, you have to use goldcard.
Ansar gave some advise how to update the radio and bootloader of a debranded phone with RUU here and here. But unfortunately I didn't really get what he meant. Could some please explain this to me in a little more detail?
Please correct me if anything I wrote is wrong or incomplete !!

PS: I ask this because I want tethering on my TMO-DE Mozart and Deutsche Telekom is not going to release a tethering update, but on the other hand I don't want to start flashing (custom)ROMS. I really got used to the comfort of updating with zune and don't want to always flash new rom via RUU when microsoft releases an update.

I have a telstra htc 7 Mozart running software 7.5.
NOT rooted.
Os version. 7.10.8107.79
Firmware. 2250.21.40600.841
Bootloader. 4.6.2250.0(129129)
My problem is I can't get tethering to work. It doesn't show up in the phone. It says there is no more updates. But as you can see it hasn't updated the firmware or Bootloader.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Seems fixed now. I just rooted it and installed a custom rom.
