Does any one have Total Recall working on their Vibrant. Its not working on mine. I can record the calls..but when I play them..I hear a loud sound and nothing else.
If anyone of you has any other app working on vibrant for recording both incoming and outgoing calls...please share your experience as well.
Thanks.
I am able to record calls using tapeatalk. I've only been able to do this on a 2.2.1 ROM though. Vibrace and Bi-Winning both worked with tapeatalk. Hope that helps
hmmm...im currently running team whiskey's bionix 1.3.1 on 2.2.
I guess I may have to flash another rom which I really dont wanna do.
I read somewhere that recording calls only works on some vibrants and not others. Have no idea y. I tried total recall on my phone and nothing but on a friends from work it works fine so who knows

Can you record calls without having speaker on during calls?
Related
I have seen voice/call recorder app in market but either they just don't work, can recorder my voice only, or I have to put call on speaker to record both sides.
I am coming from Symbian and there were many reliable apps for that.
Is there a single reliable Android app for call recording? I don't mind automatic or manual.
thank you
+1 here... I'm also coming from N82 with Ultimate voice recorder
I just tested Recoroid yesterday and it worked.

Thank you but I was looking for something free and Recoroid is not free. Unless there is place I can download free version?
and it doesn't seem to have any good feedback anyway!

Are you able to make calls?
I have very poor quality when the proximity sensor turns off the screen. Only when on hands-free or speaker I can hear and be heard.
Yes you can make call.
BUT
On my wildfire ( with the last openfire ROM) the sound is very laggy on WIFI or on 3G.
( people hear me correctly but I heard "laggy" , with the test echo call, everything i hear is laggy)
Does anyone has perfect sound ?

I have no quality problems (and no lag) as far as the screen does not turn off (with the proximity sensor)
I use cyanogenmod 6.1 RC2 and I have overlocked to 710MHz. I can make decent calls on 3G of WiFi but only using a headset or loudspeaker (so the screen stays on)
Market version works on cm6, wildpuzzle, stock 2.1 (1.37 debrand), just didn't work on my Vodafone branded firmware.

my market version works fine on my generic Telenor 2.1 eclair.Probabbly there is a problem with modified roms
So I installed a ffc on my vibrant. I flashed the i9000 camera mod and downloaded sgstools to modify the inputs from sgh-t959 to GT-9000. But when I use fring and tango, nobody can hear me. I can hear them and see them but the person on the opposite side can only see me, not hear. I tried to switch input info in sgstools from sgh-t959 to sph-d700, everything works except that people see me side ways. Any ideas as to what im doing wrong... and we're chatting over wi-fi so connection isn't the issue.
Maybe if I knew what input controls the mix or something, I can change that to sph-d700 and put the rest at gt-i9000..
ANY IDEAS.
bionix v 1.3.1 w/ voodoo.....
I've tried disabling voodoo to check if it was an issue and nothing changed.
PLZ HELP
No ideas? Anybody?

Hello guys
I am owning Galaxy S I and can upgrade in June to S II.
I need Call Recorder app to record both sides with good quality.
Could you check please if any application form market records a decent quality calls. If not, do you think it is possible in futuer to have this option on SII
I am using Juve 1.9 on S I and Phone.apk with automatic call recording which works perfect.
Cheers
I would also like to know this.
All call recorder doesn't work. it says your phone doesn't support recording the other party.
I think the kernel will need to be tweaked to allow it like on my HD2
hi im already try totalrecall last v with strategy A the surprise is that other sides part of any call recorded very well but my voice not recorded at all ,i dont know what is the matter im usually hopes to record other side but now with s2 my hope is my voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hopefully from xda dev can help us ???????????
thanks in advance
u can use totalrecall call recorder, it can record all your incoming & outgoing calls. lot of settings are there which you can set according to ur preference. just go to ipmart-forum & search it in android apps....
i hope it helps ur query.
It is not available now but I think it is very easy to modify the Kernel to be able to record two-way calls. Now I have exams, and there is no recovery menu for the SGS2 yet. But as soon as I finish my exams I will be working on this issue. I should have call recorder on my sgs2
I use "Call recorder" (icon: green android) and it works nicely

I tried TotalRecall and I cant seem to figure out how to make it record both my own voice and the person I'm talking to.
When I make a call it only records the voice of the person I'm talking to.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Can you check if call recording works when headphones are attached ?
That call recorder app (greenandroid icon) does seem to work with headset plugged in too so it ISNT using the speaker phone to record. Awesome!

Guys can you really record both sides with good quality???
Are the both sides loud enough???
Can someone provide the link to this app pls? Can't find it on the market.
If so I am buying Galaxy II next week!
Cheers
Yes it really works with great quality.
Only thing to note is if you reduce the volume during a call, the recorded volume goes down too but is still clear. And as I said above, it isn't using the mic to record other party from speaker. Its captured directly.

Just search 'callrecorder' by dsoft in the market

Anything better?
For sure, there must be something better out there, even if it is not free? I used to have Resco on my HD2 and works fine, with several option and the best of all was the ability to rename the audio files based on the recipient/callee's number and hence making it easy to search or archive. Plus there were several configurable options!
Sorry but I am new to Android and with 200.000 apps, this should out there....!
Hi, I'm having a very annoying issue with default email client in Froyo. Whenever I receive a notification from it -be it a sound or vibrate only- the first time it plays on back speaker but after that all sounds (music, videos or any notification) are redirected to internal speaker (the one used to listen when in calls) and back speaker remains in silence.
The only way to fix it I've found is to make a call. After that sounds are played correctly again until another email arrives.
Anyone knows a way to permanently fix this issue?? I couldn't find any reference to this by searching forum or google and I don't want to have to use another email client, I've tried Touchdown but it's painfully slow.
PS: right now I'm using CM6 TripN 1.5, but this was also happening with WB5.5. I haven't tried any other GB or Froyo ROM.
Thanks in advance.
Just curious, why are you using earlier versions of roms?
The newest versions won't do that

It's the latest CM6 Froyo from Trip and I find it more stable than WB one. Also hate all those MIUI Iphone clone roms, and most CM7 have some annoying bugs. I use camera a lot so I prefer a rom whre the camera's fully working.
All old versions do that?? Like it's Google fault?
hello? anyone??
are you using Soundhound or Shazam??? if you do, that's your problem, uninstall them and reboot, your problem will be gone...
