Hello,
I have gone through the ogo's gingerbread ROM thread. There are some later changes, updated builds/scripts, GPS fix, etc. But its really difficult to browse through all the pages. So, can somebody post the consolidated/updated steps and files/scripts in one post?
Thanks in advance.

Hi All,
I've successfully rooted with the official SDE and this tut http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1653566 .
I would like to try out the Angstrom dist. but can't seem to find a download anywhere and the online builder at http://narcissus.angstrom-distribution.org/ doesn't have the device.
is there anywhere I can get it or build it (keep in mind that I'm just a noob)?
Thanks,
karl
search for Archos Gen8 ?
Thanks, I found the g8 files on open aos dot org/wp-upload/gen8/2012-04-09/
But the cpio file is a gz file, but the official sde boot menu looks for a .lzo.
I think thats a difference between froyo and ics. I tried renaming as was suggested on another forum but it just booted to a black screen.
I be a bit more patient for now

Hi everyone,
I don't know if this is the correct way of doing this but I wrote a blog post on how to compile AOSP using Docker. The full process should take less than a day if you want to try it out. So by tonight you can have your own ROM
Please let me know if I should have posted this in some other way.
