Go and flash a new rom or reflash litening rom again.
If u have no zip on your phone then flash a rom via odin.

yesterday iwasaperson was extremely helpful to me. Thanks. I took my fascinate back to stock 2.1 and allowed it to update to 2.2. I then rooted my phone by flashing CWM recovery using ODIN. (red version) I had installed two files to root of drive one update.zip and the other for rooting the phone Su-----.zip. I ran them using the red version and restarted the phone. The phone is now rooted but I can't get back to CWM recovery.
I tried the following: I have ROM manager and flashed CWM but it wom't take. If I try to go into recovery I get the stock Samsung blue menu. I am thinking I need a different (CWM recovery comptabile) kernel or mod to get this to work.
Can someone help?
You need to flash a kernel other than stock, rebooting with the stock kernel will revert back to blue recovery

why dont you just flash CWM in odin again?
I have flashed CWM again with odin. It still won't take

This (though in reverse order).
You need to reflash CWM by odin, go into Odin immediately upon the first boot (not using Rom Manager!), and flash a new kernel from the SDcard. The stock kernel will trash CWM if it gets a chance to boot.
saf66. any ones in mind and where I can obtain them. And as if I weren't asking enough questions. (Sorry I know I am) Methods to flash them?
Or any others of you please
Go into development at the top of page open stickies and nitsu has a list of kernels,a well as roms

Hi there,
I had Cyanogenmod 7 installed on my unbranded Galaxy S2 up until yesterday where I got stuck in a never ending (or at least >30mins) bootloop on the Cyanogenmod splash screen.
Not having access to the internet at that point, I tried a few things including flashing a different kernel onto it using Odin, complete reset, and now it's stuck on the Galaxy S II splash screen.
It is still recognised when I connect it via USB, and can access the download mode and Android system recovery, but to be honest I have no idea how to proceed from here.
Have I bricked it?!
Thanks for any help.
Try flashing original Samsung stock firmware,I had this issue yesterday and only stock firmware resolved my problem.

Which firmware did you use? XXKI4 isn't working for me.
....................................
Clean Slate for those that balls up the firmware .Or need to return to service or decide if its hardware/firmware problem .
Backup data first if phone is working .
Boot CWM recovery
Mounts and Storage
Format cache data system sd card .
Remove battery
Boot to download mode
Open Odin
Install correct stock firmware .

I get the stock recovery mode when I boot. I have flashed the two kernels I had saved on my laptop (the insecure and stock ones I used when rooting) through Odin and still get stuck at the Galaxy S II Boot screen...

You require a root and CWM install to use Clockwork Recovery .
Root + CWM .

First off I know I shouldn't have done this before I was sure what I was doing, but I have done it.
I have used chainfires mobile odin pro to flash siyah's latest kernel to my rooted s3. i put the .tar on external sd. Opened mobile odin, opened file, and pressed flash. It said it's dangerous, I pressed continue and the phone immediatly rebooted, and is now stuck on boot loop.
I had never updated the phone from when it first came out, I just rooted and kept stock rom.
Any help much appreciated,
Thanks in advance.
Try to boot into download mode if this works you can flash a stock or custom Rom and kernel through Odin ans it should fix your problem.
Or try to boot into recovery and flash a custom Rom, either way should fix the bootloop.

As a precaution I'm going to ask if you have the American or international model.

Currently in download mode, going to try to install the latest kernel. Do you think that should work, or should I install custom rom?

I would say you just need to flash the kernel if that's all you changed, the Rom should be fine.

Did you choose kernel>open file>flash?
So I wanted to return to stock kernel so I flashed the stock recovery to do so with ez recovery. Now when I reboot it keeps going back into stock and won't boot please help!!!!
Try flash a new one with Odin or if all else fails just flash a firmware via Odin. That's a last resort though.
I have no idea what has happened but its fixable so relax, take a deep breath!

I have never heard of stock recovery..and what does going back to stock means..anyways..find the stock firmware for your region..go into download mode..connect to Odin via pc and flash..
Next time be clear with your question.

Can you boot into recovery. Power+Home+Vol Up

Seems to work.
But volume down (restart) leads to the same problem again.
Volume up (continue), then?

If you can get in CWM download your desired ROM. If not download an Odin version of Android 4.1 JellyBean for your phone and flash that.

Sorry, but I don't get it
I don't know if I can "get in CWM" because I never used it. I tried to install CWM for the first time as I want to install a new Rom on my phone. It's rooted but I have never changed the Rom.
I just tried to re-flash this CWM but it still doesn't work. I guess I need to find something else to flash with Odin (is this Odin 1.85 ok?) but I don't know what.
Ok I tried with CF-Root-SGS2_XW_INU_KL1-v5.0-CWM5.zip but it doesn't work either.
Please tell me what to flash, I'm starting to worry...

Hi there guys,
Hope anyone can help, i didnt start a new thread since i have the same issue as the OP.
I was on stock 4.0.3 XWLP7, I wanted to root, so i flashed CF-Root via Odin, all went well, but then when the phone rebooted, it is now stuck on the Yellow triangle.
I tried it all, flashed Siyah 5.0.1, still stuck, reflashed the CF-Root, still stuck, and also tried flashing the stock XWLP7 Kernel, and still stuck.
I can still go to download mode, but can't get into recovery.
I am really hoping i can solve this without flashing stock FW, as i need the data on the phone.
Any assistance will be much appreciated.
r u sure u flashed rite kernel for 4.0.3 im im rite syiah5is for jb . try to find tar version of root kernel for ,4.0.3 and flash vis odin
