I don't know if anyone else is having this problem but when synced with HTC hub, phone has random reboots and won't fix unless do a factory reset.... Any suggestions?
........... Do you by chance what section this is?
3D > iClone
I can't wait to use this Rom. sounds great. As soon as we get s-off and a custom recovery this is the first Rom I'm flashing. Thank you to the dev for this.
3vo 3D? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?
If you didnt notice, there is a whole entire sections dedicated to Evo 3D Q&A, Yeah, a WHOLE DAMN SECTION. Amazing huh? Maybe next time try posting there, that way no-one gets mad, no bans take place and I can get some food 15 seconds faster.
Now that your post is in the correct forum I will respond.
No, I do not have any problems with my phone rebooting when syncing with HTC Hub.

Has anyone else tried droid VNC Server on the EVO 3D? The video output appears scrambled. I'm connecting to it via USB and local port forward to 5801. This worked great for me on my EVO 4G, and I'd love to get it working on the EVO 3D as well.
Screenshot attached
noo....
mine is broken too -.-
I used this at work so my boss wouldnt notice me texting lol this sucks..
I noticed the same distortion with screenshot apps.
i have heard some people are having issue with it, i personally dont use it.. but i know there are people having the issue..
for future reference, this should be in the Q&A section..
What'ss wrong with you? You have [Q] in your title, you think it belongs in the development section or ummm I dont know, the Q&A section? Being new is no excuse. Read the rules, read the stickies and be a good little forum member.

Apologies, I will post any similar issues in the future there. Thanks.
Since it is confirmed others are having similar issues, I went ahead and posted an issue to the repository on Github here:
https://github.com/oNaiPs/droid-VNC-server/issues/20
However, if others are having the same problem w/ other screenshot apps, it sounds as though it may be more of an issue with the device than something being specific to droid VNC. Nonetheless, perhaps the developer may come up with a fix.
Same issue when trying to do screenshots in recovery with Ashot.
Even with the new updated ROM Manager, and with TeamWin's recovery.
Drocap 2 works fine for me. Plus questions go in the q and a section...

Any help here?! Looking for the functionality of VNC but obviously this doesn't work if the screen is scrambled....
...thanks!
same problem here on htc sensation. no solution yet?
This issue is caused by scan line length calculation bugs. Our vnc server has no such issues, VMLite VNC Server,
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vmlite.vncserver&hl=en
It also works on non rooted devices.

Sorry that you are fed up and disappointed. Since you are fed up and disappointed, the devs here working on this getting root FOR FREE will work even harder because they feel your pain that you cannot root your phone and run custom roms that these devs create FOR FREE. You should be happy and praising the devs here for what they have done instead of coming on here and creating a post whinning that there is no root exploit for the new HBOOT.

If they suck so much why buy one of their phones?
Anyhow no there is no known exploit at the moment if you just can't wait use this...

And just so you know.. the EVO 3D GSM isn't even out in half the world yet so give it some time alright along with the HD2 these things take time for us to work out.

I guess he just feels persecuted. I mean, the devs are obviously doing it just to piss him off!

I have personally conducted some research and trial and error techniques. I perform a NANDROID and begin a systematic removal of applications and determine what is borked. As long as you follow a procedure of backing up prior to removal you should be okay.
Incidentally - it is true that Google search provides some sites that recommend certain .apk removals, but you have to consider what I mentioned first about backing those items up first. Hope this helps
This may be the dumbest question I've asked and I've probably passed over it a few times but I keep reading about people who use the Venom 7-18 rom and I'm wanting try it out I've also seen that some people call it Viper 7 - 18 so I'm not exactly sure what it's called. I can honestly say I've looked all over XDA and even Google it but still can't find it after about 25 min of searching.. Never had this much trouble finding a rom in my life.. I have a feeling it's right in front of my face... Could someone give me a link please. Thanks.

Hit that thanks button if I helped.
Did you Google "evo 3d venom" or "evo 3d viper"? That took me about 5 seconds.
i haven't rooted a phone since my old incredible, but now i was thinking about rooting my htc incredible 4g. have a few questions revolving around this process in general.
1. does the HTC dev unboot work for the incredible 4g?
3. is there anything special i need to do beforehand? factory reset?
5.does Bluetooth work for CM10.1 work? are there any significant issues?
thanks for any help!!
All your answers are in these forums but where they are not is in this thread, let me try to explain and answer your question with answers, OK.
HTC Dev unboot is in no relation to HTC Dev unlock but if the monkey has been spanked then you can try to flash him over. Now if the monkey in question is albino then yes HTC Dev unboot will not work.
Bluetooth had been known to be disobedient and carry a grudge against the cookie monster. So your answer cookie monster.
You should always do things before factory reset or rooting your phone like
Via adb you must sideload a wanker and judge him from there, this should get the blind heretics to believe that it has superuser permission. The firmware you use should be free of any viruses or termites to avoid getting CPU rot keep that in mind when choosing which firmware to flash. Flashing should also be done at night to avoid disobedience from the day gods who hate herpes which will have no effect on the outcome of your wifes pregnancy test but still... It's just good practice.
I hope I answered all your questions before the mod deletes this.
