Hi all,
I have installed Cherry Blur, the webtop, the tethering, wake up on volume and stock theme.
All work well but two things are missing.
-The webtop icone doesn't appear when I plug the HDMI cable, only the entertainment center appear but it doesn't work.
-The finger print reader doesn't work too, in setting, security, change the lock screen, it appear and disappear directly.
Someone have an idea to fix my problems?
Thank you in advance.

I have been looking for a while and it is hard to search for on the forums, but what I want is a flashlight app that would lock the screen from input, just like the camera app does. I find that most will not respond when the screen is touched, but sometimes I manage to hit one of the shortcuts on the bottom and lose my light. Thanks to any help you can give and sorry in advance if there has been a topic about this already.
With "widget locker" you can actually set "tesla led" to be an on call flashlight.... I know it's not exactly what you're looking for but thought is mention it.
Anybody? I would think this is a feature others might like.
Flashlight Pro "View Torch"
Maybe not exactly what you want either, but the View Torch app works like this:
Turn on the flashlight
Lock the phone
Shake the phone to toggle the flashlight on and off - phone stays locked while you're using the flashlight
I was really frustrated with other flashlight apps; under my desk looking into a customer's computer and accidentally call someone because the phone is not locked while using the flashlight.
I can't get the View Torch to toggle back off while my phone is locked though, but I still like it better. Also has live view with your camera while the flashlight is on. - YMMV (Maybe the paid version works better?)

Could someone please download the app from the market, setup and let me know if you any text freezing while typing, scrolling issues while on the Internet or XDA App? It was messing with my phone but would like to know if others have issues too. (BTW... I really like the App)
Thanks

Wave Launcher is fully customizable. You can change the size, location and even thickness of the gesture-area. To change it, look for "Gesture-area presets" in the Settings screen.
The setting the works for most people and is my personal favorite is "Bottom Left - 20%". It will never interfere with the keyboard or scrolling this way.
Note that you can also have Wave Launcher automatically disable in Landscape mode which is often used for typing, games, etc.
The app is very powerful and highly customizable, please go through all the settings to make sure you make the most out of it.
Any reports guy's?

Used it and it interefered with a lot of things going on on the bottom of the phone such as opening the app drawer and typing. Just my experience others may vary.

As Mike said above.
I also tried it for a bit, and even changed the popup swipe location but it is just OK. I think bottom corner 20% was the one that worked best for me, but even then I would accidentally press the Home button. Sides are for screen sliding already, and top is for notifications, so there is not much free room to swipe around. Its a fine launcher, but I did not find it useful enough to keep.
I thought it would let me make a gesture to swipe it onto the screen, not follow my finger around everywhere, to where I cant even get rid of it without the awkward swipe back into the same corner of the screen.
What it should have is a setting on how far to follow you across the screen, so if I swipe up from bottom corner, it appears, then it follows me around but only until I get to say 50% of the screen height, then it goes away.
That way, if it appears accidentally, I dont have to swipe is back down, but simply continue the swipe up motion until it dissapears.
I tried it but didn't care for it. Holding the Home screen button essentially does the same thing. Aloso, If you're running stock then you've got your most recent apps in the notification drop down. Unless you are constantly switching between apps, it's pretty pointless.
I use mine for a quickdial and store a few contacts there. so far it hasn't interfered too much
Thanks for your feedback guys!

Hi
Is there a way to get FULL SCREEN while watching movies. Whenever i launch movies on my tab - I still have the bottom line with TouchWiz and clock and more.. I haven't found a tweak that will let me hide that.. Would be awsome that it hides after few seconds while watching something fullscreen ?
Any fix for that? - I looked in the forum for similar questions on this issue, but didn't see it - Thats why i post it .. Sorry if it is a duplicate of another question somewhere here in the forum.. ;-)
Just wondering.. Am i the only one having this issue?

Therr are a couple of posts.
Basically, since there are no hardware buttons, android forces the taskbar to always be shown to allow access to the buttons. There are no hacks for this yet as it will also require the media player to take no taskbar into account and offer a way out of the app.
Okay.. Well i was hoping there was somekind of autohide when fullscreen, and menu could be tricked by a touch.. Hopefully we will see that..

could be tricky to dev this, what you would probably need to do is have an app you run before opening a movie that hides the bar but also places a toggle to show it again on the power button. However if you remapped the power button and the tab froze you could be stuck. Probably best just to live with it
Yeah.. I saw a feature like that on the Ipad, so if it works on Ipad, it should for sure work on Android aswell..

What he said and unfortunately we will not see an auto hide anytime soon.
I've installed PWGB v2 beta 3 and everything seems to be working great, with only one exception: the Power Control widget doesn't work. I can add it to my home screen, but it's completely blank -- the five panels are there, but there are no icons, and the widget doesn't function.
Any ideas?
I don't use that widget but just tried it and I see the same thing.

Add widget to the screen and reboot the phone. It should display correctly after that
I was having the same problem, then I did what kasmanavt said and it works now. Thanks kasmanavt!
I was playing around with my Note and noticed this really weird thing.
Go to http ://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WSPTVk!egb!acZbcc (a calculator for Diablo 3) (sorry can't post links). On your computer, you can see that whenever you hover over the icons another screen pops up with a more detailed explanation. Also if you click it it pops up a different screen with more information.
How to replicate this on your Note: You can of course get to the menu by clicking on the icons. But for the hover over: This sounds silly, but put the S Pen about 1 cm off the screen over the icons. It should display the hover over menu. So far, I've seen this work on the stock browser and the Reddit News app (which I think uses the stock browser).
It's not weird, they made it like that. The s-pen acts like a mouse. You can mouse over things by hovering it around, you can left click by touching it down onto the screen, and you can right click by holding it pressed down onto the screen.
If you go to Settings>Pen Settings and enable Hovering Pen Icon (if I recall correctly this wasn't on the original stock ROM, only the leaked updates), then you will actually be able to see the mouse cursor as well, so you can see exactly what you're mousing over.
That's kinda cool actually, i never noticed that about the stock browser. Although i think this may be the first tile I've opened the stock browser since the days of the htc dream and Cupcake or Donut or whatever the thing was running.
Kind of wish Opera had this...

Thanks!
I learned something new and useful from this thread.
Yep. It is a great extra function. Turn on the mouse cursor too and you got a little PC.

This is the best thing since my uncle fester manufactured a 6 foot tobogan out of beer cans, strapped a jet engine to it, installed a flat screen TV, a toilet, and put a mini fridge in it.
