Question for experts, and appreciate your time:
I installed Cobrato's Miui rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1152555), and got it up and running (Thanks Cobrato). However, the power-on boot sequence takes quite long, and goes through these steps:
Sony Ericsson Logo -->FreeXperia x10 Recovery/Booting Custom Kernel (about 20 seconds) --> Android logo-->, then the finally the Miui ROM
My question: is there some way to eliminate the lengthy FreeXperia x10 Recovery/Booting custom kernel step?
Thanks again in advance for your help
Have you tried going to system/media and deleting the boot animation.zip

The booting custom kernel is a little slow due to the bypass, nothing can be done from our (users) side.

Click to collapse
I can't even enter the recovery because Sony Ericsson logo won't even appear.
Have you tried flashing the stock kernel back?

I have this X10 that due to some problems (random reboots) I tried to install a custom rom (2.3) using this tutorial.
I did everything right and after flashing i turned on the phone. It takes a long time to boot and when it does it reboot just after showing the lockscreen.
No matter how many times I try. It won't go any further.
So please help me.
Nobody?
Maybe ROM is broken... Restore a backup from your old ROM. If Recovery isn't working, try to install Sony PC Companion, select Update > Repair. It will install Stock 2.3 ROM.
