hey guys, i set a gesture and accidentally set the sensitivity to 12
i cant get back into my phone? PLEASE HELP @atinm OR @codeworkx
Figure this out yet?
sorry for my bad english before... may this steps could help you:
1. Make a call to your 'forgot-gesture-cellphone' from another phone, and then answer it.
2. On the call session, press home button. Now you have access to your home screen.
3. Go to CyanogenMod settings and changes your lockscreen settings.

hi,
i've been using the s3 for six month now and finally got all things the way i want (omega v34 rom with perseus kernel and jkay deluxe framework). except for two things i can't seem to find anywhere:
1. lock back and menu buttons option in the quick panel settings. every time i play something or giving the phone to someone else the back\menu button is accidentally triggered causing a "kill app" operation (long press back button to kill app mod is enabled). annoying!
2. in the contacts screen there is an option to scroll a-->z, i have contacts written in other languages and want to rearrange the scroll order and include letters that are in my language (hebrew).
are the two things i wrote already exist, and if not, from whom should i request it?
p.s i know the #2 issue is possible to solve in galaxy s2 with decompiling some apk's- if anybody knows a good guide for s3 it would be great too..
tnx in advance to the repliers!
you can request the first one in the JKay thread in original development. It's a nice idea
Or if you watching a video on YouTube and you can lock the keys with the lock button so that if i give it to my friend and back button is pressed accidentally so it won't kill our take you out of the video.

Hi everyone,
first of all I want to say I'm new to xda-developers and also I couldn't find the GT-i9100 in the list for new posts so maybe this isn't the right place for this thread . in this case, sorry, maybe someone has a hint where to post it then
So here's my problem:
My phone won't enter lockscreen. Around three days ago it started to just resume back where I had left once I press the home button (the round one in the middle) without asking me for my PIN.
I had gotten the phone used, so I did a factory reset and afterthat I installed cyanogenmod, thus rooting it, but not manually - I guess the installer did that for me.
First I had a pattern as screenlock but after applying the full-disk-encryption it would only let me choose between PIN and passoword so I set up a PIN.
Then it just started to skip the lockscreen when waking up. I get still asked the lockscreen-PIN when booting, then the SIM-PIN, then the lockscreen-PIN again, then it boots, but when the screen turns black i can always resume by pressing the home button. Also, the power button just makes the screen black, but also without ever locking it...
What I tried so far:
Settings / Lock Screen / Screen Security / Automatically Lock set to 5s
Settings / Lock Screen / Screen Security / Power button instantly locks checked
Settings / Lock Screen - Widget Pager unchecked (i read it somewhere, can't find the exact source anymore)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/help/lock-screen-home-button-fixed-t1506317 --> also tried this method, also rebooted after applying every of these changes listed above
I hope this is not too much of a stupid problem because I missed something really obvious - although that would be nice
Anyways, i would really appreciate it if anyone knew a solution to this.
After all, full disk encryption isn't exactly useful if your phone is always unlocked...
Thanks in advance everyone!

Dear all,
I have a serious problem. I have activated the speaking (for blind people) option from the accessibility button in the option menu (dont ask me why). Now I hear a loud voice repeating every step or button I press. I cannot turn it off. When I go the option menu I cannot scroll down in order to get to the accessibility button to switch the voice activation (for blind people) off.
I have downloaded Cyanogenmode 11 for samsung galaxy s4 I9505.
Does anyone know how to solve this? Is there another way to get to the accessibility button?
Thanks in advance!:good::good:
IT WORKS no hammer needed...

JUST found your answer!!! Wen in settings touch screen on BOTH sides with a finger and slide both fingers UP and the rest of settings becomes AVAILABLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just did the same thing to try and test a keyboard problem that was typing lots of extra letters that now with voice seems to be gone but the #$%^&*(*&^ voice is making use almost impossible!...
PLEASE let me know if you have come up with a solution short of a Hammer...

Hello,
I am a little confused, I showed to a friend of mine the profiles of Lollipop 5.0 and switched to an invited session. It triggered the Swiping Lockscreen (I had none before).
But now that I have switched back to my account, the option for having no lockscreen is not there anymore. I mean I do have the Swipe, the password, the PIN and the scheme way to unlock, but the option with no lockscreen is nowhere to be found !
Does anyone have a clue ? I rebooted (even with the Power + Vol+) and it didn't show up ...
Thank you
Sorry for my bad english, I'm french ˆˆ'

Try going to Settings > Security and then selecting Clear Credentials. Then you should be able be select no lockscreen again.

Hello there,
a friend of mine got a black screen and need a backup.
The display doesn't say anything. The phone vibrates if you try to turn it on with vol+ + Power button.
Could someone help me to navigate blind in the menu and try to unlock it so i can save the data?!?
Thank you in advance
Daniel
Did you have ADB on initially?
What is your lock, password or swipe pattern?
You can plug in a keyboard.
There are utilities like scrcpy to view, touch the screen.
If you use a swipe pattern you can use another rooted Android to swipe it, but it gets complicated.
As i said it's from a friend of mine.
ADB? I don't think so. He is not that Tech-Guy.
I ask him which lock he got.
Thanks for your help.
