I've noticed when flashing roms that some devs include the Rosie mod app to change the right buttons action. I was just wondering if this would be possible for our 3vos. I would love to use it in conjunction with Alt App Drawer ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154299 ) I posted in Themes and Apps in hopes that an app could be posted. If this thread needs to be in Q&A mods please move.
Booyaka Booyaka that's the sound from my cannon.
It will be possible when we have s-off but as for right now it requires some changes to framework which our system won't allow right now.

oh haha I didn't even realize this was your thread, the same person that messaged me. But maybe so you could get exactly what you want you could try out the UOT Kitchen.
I did a search but couldn't find this information. Is there a setting in the ROM or a mod that will change the app drawer from pagination to vertical free scroll on the PKMN 3.1 ROM? Thanks for answers

Once sense 4.0 roms become mainstream down the road I am sure things will come. Right now the primary concern is getting everything working well.
sounds good. thanks for the replies. I can wait for it to be implemented in its own time.
Would any dev or anybody that has messed with sense 4.0 direct me how to resize and center the tabs in the recent apps drawer, I am currently running Newts One S RLS1 and the app drawer tabs are off the right. I have no idea of what I'm doing but I would also like to place the icons under the tabs like in the PKMN Rom and I believe chubbz Sense Rom as well. I am a noob and I would be so grateful for someone to at least tell me which files I am looking for (and I will try to figure out how to edit or change them on my own) any help would be appreciated

Nevermind, I have to decompile and recompile and I barely even know what those words mean atm. I have a lot of researching and reading to do to get an understanding of what I am up against and what I have to do. Wish me luck

Hey all,
i'm owner of a S3 for about 2 weeks now. I've read a lot of stuff in this forum and a few others and im just asking here for
stuff that i couldn't figure out by myself or find in an existing thread.
My phone is rooted and it runs Crdroid 7.1.
Now my phone fits almost all my needs, all i want is to change the status bar because i really dont like this blue.
When i did run CM10 i installed a theme but in Crdroid there is no such "Theme" section in the options.
So what are the best ways to change it?
Translucent status bar + center clock + another Battery icon are already installed since it comes with the AROMA installer of Crdroid.
And is there a way to get rid of "this blue" everywhere in the UI besides the status bar?
Thank you very much in advance

There are apps in the market that allows you to modify ur statusbar..
Otherwise, there are flashable zips you can flash from the themes&apps section

isn't there any way without an app running all the time ?
sersly is this such a big deal ?
So since I've been using the new jelly bean OS 4.2 I've noticed how the wonderful widgets automatically move as you attempt to place 1 but I've also noticed that the widgets take up more space in the need some times. Try placing the analog clock on 1 of your screens and then place icons around it, you will see that if you could overlap widgets or overlap widgets and icons you could use your screen real estate more efficiently. No I'm not a developer but I think that if someone could make that work it would be a very useful app.

Give SSlauncher a try. You can move icons and widgets pixel by pixel and overlapp if you wish. You can get very nice effects with overlapping text for time and date
Sslauncher also lets you place icons on pages that link to other pages. Very useful if you have many pages and don't want to swipe all the time. You can even have a different wallpaper on each screen.
There is bit of a learning curve and the out-of-box (first setup) is terrible. Otherwise it is just your fantasy that limits how your UI look!
Questions should be posted in Q&A forums, not Development forums.

Yes for general questions I agree with that, but when you are trying to get something developed it seems more plausible to post it in a development page

Dev section is to be used to only post the ROMs and development related stuff (mods, etc) Isn't it?
If you read my post it is directly related to development, planning is a huge part of developing.
