Doh!
Accidentally used Titanium to restore bookmarks (from Froyo) onto CM7 and now when I launch the browser it FCs immediately.
Q: How do I fix this?
Remove that file? If so, how do I find bookmarks? Can I just reinstall the browser.apk?
Thanks!
Settings - Applications - Manage Applications - All - Browser - Clear Data

In the FroYo builds for the Eris, there's a feature to store the apps and settings with your Google account. Is there a way to clear that? Can you access it somehow? I understand you can de-select that option on initial setup, but does that delete said info or will it still be there for the next install?
Thanks!
I have Eugene_2E_JK2_Froyo installed 2.6.32.9. Issues I'm having is bookmarks can't be deleted (saw thread but unable to access /dbdata/ to install fix- have a root manager) , bloatware cannot be removed (uninstall not successful), samsung keypad available but not android keypad option.
delete bookmark workaround:
go to bookmarks > click the bookmark you want to delete > let it load on the browser > hit bookmarks again > history > tap the star > removed
use titanium backup to delete bloat.
you can also delete bookmarks on skyfire and then go back to the normal browser

Titanium was the key, ty. I pulled a noob and deleted bookmarks from titanium.....which deleted my browser- idiot. I had tried unstarring but it was never starred to begin with, therfore wasn't deleted.
Hey Guys I got my G tablet a few days ago installed Vegan and everything is great market seems to work.
But the problem is I cant see a bunch of apps for example Facebook and Evernote.
When I go online and try to install from market. android. com it says my device is incompatible.
Did I do something wrong?
I have the same problem, there are a few apps that don't show up in the market. I'm also running vegan.
Fixed it! I'm sorry I can't point you to the source of this fix, I lost the forum, but here it is from memory:
goto settings -> manage applications
-> Marketplace -> Clear Cache -> Force close (DO NOT CLEAR DATA)
->Google services framework -> Clear data
Launch marketplace and you will get an error
REBOOT and wait for wifi to reconnect
If you get an error, keep try it a few times
Now I can install facebook, dolphin browser, etc...

I found that if you create the first email account using the Settings>Accounts&Sync>Add new account method. Then the Email.apk will launch without a problem.
I believe the issue is related to the runOnce "Create new account" wizard for the email app.
Also, if you have any other apps (gmail, maps, play store) that are FC just go to Settings>Applications> and find the app, force stop, clear data and cache, and retry.
If you didn't wipe from LPQ then yes, clear data on the apps or actually wipe in CWM like its recommended.
Looking into the email problem, but other Roms are having the same issue so it might be the Email.APK itself.
I have bought the TB pro app, and would like some help.
Perhaps I’m missing something obvious here, but I did the following:
- Batch -> Backup all user apps & system data
- Wiped my device (Nexus 7), flashed a new rom (both based on stock)
- Installed TB, then TB Pro.
- Batch -> Restore missing apps with data.
However, a lot of the apps I restored have restored to their ‘just installed’ state. Ie. Passwords and any ‘user’ data is missing.
Examples:
- Facebook app (doesn’t know my username and password)
- Twitter (same)
- Lastpass (same)
- Moxier Mail (forgot my account settings)
However a few apps did remember my settings / data:
- FPSe
- Sixaxis controller
- Gmail (and other Google Apps)
Any advice greatly appreciated.. Many thanks.
Ignore me. Read your post wrong
Sent from my GT-I9300T using xda app-developers app
Whenever u backup apps using TB always tick the option to backup all installed apps with data.
This is the reason why ur apps didn't have any data
That's what I did.. ! Any other ideas?
